Amadeusz watched our senior chihuahua for a bit over a week - I was nervous going into it because Ellie can be a bit wary of new people, but she settled right in with Amadeusz! We received regular updates on how she was doing, along with photos - it provided peace of mind that she was well taken care of in our absence. When our return was delayed due to problems with the flight, Amadeusz was very flexible and told us not to worry. We will definitely book again next time we need care for Ellie. Thank you!

Loki seemed really comfortable and happy in Cathy and Stan's company. It's great that Cathy understands big dogs and retrievers' love for dirty water sources! He's been snoozing since I picked him up so a good sign he had a blast! ❤️

About: I have been surrounded by animals throughout my life and have experience caring for a wide variety of pets, including dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, and fish. I have trained my own dogs in agility, achieving Grade 5, as well as in Obedience and Trick Dog disciplines, earning recognised titles along the way. I am passionate about animal welfare and dedicated to providing the highest standard of care. I take pride in offering a reliable, professional service that enables more people to enjoy the companionship of dogs, with the confidence that their pets are receiving exceptional care. I work from home, which gives me the flexibility and availability to provide reliable, attentive care tailored to you and your pet's individual needs. I provide a safe, secure home environment with a fully fenced garden and two friendly, well-socialised dogs to keep your pet company. If preferred, I can also accommodate dogs that are crate trained or require crating as part of their routine. I offer both dog walking and home boarding services. Whether you need someone to take your dog for a local walk while you're at work or a caring home-from-home environment while you're away for a few days, you can be confident your pet will receive attentive, personalised care. I also have three children who have grown up around dogs and understand how to interact with them calmly and respectfully, helping to create a welcoming and family-friendly environment for your pet.

Briony's communication was excellent from start to finish, and she kept us updated throughout the weekend with regular messages and photos, which gave us complete peace of mind. Our dog is quite nervous around new people and in unfamiliar environments, but Briony made her feel right at home. She also got on well with Briony's two dogs. It was clear she was well cared for, comfortable, and happy during her stay. We would definitely recommend Briony, thank you again!

About: I adore dogs, and I am the proud parent to an almost 3 year old rescue pup who equally loves other dogs around to play with. I fully understand the trust, care and consideration needed when leaving your family member whilst you're away, in order to make you and your dog feel safe and worry free 😊 I have always had rescues, so know that all pups have different personalities and anxieties which we are well catered to deal with. I have rescued and fostered dogs in the past, and can offer a stable environment filled with enrichment, cuddles and patience. My own dog Eevee is a wonderful companion, she is patient and non dominant so knows how to behave when a new pup may need some time and space to decompress. I only work on a flexible basis 2 hours of an evening so there is always somebody at home with your pup. I am happy to send all the photos and updates you need while you're away-I know im obsessed with photo updates of my dog when I go abroad! Should you want to do a meet and greet beforehand, I am happy to arrange this as I understand it can be nerve wracking leaving your pooch with someone new for the first time! I am new to Rover, but not short on experience of looking after dogs. With successful foster care under my belt as well as helping out plenty of friends and family in the past I look forward to offering a safe, happy space to care for your pooch where they feel at home :) Currently I work flexi part time for 2-3hrs in the evening. When it comes to weekend bookings I would fit my time around your dogs needs to make sure they are getting the time, love and attention they deserve! Plus its a wonderful excuse for me to stay home all weekend, with nature walks im between as a self confessed home body. I have a fully fenced, good sized garden for your dog to play in. Our own dog Eevee is super easy going and playful. She is used to nervous fosters around so will happily give space should your dog need a little time to warm up! I am happy to follow your lead in routines you like to keep as well as any crating arrangements. Dogs typically have free roam of my home.

About: I give every dog genuine care and attention as if they were my own. I’m patient, reliable, and focused on creating a safe and loving environment for pets of all ages and personalities. I’m comfortable caring for energetic puppies who need consistency, playtime, and basic training reinforcement, as well as senior dogs who may require extra patience, gentle walks, medication reminders, or special attention to their comfort and routines. I also pay close attention to each dog’s behavior, mood, and needs so owners can feel confident their pets are happy and well cared for while they’re away. I work from home most of the time, which means I have plenty of time to give dogs the attention, care, and companionship they need throughout the day. I’m able to provide regular walks, playtime, feeding, bathroom breaks, and lots of affection without pets being left alone for long periods. I live in a spacious modern first-floor flat in a quiet residential area, which gives dogs a peaceful space to rest and settle in comfortably. Abbey Fields is right on my doorstep, providing plenty of open space for regular walks, exercise, playtime, and fresh air.

About: - Insured - DBS checked - Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Diploma I was lucky enough to grow up with several dogs and cats within my family home. Also plenty of extended family and friends with pets, which is where I came in! From a young age I always put my hand up to walk dogs, (cats if needed) pop in or stay overnight. This opened up my understanding with a real mixture of breeds, boisterous characters, puppies, kittens and senior animals. And above all else, there is nothing better than being around animals! Any animal with me gets the same love and care I share with my own 🐾

About: Experienced and reliable pet sitter with a background in kennels, grooming, training and doggy day care, now offering dedicated care for cats. I’m confident and comfortable looking after all feline personalities — from confident, affectionate cats to more shy or independent ones — always providing calm, gentle and attentive care. I have grown up around animals and have two French Bulldogs of my own, so caring for pets is a huge part of my everyday life. Alongside this, I’ve always had a real love for cats, especially British Blues and black cats with green eyes. I understand that every cat is different, so I take the time to follow their normal routine closely — including feeding, litter tray care, playtime and any specific preferences they may have. Whether your cat enjoys attention and interaction or prefers space and quiet, I adapt fully to their needs. I treat every home with respect, ensuring it is kept clean, tidy and secure at all times. I also know how important peace of mind is, so I provide regular updates, photos and videos so you can feel confident your cat is safe, comfortable and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I’ve had cats in my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with cats from the day I was born, so caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. I now have a cat of my own, who is very much part of the family and means the world to me. I understand that every cat has their own personality, routines and preferences, and I’ll take the time to get to know yours and care for them in the way they’re used to. Friends have also trusted me to look after their cats while they’ve been away. This has included visiting their homes to feed them, clean litter trays and make sure they’re happy and comfortable. I always spend time with them too, including playing with them and giving them attention and company rather than simply popping in to put food down. I know how worrying it can be leaving your pets when you’re away, so I’ll treat your cat with the same care and attention I’d want someone to give mine.

About: I’m a fun, caring animal lover who just wants the best for all animals! I currently volunteer at the Blue Cross and I’ve previously run a kennels & cattery so am confident with dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes and breeds. I’ve also worked for 2 zoos - one a mobile zoo with smaller animals such as reptiles and meerkats and the other a large zoo with everything from penguins to zebras so I’m used to a whole host of animal traits and characters, as well as meeting their needs. My work is very flexible and I work from home most of the time - if I do need to go out I often take the dog/s staying with me along, so they can enjoy a walk somewhere new at the same time🙂 My approach to looking after your pets? With love! Having had my own dogs since I was a child and more recently lost my elderly Mastiff cross Bordeaux, I know what it’s like as an owner to leave your pet with someone else. I therefore aim to make both you and your pet as comfortable as can be while you’re away and am very flexible to meets yours and their needs.

Thanos can be a scaredy cat, so it was so nice to see how his friendship with Rue was progressing and seeing him more relaxed with her by end of the week. I'd definitely recommend them both and I'll be booking them to look after Thanos, next time we're away.

About: My aim is to make sure your dog is happy, loved, entertained, walked and fed in the same way as if they were at home. I work from home so am here all day to look after your dog as I do my own gorgeous golden retriever, Stan. I wake up early (06:30) to say hi, provide breakfast, and let Stan and your lovely dog out in our safe garden followed by a cuddle. Then we’re out for a walk in the lovely open spaces on our doorstep. If it’s the weekend - and your dog is keen - we’ll go to the beach for a swim or paddle! Otherwise happy to stick to our lovely countryside walks :) Chill time then playtime in the garden followed by another walk later. Then dinner and an evening play and chill whilst we cook dinner and relax at home with Stan and his pal :) I have my own 7 year old golden retriever, Stan who is very chilled and gets on with all dogs and humans! We have a spacious home with a fenced garden. There are lots of lovely walks on our doorstep and we like to go to the beach for a swim or paddle too! Stan is my third child! I have two grown up kids at uni. Freddie, 22 and Poppy 20. I will look after your dog as if he were part of our family.

I left my anxious senior chihuahua with Amadeusz yesterday as a practice run for a longer stay - he was very understanding of her stress and was able to make friends with her and get her to settle in. He checked in throughout the day to let me know how she was doing & even sent a few pictures. I will book with him again!

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have always loved caring for them. I grew up with many cats, and since I was little I’ve helped look after them, including taking in stray cats during my childhood. We also always had family dogs, and I loved spending time with them, playing, and taking them out for walks. In total, my whole family 5 dogs overall, so I’m very comfortable being around different breeds and personalities. I also have personal experience caring for a small tortoise named Frankie, so I’m used to looking after pets with different needs and routines. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy giving them attention, care, and companionship. I’m currently not working, so I have plenty of time to give pets the attention they need. I’m available for dog walks, home visits, boarding, and overnight stays, and I can be flexible to suit your pet’s routine. I’m happy to help with whatever is needed to make sure your pet feels comfortable and well cared for. I live in a small two-bedroom house, and although I don’t have a garden, there is a small nature reserve area just behind my home that’s perfect for dog walks. There’s also a bigger park about a 5 to 10 minute walk away, so there’s plenty of outdoor space and nature nearby for exercise and fresh air. I make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and cared for in a calm, safe environment.

About: I had two dogs for 16 years who were so loved and cared for. Unfortunately they have both passed away now so I have a dog shaped hole in my heart. I am one of those people who sees a dog and just smiles. If I look after your doggy I can promise you I will care for them as if they were my own. They will be very welcome to share the sofa and there will be lots of tickling of the tummy! I love going out for walks with dogs and just really treating them like part of the family I have just retired from work so I have plenty of time. I do go out and about though so won’t necessarily be at home for the entire day. I have a fenced garden with grass. I live next to a large field where many people walk their dogs. My house does not have a road outside so it is very secure.

About: Hi! I’m a reliable, caring, and enthusiastic animal lover with a genuine passion for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I understand that pets are family members, and I treat every dog in my care with the same attention, patience, and affection I give my own. Whether your dog needs a fun walk, companionship while you’re away, feeding, playtime, or overnight care, I provide a safe and loving environment tailored to their individual needs. I am attentive to routines, exercise requirements, and any special instructions to ensure your pet feels comfortable and happy. What I Offer Dog walking Pet sitting at your home Feeding and fresh water Playtime and exercise Medication administration (if required) Regular updates, photos, and messages Basic grooming (brushing, wiping paws) Why Choose Me? Dependable and punctual Calm and patient with nervous or energetic dogs Comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and ages Strong focus on safety and wellbeing Excellent communication with pet owners I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend and providing the care, attention, and exercise they deserve! Pet care fits really naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I’m self-employed and currently only working one full day a week with a few shorter commitments on other days, so I already have plenty of time and flexibility built into my week for walks, exercise, and general care. On a day-to-day basis, I’m already used to structuring my time around being active and outdoors, so fitting in regular walks, playtime, and attention throughout the day works easily alongside my routine. I’m consistent with early mornings, daytime availability, and being around in the week, which makes it easy to stay reliable with care. Weekly, my schedule is already quite open and flexible, so I can comfortably adapt to different dogs’ needs and routines and make sure they’re getting steady, dependable care. In a pet owner’s home, I follow the dog’s usual routine so they feel comfortable and settled in their own environment. I stick closely to their feeding, walking, and care instructions, making sure everything stays consistent, calm, and familiar for them. I also pay close attention to their behaviour and needs so they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while their owner is away. If I’m caring for a pet in my own home, I have plenty of space for them to feel comfortable and relaxed. I make sure they have a safe, clean, and calm environment, and I keep their routine as close to normal as possible, including feeding, exercise, and rest. They’re supervised and given plenty of attention throughout the day, with regular walks and playtime built in. For dog walking, I focus on safe, enjoyable walks that suit each dog’s energy and personality, always making sure they’re secure and well looked after from start to finish. Overall, I prioritise keeping pets happy, comfortable, and cared for, whether I’m in their home or they’re staying with me. I also have a cavapoo your dog can socialise with. If you are not keen on this my dog Is able to stay in a separate section of the house with my parents! :)

About: -Insured - DBS checked - Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Diploma I was lucky enough to grow up with several dogs and cats within my family home. Also plenty of extended family and friends with pets, which is where I came in! From a young age I always put my hand up to walk dogs, pop in or stay overnight. This opened up my understanding with a real mixture of breeds, boisterous characters, puppies and senior dogs. More recently in my own home, I rescued my dog, Ozzy in August 2025. He was unfortunately subjected to physical and emotional abuse for the first 7 months of his life. When I found him, he came with bundles of behavioural issues I’d not experienced at such a high volume before. Fast forward to now, after seeking advice from a brilliant behaviourist and adapting my care and training for him, social walks every week alongside sometimes 20+ dogs and clear boundaries he is thriving and is my pride and joy! He is the most high energy dog I’ve ever owned, he has taught me so much I didn’t already know. And above all else, there is nothing better than being around animals! Any animal with me gets the same love and care I share with my own 🐾 Alongside the time I set aside for my own dog, I am walking dogs full time currently. The services I would like to offer: Dog walking - half hour, full hour Drop ins (on particularly hot days, or any circumstances where the dog cannot be walked) which will include toilet break, play and/or training - half hour, full hour Drop ins for other animals that do not require walking Customers who have 2 dogs that require services and can be walked together - half hour, full hour I will always do my best to fit in emergencies, however currently not taking on boarding. All care for pets will take place at the owners home, or out walking. Unless there are introductions to my dog and they can share my garden for sure!

About: I’m a 19-year-old university student who has grown up surrounded by animals and genuinely loves caring for them. I have plenty of free time around my studies, so I’m able to offer flexible and reliable pet care. I’ve spent many of my summer holidays walking dogs for family and friends, keeping myself busy while doing something I truly enjoy. I’m also on my own fitness journey, so getting out for longer walks is something I actively enjoy — making dog walking a perfect combination of exercise, fresh air and spending time with animals. I’m comfortable around animals of all ages and personalities, and my experience goes beyond dogs: my cat has kittens several times a year, so I’m very familiar with caring for young, delicate animals and understand the patience, gentleness and attention they need. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, loved and well cared for while they’re with me. As a university student, my schedule can be more flexible than a typical 9–5, meaning I can often give your dog plenty of time and attention throughout the day. Pet care serves as a wonderful break from my studies and allows me to spend time with animals which is my favourite hobby. I have a fenced garden, safe home and smoke-free environment. My cat is outdoors for most of the day, but is friendly and has been around dogs many times before with no issue. Whether your dog wants a two-hour adventure, a game of fetch in the garden, or simply someone to curl up beside, I’m happy to work around what makes them comfortable. If you choose me to take care of your furry friend, I guarantee regular updates, photos, my undivided attention and fast reply rates.

About: I’ve grown up around animals and have been caring for pets since I was around 10 years old. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, as well as pets of different ages, personalities and routines. I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable with the person looking after your pets, so I always take the time to understand their normal routine, likes, dislikes and any individual needs. I work from home, which gives me lots of flexibility and means I can spend plenty of time with the animals in my care rather than leaving them alone for long periods. I’m happy to follow feeding and walking routines, provide lots of playtime and attention, and of course give plenty of cuddles to pets who want them! My aim is for your pet to feel safe, settled and loved while you’re away and for you to be able to relax knowing they’re in good hands. I work from home which gives me much larger availability to care for my own animals and to give me time to care for others. I live at home with my mum so thankfully we also have someone in for my dogs/cats and I am able to do the same for someone else. I work full-time from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the day. I can easily work pet care around my schedule, including regular feeding, toilet breaks, walks, playtime and lots of company. This also means pets in my care won’t be left alone for long periods. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. I’ll follow their usual routine and any instructions you provide, including feeding, medication, walks and household rules. I make sure their environment is secure and pay close attention to their behaviour so I can spot if anything seems unusual. I also treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own.

About: I have had 3 dogs throughout my life (as well as a cat, hamster and fish to name a few!) I have always loved animals and caring for them. I have a pet care business myself where i am fully insured and DBS checked and many people recommend me! Whether it’s a playful puppy, a senior dog, an independent cat or a nervous rescue, I take the time to get to know each pet and care for them as if they were my own. I offer house sitting, drop in visits and dog walking, and I’m happy to stick closely to your pet’s usual routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, medication (if required) and lots of affection. I work as a primary school cleaner in afternoons (very short shifts) so I am currently available all summer holidays and will be available from September as well with slightly varying hours. Your pet’s safety and wellbeing are my top priority. To help me provide the best possible care, please let me know before your booking about any medical conditions, medications, allergies, behavioural quirks, anxiety, aggression, escape tendencies, or anything else I should be aware of. As I’ll be caring for your pet in your home, I ask that it is safe and secure, and that I’m informed of any alarms, access instructions, hazards, or other pets in the household. In the event of an emergency, I will always try to contact you first and, if necessary, seek veterinary care in your pet’s best interests. I will always treat your home with respect, follow your instructions carefully, keep your property secure, and leave everything as I found it.

About: I've always had dogs or cats throughout my life and I currently am a cat mum. I thoroughly love animals and care for them a huge amount. I am currently working hybrid and have a flexible schedule, so happy to workout timings with you when a care is needed for your pet/s I can not have animals in my home as I have a cat and I don't think she would like any visitors unfortunately and it wouldn't be fair on her. For any bookings I would speak to the customer about any possible safety issues they know of in advance from their side.

About: Hi! I’m a reliable, caring dog lover who works from home part time and spends the rest of the week as a stay at home mum, so your dog will have plenty of company, attention, and care throughout the day. My toddler is with me most weekdays (he attends nursery two days a week, increasing to three days from September), so I’m looking after dogs that are friendly and comfortable around young children. He has been brought up around dogs and is always supervised, ensuring everyone stays happy and safe. We have a lovely open plan downstairs where dogs can relax and feel at home, along with a secure, good sized garden for outdoor play and toilet breaks. We’re also lucky to have beautiful local walks nearby, as well as secure dog fields just down the road that I can book, giving dogs a safe space to run, play, and burn off energy. Every dog is different, so I’ll always follow their usual routine and give them the care they need, whether that’s long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply a quiet place to relax. I’ll treat your dog like one of the family and keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can enjoy your time away knowing they’re in safe and loving hands. I’m a stay at home mum to my toddler and work part time from my beauty room in the garden, so I’m home for most of the day and have plenty of time to give your dog attention and company. I occasionally do freelance work, but this is only on odd dates and isn’t regular, so I can usually be very flexible with bookings. I’m available for plenty of daytime care and can work around your dog’s usual routine as much as possible. I have a secure, fenced off garden and an open plan downstairs space where your dog can feel comfortable and at home. I have a lovely, friendly dog who enjoys having a playmate but is also very happy to relax and snooze in the sunshine. We have some lovely walks close by, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks, playtime and exploring. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine and give them lots of love and attention while they’re with me.

Michael took excellent care of my dog in his home while I was away for a few days. Michael kept good contact with me and sent me photos of a very happy dog - I returned back to a very happy dog and even more great photos! I've got full faith in Michael and would fully recommend him I'll be contacting Michael in the future.

Anita is the ultimate dog sitter! She is extremely caring, vigilant and always reachable for updates, whenever she takes care of my dog Lola. In fact she's been the only dog sitter who knows how to quickly calm Lola down, soon after I've left her. Anita is also a truly wonderful person, sincere, polite and respectful, in every possible way. Lola loves her!

We honestly can’t recommend John highly enough, Peggy Sue loved staying with him. She was so settled on her trail night with him. She is staying with him again this week while we get married, and it’s so nice knowing how settled she is there. John sent cute photos and updates and it really put our minds at rest :)
