“We really highly recommend Kane. First time for our 3 year old Whippet to be away from us and all the worry was for nothing. She was there with my older dog and was home from home for them. Great up dates and pictures. Both dogs well cared for and happy. Thank you so much and will definitely use again”

About: I have just said farewell to my 15 year old Springer Spaniel and whilst I am not yet ready for a new companion I would love to look after your dog whilst you're on holiday. I recently retired and so available to take care of your dog all day, every day. I am used to walking 5+ miles a day and your pet will get at least 3 walks per day (if required/heat permits) and will be rarely left alone (if Sitting/boarding/day care). I have a fenced garden at the bottom of a quiet cul de sac, and live nearby a large orchard for safe (on lead) walks. Crate and dog bed available and covers on furniture if cuddles are required. I can accommodate 2 dogs from the same family at my home. I will decline bookings if we already have a dog with me.
“Luna was very happy when we picked her up I think she wanted to stay. Naomi sent video and photos to keep us updated. We will definitely use Naomi again. Thank you for taking care of our fur baby.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and can’t imagine a home without them. Over the years, I’ve cared for everything from high energy pups to older dogs who just need a slow stroll and gentle attention. While I’m new to offering pet care through Rover, I bring decades of hands-on experience from raising and looking after dogs within my own family. I take pride in being reliable, patient, and detail-oriented, the kind of person both pets and people can depend on. I occasionally get help from my husband and nephew, who are also lifelong dog owners, but I personally handle all Rover bookings and communication to make sure you always know who’s caring for your pet. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the time, attention, and consistency they need throughout the day. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening playtime, I plan my day around your pet’s routine to keep things as familiar and stress-free as possible. I’m available on both weekdays and weekends, and I can adjust my availability for drop-ins, walks, or overnight stays based on your needs. If your pet has a specific schedule for feeding, walks, or medication, I’m happy to follow it closely. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. At my home, pets are cared for in a secure, structured, and loving environment. I have two friendly resident dogs who are well-socialized and enjoy the company of other dogs. Introductions are always done slowly and safely to ensure everyone feels comfortable. Depending on your pet’s needs, they can either relax indoors as part of the family or enjoy their own space in a clean, secure kennel with a run. I also have a large, fully fenced garden where dogs can play, explore, or just enjoy some fresh air in a safe, enclosed space. I always follow your instructions closely and provide consistent routines, positive reinforcement, and gentle care. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away.

“Lina was great with our dog, home from home and regularly updated on what he was up to, with photos and messages. I Would recommend Lina and her partner to anyone in need of dog care and will book again for Ronnie”

“We couldn't have asked for a better sitter than Kim for our 1 year old lexi, it was clear when we had a pre meet with Kim and her own 3 adorable dogs how much love and care lexi would receive. During her 5 day stay we were kept updated with pics etc, lexi was treated with walks in the woods and visits to the beach and lexi looked so happy enjoying her break, she was relaxed and had truly bonded with Kim and her dogs,Kim's love for dogs really stood out. I can highly recommend Kim to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter. Lexi will definitely be going back next time we go away. Once again thank you Kim Gary rasa and lexi.”

“Ayesha was absolutely amazing. She stepped in and accepted our booking for a 2-night overnight stay with less than 24 hours’ notice after another sitter cancelled at the last minute, which was such a relief. Our dog has separation anxiety and usually struggles being left with new people, but from the moment we dropped him off it was clear he was in safe, caring hands. Even after a difficult first night, Ayesha handled everything so patiently and professionally, and he settled really well the following day. She kept us updated throughout with regular messages, videos, and photos, which really put our minds at ease. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate sitter.”

“This was our first time using a dog sitter, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! From the start, communication was great, and we got daily updates with pictures and videos of him playing with the other dogs — that put us at ease knowing he was enjoying himself. He came home happy, tired, and clearly well cared for. We’ll definitely be booking again!”

“Carla and Jim looked after our 6 month old puppy for the weekend and we couldn’t have been happier with the love and care our Betsy received. We had lots of pupdates with pictures and could see our fur baby was really cared for. We will definitely be using these lovely people again and would highly recommend them.”

About: I have a cat of my own who used to be a stray, now he is our family. I have experience with cats of all ages as i used to have many back in my childhood farm. The past few years, i have looked after my friends, families and even neighbours cats if they are away from home. I clean their litter boxes, feed them, show them love and if allowed, give them walkies too.

“Steph is absolutely amazing, extremely friendly and welcoming. One of my cats is diabetic and both are ex-strays so I was a little worried about leaving them with someone they didn't know well. But Steph sent constant updates every feeding time and my boys absolutely adored her. The house was left exactly how we left it as well.”

About: I've taken care of cats my whole life. I was born into a cat owning home. Caring for cats comes naturally to me as I love them all. I'm diligent in adhering to your cat's usual routines, feeding times and types, and I delight in taking photos of them to share with you while you're away! I'm happy to deal with cats of all ages and breeds. I have cared for senior cats and those who require medication. I am swift to see any sickness or injury so I can be their first responder, then get them to your vet, if needed. I can administer medications, if needed. I will give cats lots of attention if that's what they enjoy, or leave them if they don't.

About: Hi, I’m Rita, the person behind The C Cat Sitting. Cats have been an important part of my life and have played a big role in shaping who I am today. I share my home with three lovely cats, though if I’m honest, it often feels like I’m simply living in their house and they kindly allow me to stay! Each of them has their own unique personality, and living with them has taught me patience, compassion and a deep appreciation for every cat’s individuality. After years of being the trusted cat sitter for friends and family, and seeing the reassurance it brought both them and their pets, I realised I wanted something more meaningful than the typical 9–5 path. I wanted to build a career doing something that truly brings me joy. Turning my natural love for cats into my own business felt like the perfect way to create a more fulfilling path while providing dedicated, compassionate care for cats and peace of mind for their owners. For the past year and a half, I’ve also volunteered at the RSPCA as a cat cuddler, supporting cats while they wait for their forever homes. This experience has been incredibly rewarding. Helping them feel safe and watching them slowly begin to trust again is truly special, a beautiful reminder of the healing power of love and patience. My friends often say I’m a bit of a “cat whisperer,” which I take as a wonderful compliment. Cats seem to naturally feel comfortable around me wherever I go. I believe this comes from respecting their boundaries and recognising when they want attention, and just as importantly, when they prefer a little space. I truly believe cats are happiest in the comfort of their own home, surrounded by familiar sights, smells and routines. My aim is to care for them in a calm, gentle and patient way so they feel safe and relaxed while you’re away. I don’t just pop in to feed and clean, I take the time to sit with them, give them attention if they want it, and make sure they feel comfortable. Every cat I care for is treated with the same love, respect and attentiveness that I give to my own. I am fully insured and DBS checked. Leaving your cat in someone else’s care is never a small decision. My goal is to provide the same level of dedication, kindness and reassurance that I would want for my own.

About: I’ve been around cats for most of my life through friends and family who have owned them, giving me plenty of experience with their different personalities, routines, and quirks. From playful kittens to independent older cats, I’ve always enjoyed spending time with them and learning how best to make them feel comfortable and happy! I absolutely love cats and understand that every cat is unique. Some enjoy plenty of attention and affection, while others prefer their own space, and I’m happy to adapt to whatever makes your cat feel most relaxed and secure☺️ Whether it’s feeding, playtime, keeping litter trays clean, or simply providing company and reassurance while you’re away, I’ll make sure your cat receives the care, attention, and respect they deserve. My priority is ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their familiar environment!
About: I’ve looked after my family and friend’s pets so often that they often ask me why I don’t do it all the time- so I thought I’d give it a shot! I’m never happier than when I’m surrounded by animals and I have a natural ability to care for them and train them. I ride my horse early morning and then walk my own dogs who are sociable and well behaved and love new faces ! I thought I have lots of some spare time on my hands so I’m giving this a go . I have a safe , secure nice sized garden and live in a village location with lots off on and off lead walking areas. I have a crate for those that need one and plenty of space so that pets feel at home and not overwhelmed.
About: I've had dogs all my life which have all been an integral part of my family. I've had fur babies of different breeds including Labradors, Scottish terriers, Beagles, Chihuahuas and currently have a puppy who is a Pitt bull mix called Maeva who is my absolute world ! I honestly believe a dog is the most beautiful creature on the planet. I love their individual personalities and their strength to love unconditionally. They bring so much joy and I just love being around them. I have raised all of my dogs from puppies to end of life and trained them all to a high obedience standard whilst still letting them rule the roost and be spoilt rotten. I'm a loyal, trust worthy person who will treat your home and beloved fur baby as if they were my own. I'm a hairdresser by trade but currently having to live with my parents due to personal circumstances so I could generally always be free to house/dog sit most days of the week and at short notice. I really look forward to meeting you all!. X I'm currently not working as I relocated to be with my partner recently so I’m flexible with my schedule until I find a part time or full time position. I am happy to adhere to any rules/instructions you have for your pet and your home and will treat both with respect and do things the way you see best.

About: Hi, I have had 2 years experience working in a doggy daycare and love to look after dogs. I ve looked after small chihuahuas all the way up to dobermans and bernese mountain dogs. I have a qualification in animal care, agriculture and countryside. I love all animals and have looked after all types of animals. I enjoy being able to train dogs with positive reinforcement and have had success with improving good behaviour in dogs. I have 2 small children who love dogs just as much as I do. I have 2 children in primary school. I have school runs on week days. I take children to school for 9 and have to pick up for 3. My husband gets home at half 5 so I can work after that as well. About: My lovely boy gave us eleven and a half year of wonderful moments; ensured we accomplished our daily steps requirements; kept our socialising going with both humans and four-legged friends and listened to many of my moans with a smile! I would love to help you out whether it's for a weekend, a vacation, or just a few hours. On the agenda would be: - Regular walks - Feeding & medication schedules as instructed - Lots of cuddles and attention - Photo & video updates - Secure & Stress-free environment with no sharing. - All home rules followed. Freelancing from home offers flexibility, walks are always in the daily routine, rain or shine; toilet breaks in between are a French door away; attention & interaction is constant. The garden and drive are fenced off, accessible and safe with no restricted areas and can accommodate a large breed. Indoors I never had restrictions for my boy, from jumping on the settee - to share a pack of popcorn - to soaking the sun on the bed through the bedroom window. The living area is open plan and fully accessible for your pet to follow and have a nose, no stairs to worry about.

Many thanks, Geoff P”

We have lived with both cats and dogs, and know how to take care of them to give them the love and attention they deserve. we will look after them as if they're our own. We now have one dog, previously two. A nervous medium Labradoodle who we love to bits, so we have experience with nervous and anxious dogs. I have owned four cats in the past, who my daughter has also grown up with from a young age. My daughter has studied animal care and has a diploma in animal care level two, she is happy to show proof if requested. I am an ex-nurse who is compassionate and friendly and I've have an up to date enhanced DBS certificate, again happy to show proof. We hope to hear from you. Anna and Rebecca 😊

About: I’ve taken care of a lot of different animals before, I have many animals of my own I love spending time with animals and enjoying there companionship I am fully insured. Pet care has always been a priority for me and any animals around me I’ve always wanted to help people and animals with their needs and struggles. I adore animals and love there comfort and company I find being with animals so enjoyable and rewarding aswell as relaxing as animals are such amazing partners to share time with. In my home with my pets I clean them out make sure they always have water no matter what especially in the heat or on a dog walk, I often take a ball for one of my dogs and the other she likes to just walk along side of us, there so good letting me brush and wash them sometimes tricky but not as bad as has been before but my cats are so good with minimum treats brushing and my guniea pigs are such an amazing company aswell, in a owners home will always be dependable on what the owner wants me to do and depends on the well being of the animals wether they have illnesses or not or anything like any anxiety or allergies. As long as the animals are safe and happy.

About: I was raised in a farm back in my home country where i had many animals to look after. Dogs and cats were pets we always had and I have experience looking after them from a young age. Now I’m 22, I have a cat and a collie dog in my family :) We got the collie as a puppy and as a family we trained him to behave well, to this day he learns new tricks and leaves us surprised with his cleverness. I also volunteer at a dog shelter nearby where i get to play with and walk different dogs each time. I have a remote travel business that i work on from home, and i work part time between 5-9pm Monday to friday. I an available most of the day and after work too :) I live in a flat on the second floor. In my home we have a cat who loves to explore our garden and climb sheds. Our family dog who’s a collie, visits us weekly as he lives with my older sister in a town nearby. In the pet owners house, i will ensure all pets feel as comfortable as always
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and had my own dog for over 16 years, from when I was a child all the way into adulthood. That experience taught me so much about the love, patience, and attention dogs need at every stage of life. I’m especially comfortable with senior dogs and understand how to care for them gently and attentively. What sets me apart is that I truly treat every dog like my own. I pay close attention to their individual personalities and needs, whether that means extra playtime, slow and calm walks, or just a lot of affection. I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely love spending time with animals, it’s not just a side job for me, it’s something I truly enjoy I’m currently working part time. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because spending time with animals is something I truly enjoy and make time for. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to be available for regular walks, drop-in visits, or extended care depending on your pet’s needs. Whether it’s early morning walks, mid-day check-ins, or evening playtime, I’m happy to fit pet care into my day. When caring for pets in a pet owner's home, I make sure to follow their usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel safe and comfortable. I take time to learn each pet’s specific needs, whether it’s feeding schedules, walk routines, medication, or playtime preferences. I always give them plenty of attention.

I typically work Monday and Tuesday mornings in a bakery, the rest of my time is dedicated to pet care, I typically walk 10am until 3pm My home is fully dog proofed with 6ft gates and fences all around the 1/2 acre property. About: I’ve been surrounded by a wide variety of dogs ever since I was 7 when I first took on care responsibilities of our Jack Russell puppy. I looked after her until the day she died at age 13. I take so much joy in caring for animals and making them feel happy and safe. I’ve got a lot of experience walking and looking after many different breeds ranging from highland terriers to great danes. I’ve recently moved back home to Norfolk after 10 years in London. We have 5 gorgeous, feisty dachshunds so I’ve also had plenty of experience walking and looking after multiple dogs at once. I’ve also helped to look after each of them during their very early weeks so I have a lot of experience with much puppies and younger dogs too. I have a completely free schedule currently as I work on my thesis remotely, meaning I can do that at any time of day. I’m very flexible and happy to meet your needs whatever they are. When it comes to caring for pets in another person’s home I’d like to request basic instructions in terms of what you’d like me to provide for your pet for example, how long they typically spend out on a walk or whether they require feeding at a set time. I also like to check if they have any habits I need to keep ahead of such as eating random things off the floor in parks or difficulty with recall, to ensure I can keep them as safe as possible and maintain the great condition of your home. I also really enjoy bathing dogs and am very thorough in cleaning up.
About: I’ve looked after my family and friend’s pets so often that they often ask me why I don’t do it all the time- so I thought I’d give it a shot!

“We really highly recommend Kane. First time for our 3 year old Whippet to be away from us and all the worry was for nothing. She was there with my older dog and was home from home for them. Great up dates and pictures. Both dogs well cared for and happy. Thank you so much and will definitely use again”
