About: Myself and husband Alan were raised with family dogs and once married we got our first family pet Billy who was a golden Labrador. He was loved by all due to his temperament and behaviour around everyone and we were devastated to lose him aged 13. After 18 months we missed the companionship we always had with Billy and chose Mabel the labradoodle who was 12 weeks when she came to live with us. She became our 3rd child and was cherished from the start. Sadly we lost her aged 12 years and 6 months 2 years ago. Both our grown children now have dogs which we regularly look after when they go away. We both love having them for ‘sleepovers’ and love walking with the ‘grand’ dogs as they both fit into our family unit. Due to commitments we now have with 4 grandchildren we are not in a position to have another dog full time but miss the company and regular walks. We would love to have the opportunity to help people out on a short term basis. I work part time and look after grandchildren for one day. Alan works full time. Looking after a dog on a short term basis on the days we can where we are completely free to will mean we can give regular exercise & love. We have an enclosed garden for safety & security. All dogs will have full access to our house at any time they are here with us.

About: I grew up around dogs and cats and always took an opportunity to care for my friend’s/family dogs whenever I could. I absolutely love spending time with animals whether it’s a walk in a forest, coffee in town, cuddle on the sofa, little training session or playing with their toys. I finally got a dog on my own last year from a puppy, cocker spaniel Daisy who is 1.5 years now 🥰 I currently work from home majority of the time, so my schedule is very flexible. I drive and can get to your home if needed, take dogs on a field/forest walk as well! I have a fenced garden in new development, it’s big enough for dogs to have a little play and run outside. It’s a quiet area, with a lot paths to walk, close to lovely fields and small forests for dogs to enjoy. I will always adhere to any specific rules or requirements around your pet’s safety and schedule. If needed I can separate dogs in the house, if they don’t get on with Daisy for any reason.
About: I have always been obsessed with dogs from since I can remember and we got a family dog of our our just over 4 years ago. Murphy (the cocker spaniel) is now such a loveable member for our family! He loves long walks in the park/ forests. I grew up having hamsters. And would often look after family and friends dogs for them. Since moving to Norwich for work (and moving out of my family home) I’m missing constantly living with my furry friend. I go back as much as I can to visit him but I thought why not combine a love of mine to care for some more furry friends! I work as a youth mental health worker so I have full DBS and I drive! I am available for boarding, walks and check ins on weekends (Friday to Sunday). Mondays I work from home so I can do drop ins or walks in my lunch break. I can also do any evenings from 5:30pm. “We were travelling to Norwich for a family wedding but did not want to leave our French Bulldog Claude in kennels. Cara looked after him over the weekend. About: I absolutely adore animals since I know myself and working with dogs has been one of the best things I could do for myself and also other people. I have been surrounded by animals since I was a child and I find life empty without them. Being self employed allowed me to meet lots of great pets and that gave me a lot of joy. I’ve recently retired and lost my companion Charlie so I’m hoping to invest my love in your precious one now. I’m recently retired so expect to spend all day with your pet, making them part of my life while they are with me. I live in a city centre maisonette and have a small secure outside space for fresh air, but there are also parks near me and all the smells and excitement of the city. I follow whatever exercise routine and rules you have at home. Pets can come on the sofa for cuddles if you allow that, and can either sleep downstairs or upstairs on the bed with me.

It would be perfect for indoor cats! I have ventilators on my windows so can keep them shut for your pet's safety and am currently adding a chicken wire barrier to the balcony to avoid accidents. I also have an electric fan for hot weather. I don't mind having pets on furniture or in my bed if that's what they are used to. Who doesn't love a midnight cuddle with their critter?😸 I am happy to take your pet outside for walks and toilet breaks as often as they need (the stairs are great exercise!)

I finally got a dog on my own last year from a puppy, cocker spaniel Daisy who is 1.5 years now 🥰 I currently work from home majority of the time, so my schedule is very flexible. I drive and can get to your home if needed, take dogs on a field/forest walk as well! I have a fenced garden in new development, it’s big enough for dogs to have a little play and run outside. It’s a quiet area, with a lot paths to walk, close to lovely fields and small forests for dogs to enjoy. I will always adhere to any specific rules or requirements around your pet’s safety and schedule. If needed I can separate dogs in the house, if they don’t get on with Daisy for any reason.

About: I have taken care of many dogs since I was about 7, when we got our first rescue dog (King Charles Cavalier x Cocker Spaniel). I have always loved dogs and wanted to be involved in taking care of our pets. Later on we got two more rescues (Border Collies) and I had to learn how to make them feel safe and happy. About: Myself and husband Alan were raised with family dogs and once married we got our first family pet Billy who was a golden Labrador. He was loved by all due to his temperament and behaviour around everyone and we were devastated to lose him aged 13. After 18 months we missed the companionship we always had with Billy and chose Mabel the labradoodle who was 12 weeks when she came to live with us. She became our 3rd child and was cherished from the start. Sadly we lost her aged 12 years and 6 months 2 years ago. Both our grown children now have dogs which we regularly look after when they go away. We both love having them for ‘sleepovers’ and love walking with the ‘grand’ dogs as they both fit into our family unit. Due to commitments we now have with 4 grandchildren we are not in a position to have another dog full time but miss the company and regular walks. We would love to have the opportunity to help people out on a short term basis. I work part time and look after grandchildren for one day. Alan works full time. Looking after a dog on a short term basis on the days we can where we are completely free to will mean we can give regular exercise & love. We have an enclosed garden for safety & security. All dogs will have full access to our house at any time they are here with us.

“This was Jake's first 2 nights away, and we were worried about him and how he'd react. We didn't need to worry. Abigail ensured Jake was comfy and content. Kept us updated, and put us at ease. The bonus part of him staying over was the fact that he gained more confidence around Rory, and got to have a play buddy for his time away. Realistically, I don't think Jake remembered to miss us, because he was having such a great time.”

About: I'm currently a university student missing her dog back at home who I've been caring for him since he was a puppy. Even before that I have always had love for dogs and all other furry animals. I have lots of experience with various dogs and pets as I have been petsitting and dog walking for friends for several years now. With my dog, I take a special interest in his veterinary care and I'm comfortable with administering medication as I have had to manage this for two years now. I am currently a student and only work part time, so I am flexible and have much time to really take an interest in your pet for long walks, pet sitting in the day and occasional overnight petsitting! I will be happy to look after your furry friend in the pet owner's home.
