About: I've had dogs in my life since I was born and over the last 20 years have rescued many. From pups to gorgeous oldies, the oldest we rescued was 17. All different sizes and breeds. Dogs are just a magnet to me when I see them, I love them all! I hadn't had a dog since 2023 as I just didn't think I could go through the heartbreak of losing another, after my last lab - they really are part of the family x However, in March, an elderly neighbour had to go into assisted living and couldn't take his beloved dog, so we took on Pixie! Pixie made me realise how much I have been missing out and we love her - such a gentle soul. Pixie is 11 and absolutely guttingly has cancer (and I feel dementia), so she sleeps most of the time, but is in no pain and loves to be with us. The reason for me deciding to become a dogsitter is because Pixie seems to love the company of other dogs and I thought it might be nice for her (and of course me!). Pixie would not want a dog who jumped all over her - but I think it would be lovely for us both! I work from home and have an office in the garden - so we can keep each other company! As well as the fenced garden, we also have 3 acres. We decided to downsize and live in a small but lovely lodge - cosy!! Your baby will be well looked after and I can follow any rules you have, medications needed, etc. They are quite welcome to share the sofa and bed with us (if that is what they are used to), as long as we can fit on too!! It is hard to leave your dog, I know - I've been upset to leave mine that needed it, at the groomers even! I would really want you to come and check us out first and get to know me & Pixie!
“It’s obvious Sharon is a natural with dogs and very easy to talk to. This was Milo’s first time for day care with Sharon and she kept me updated throughout the day with pictures and messages. He had a lovely walk by the river. Milo must have felt at home as he actually ate all his dinner which he won’t always do when we’re not around. Would highly recommend and have no hesitation booking again. Thank you Sharon.”

I’m confident with walking, feeding, bathing and providing lots of care and reassurance, and I always treat pets like family. Pet care fits well into my weekly routine alongside my uni studies. I’m organised, flexible, and able to plan my schedule around bookings. I’m available for regular drop-ins, walks, and sitting, and I always make sure pets receive consistent attention, exercise, and care while owners are away. I always prioritise safety, trust, and routine when caring for pets. I follow owners’ instructions closely, keep environments calm and secure, and ensure pets feel comfortable and well cared for in their own home.

About: We’re a responsible, animal-loving couple offering calm, attentive pet care in your home. Between us, we provide consistent companionship, which means your pets are rarely left alone and can stick to their normal routines. We understand how important it is to feel completely comfortable leaving your pets and home in someone else’s care. That’s why we prioritise clear communication, daily updates, and a relaxed, respectful approach. We have experience caring for dogs and multiple-pet households, including feeding routines, walks, medication (if needed), and keeping pets settled while you’re away. Why choose us as a couple? • Your pets get more time, attention, and companionship • Ideal for anxious pets or those used to company • Extra reassurance for home security • Flexible coverage for walks, feeding, and routines What you can expect: • Daily photo and video updates • Clean, tidy home maintained while you’re away • Reliable routines for feeding, walks, and sleep • Genuine care and affection for your pets. We’re happy to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand so you can get to know us and feel completely confident. Availability: Flexible – please message to discuss your dates. My partner, Max H., also on Rover, works with me on all bookings. I’m available during the week anytime as I work part time for myself currently and so am flexible with my time and we can take on last minute bookings. I care for my Sproodle Fudge, he’s nine years old. Through my childhood I’ve grown up with Afghan hounds and appreciate the love and care dogs require. As an ex nurse, I do not have any concerns about giving medications or looking after the safety of your pets.
About: I’ve taken care of any sort of animals since i was 16, neighbours, friends and family have all relied on me to walk, feed and take care of their loved pet i currently don’t work at the minute so this would be my only job, so i’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups, i’m available any day of the week i have a very big garden where your pups can play, unfortunately my garden isn’t fenced so if there’s a chance your pups can escape when i take them outside i’ll take them using a collar, i have one very friendly pup who loves to play

“Issy had a wonderful time with Shaun and his family.he was excellent with our energetic Staffie and we were really confident leaving her with him. They supported our routines as well as including her in their family life. He sent regular updates and the meet and greet beforehand was really beneficial and made us feel really comfortable that she would be well cared for. A very experienced family who looked after our Issy really well.10/10 would recommend.”

“Tracey is a very diligent dog carer, our dog has enjoyed the socialisation with the other dogs of the house. We receive daily photos and videos so that we can catch a glimpse of the fun he is having.”

“Charlie spent 4 nights over the weekend whilst I was away on holiday. From booking to picking up I couldn't fault Haley and Lee. With regular videos of walks and updates how he was doing i could fully relax knowing he was having a good time. I highly recommend Hayley and will certainly be booking again in the future.”

“We decided on a last minute trip out of the country. Anna worked with us every step of the way and made sure we were always in the know with our girl. She would send daily updates and photos. It was a peace of mind while we were away to know our dog was being loved and cared for by such a lovely family. Will use Anna again for boarding in the future.”

“Chestnut was with Pedro for 11 days. Pedro is great with dogs, he is very caring, attentive and sends regular updates and videos which is so helpful when you’re not with your dog baby. Chestnut loved her time at Pedro’s, she was in a loving home and was also kept busy being around other dogs, which she loves.”

About: I have been around dogs my entire life quite literally, my first present as a newborn straight out of hospital was a gorgeous black ball of fur aka Tyson a German shepherd puppy and from that day on we were inseparable…. Needless to say now gsd’s are my favorite breed and will always be my favorite butttt and that’s a very big but all dogs of all shapes and sizes hold a special place in my heart. I get on with dogs better then I do humans forming special bonds and an instant attachment to any dog I lay eyes on. I can’t go anywhere without stopping whoever has a dog and asking them if I can make a fuss of them so I thought I would put this love or obsession whatever you like to call it to good use and help others and welcome your dogs into my home where they will be loved like my own and part of our pack… food bowls washed throughly after every use and water bowls washed every time it’s refilled. Long walks every day or even 2 times a day and no I’m not talking a hour at a time I’m talking 3-4 hours I believe dogs should be outside exploring not inside all day… mental stimulation is a must… I’m not saying I’m perfect I’m just saying I know what I’m doing 🥰🥰 I am currently a stay at home mum who is looking for an extra income to contribute more to my household and my family? So I have availability pretty much all day every day from 10 AM up until 2 o’clock I am free and from 4:30 till whenever you need I am free. I will have my children with me if you are happy with that I have a baby and a toddler that don’t go to school yet if it’s at the weekend, then I will be Child free. This does not affect my ability to do my job as I have pets myself and I look after them with my children. If your dogs are other dog friendly, I’m happy for your dogs to join us, if not that’s ok too I can take them separately. I have two dogs myself who are more than happy to keep your dogs company. I can crate your dog for safety, If it is needed I have a garden and children that would love to play with your dogs if your dogs are at my home or you are happy for my children to play with your dogs then my toddler is more than happy to if my other two are at school. I have plenty of fans in my house for this hot weather and they are on all the time. If your dog is at my home, there is freshwater everywhere in my home. I have no rules in my house for dogs, being toilet trained is preferred but if your dog is old incontinent or still a puppy, it is absolutely fine. I have hardwood floors and dogs have accidents happen. It’s easily cleaned up. Your dog will be more than at home here they’ll be allowed up on the sofas in our garden.
“Laura was brilliant with Lola, took very good care of her and had excellent communication with us. We would definitely recommend, and will be booking Lola in with Laura again next time we are in the area”

“Harvey was very friendly and maintained contact regularly. He looked after our dog Sparkles really well and she settled well with him. He was brilliant and I would definitely recommend him and ask him to have our dog again. Thank you Harvey and Roger (his Labrador)”

“This was our second time boarding Rory with Lloyd, this time for a longer stay and again, had the best experience! Lloyd is so communicative and seeing photos of Rory while I was away was so comforting and I looked forward to them everyday. She got lots of exercise, time outside, and got along with Hudson seemingly so well. Again, a great experience, thank you Lloyd and Hudson!”

“My dog Kara can be very shy and timid at new places, but it seemed like she had no problem settling in and making friends. Holly was incredibly sweet and caring and the environment was very cozy and relaxed. She was also very accommodating to me and my schedule which was great. I would absolutely book with her again.”

“Sewwandi did such a great job with Bevo. They sent several pictures & videos and she communicated a lot with us providing updates throughout the day. Bevo didn’t have time to miss us between the walks and play time with their sweet little Boston, Poppy. They sent a few updates that let us know they were treating Bevo like she was their own. A week or so after her stay, we bumped into Sewwandi on a walk and Bevo lost her mind she was so excited to see her! I would recommend Sewwandi to anyone looking for a Rover!”

“I can not thank shahnaz and Andrew enough for looking after our Bailey. They made both Bailey and ourselves welcome and therefore happy leaving Bailey with them, cannot recommend them enough I will definitely being happy to leave Bailey with them again”

“Mat and his family were amazing. They looked after my parents Cockapoo while we went away and he was treated just like he was their dog. We were sent daily updates and Hughie was very happy, as were we that he was being so well looked after. Would highly recommend!”

“Bentley had a great stay, Philip kept us updated regularly so always felt relaxed that he was ok and settled. Bentley had plenty of exercise with long walks and a trip to the dog park. Would definitely recommend and use again. Many thanks”
