“It was my first time using Cathy and her adorable golden retriever Stan. We initially met to see if Lana was comfortable there. When we returned for Lana to stay, she happily walked into Cathy’s driveway. Cathy sent me pupdates while Lana was with her. At no time was I concerned about Lana. In fact, my plans changed and Cathy kindly extended Lana’s stay for me at short notice which was so very kind and helpful of her. When I picked Lana up, although she was happy to see me, she was in no rush to leave. Lana, and in fact, myself, were treated like a member of the family. I know for a fact that Lana was not distressed as she licks her paw raw when distressed. Lana was with Cathy for nearly 24 hours and her paw was perfect. I will definitely be using Cathy (and Stan) again. X”

About: My boyfriend and I are huge dog lovers and would absolutely love to have a dog of our own one day, but we’re holding off for another year (we also love our holidays!). In the meantime, we love opening our home to four-legged guests! We regularly look after his brother’s dog and my parents’ dog (both pictured) - who we used to live with before we moved in together. so we’re very used to different personalities, routines, and plenty of cuddles. Your pup will be treated like part of the family, with lots of love, playtime, walks and a comfortable home environment while you’re away. We can’t wait to meet them! I regularly work from home so your dog will have all-day company. I’ll take them on a morning (8am) & afternoon (5pm) lead walk. Please note i’m not comfortable letting dogs off the lead until I’ve known them for a considerable amount of time and trust their recall. We have a good sized garden, in the summer I’m happy to leave the patio doors open so they can come and go as they please whilst I work upstairs. Dogs are welcome and even encouraged on the furniture. My boyfriend would prefer for dogs to sleep down by the side of the bed, but I cave to puppy eyes easily 🤭 We have a fenced and locked garden. We are tidy couple so rest assured there won’t be anything left out for your dog to chew/choke on. We can crate your dog if you prefer. However if I were to nip out I’d be happy to leave them in the down stairs front room and kitchen area as it’s hard floor (opposed to carpet upstairs). Our house is very quiet other than the occasional doorbell ring from a deliver driver.

About: I have taken care of a range of animals from the young age of 10. I have also cared and adored animals. I work from home which gives me much larger availability to care for my own animals and to give me time to care for others. I live at home with my mum so thankfully we also have someone in for my dogs/cats and I am able to do the same for someone else. I work full time but from home so I can easily manage my work around been attentive to animals which makes it much easier for me. Make sure they are safe in the environment they are in and and can bring no harm to themselves or others. Make sure they have good care.

About: I have grown up around cats my whole life, visited friends and family who own cats and even house sat for cats before too! I’m qualified vet nurse assistant level 2, fully first aid trained and have knowledge of behaviour issues. I went to college at writtle university college, I looked after the cats everyday. About: I’ve always lived with dogs. My husband and I currently share our home with two golden retrievers, both girls, one is 15 1/2 years old and the other is 8 1/2 years old. We’ve had both girls from puppies and have loved training them and sharing our lives with them. We live in a small village with the river Crouch and farmland walks on our doorstep. I’m a part time teacher but looking to retire next year so I have lots of time and love to offer any dogs who need a holiday hone As I have 2 dogs, I already have daily doggy routines in place. My dogs have access to the enclosed garden all day and enjoy our daily walks around various fields or along the seawall. Tide dependent, they also love swimming in the river. Although I work part time at school, my husband works from home so there’s usually at least one of us at home. We have a large, enclosed garden which our dogs love exploring/ sunbathing in! I would care for your pets in just the same way that I’ve always cared for my own pets. Daily walks, play and cuddles are paramount.

I work from home so am here all day to look after your dog as I do my own gorgeous golden retriever, Stan. I wake up early (06:30) to say hi, provide breakfast, and let Stan and your lovely dog out in our safe garden followed by a cuddle. Then we’re out for a walk in the lovely open spaces on our doorstep. If it’s the weekend - and your dog is keen - we’ll go to the beach for a swim or paddle! Otherwise happy to stick to our lovely countryside walks :) Chill time then playtime in the garden followed by another walk later. Then dinner and an evening play and chill whilst we cook dinner and relax at home with Stan and his pal :) I have my own 7 year old golden retriever, Stan who is very chilled and gets on with all dogs and humans! Here we would also exchange keys. From then on per visit is charged. I recommend once a day at a minimum for cats. Dogs would be discussed at consultation as this depends on how long you are out. At a visit we will feed your pets if required, change water bowls, clean any litter trays/the garden if required and will send you a photo update of your pets. If they would like a fuss I will give them ALLLLL the fusses, kisses and cuddles 🥰 I can also turn lights on/off, the TV, water plants if needed etc just discuss this at consultation. We do not let cats outside while we do cat visits. This is because we cannot guarantee your cats will come home for us the same way they do for mum or dad. I have dog sat and dog walked for people a few times. I have worked in childcare for 3+ years and I still am. I have availability on Mondays. I am available some evenings after work at 5pm and I am available at weekends. I love all dogs and other small animals. I would prefer to dogsit at the owners home (s) if possible. I would make sure that food that is not dog food is out of reach and they wouldn't climb on anything, furniture etc. that they are not supposed to.

“It was my first time using Cathy and her adorable golden retriever Stan. We initially met to see if Lana was comfortable there. When we returned for Lana to stay, she happily walked into Cathy’s driveway. Cathy sent me pupdates while Lana was with her. At no time was I concerned about Lana. In fact, my plans changed and Cathy kindly extended Lana’s stay for me at short notice which was so very kind and helpful of her. When I picked Lana up, although she was happy to see me, she was in no rush to leave. Lana, and in fact, myself, were treated like a member of the family. I know for a fact that Lana was not distressed as she licks her paw raw when distressed. Lana was with Cathy for nearly 24 hours and her paw was perfect. I will definitely be using Cathy (and Stan) again. X”
