About: I’ve lived with and looked after many pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits and other small animals. I regularly look after my friends dogs, cats and other small pets. I have a passion for dogs and although I don’t currently have my own I regularly walk dogs daily with friends and/or family. I’ve helped train puppies and also spent time caring for elder dogs. I currently work for a company that produces smart devices for pets so I am very familiar with animals and the wants and needs required to look after them and their welfare. I work fully remote for a pet device company and regularly spend my spare time with my friends and families pets. I’m active and love walking, I have completed the Camino de Santiago and enjoyed every step. Although I don’t currently have a pet of my own I have pet beds, bowls and other toys etc as I regularly look after dogs at my house. I make sure my house is pet friendly and love to get to know every animal I pet sit. A part of forming a bond and making sure they are cared for is understanding the behaviours and habits they already have and keeping as routine as you can to keep them safe and happy. About: I first became a "dog Mum" 15 years ago to our Westie, Elland, who sadly we lost recently. I sadly was that annoying "Dog Mum" who had pictures of her on my desk and booked holiday for her birthday each year. I took voluntary redundancy nearly 6 years ago so have been fortunate to spend quality time at home with her and take her out and about on our own or with her other doggy friends. Unfortunately she lost her hearing about 3 years ago so learnt quickly how to communicate with her with some basic sign language. She also developed dry eye disease so I had to administer drops 5 times each day. Two of these were determined by time so I had to ensure I was available to give her these on time. The last 5 months of her life, her arthritis worsened so I bought a buggy to help her whilst out for daily walks/sniffs. I have also looked after family dogs whilst they have been on holiday and have accomodated raw feeding for one of family dogs. I live with my husband in a bungalow. He still works but is here in the evenings and at weekends. I work during examination periods at a local college but can accomodate pet sitting around this as dates are known well in advance. My contract with the college is ona casual basis so dog sitting will be my priority. We have used a local dog sitter who stayed in our home when we went on holiday. I therefore understand the importance of providing important information to the pet sitter when leaving the pet. When I first stopped working I volunteered for a local hospice helping support a family who used their services, by walking their dog on a weekly basis to give them some respite and also encourage the dog to socilise. I did this for 12 months. I also volunteered at Wood Green Animal Charity during Covid restrictions. Although I was there to help in the fundraising office, we often had dogs who weren't settling in kennels, come and sit with us in the office for the day. Some were quite withdrawn so I learnt how to slowly gain their trust. I am retired so home all day. My husband works full time but is home in the evenings and at weekends. I do some casual exam invigilating but I know dates for this in advance so will not take on any work if pet sitting is booked. I am happy to be led by the owners on when and what activity their dog (s) are used to so am pretty flexible. I have acess to my own car so can take the dog to any appointments if required. I have a fully fenced in garden (6ft) I live in a village with lots of access to quiet walks in the countryside if required, as well as walks within the village itself. I am happy to book out local secure dog fields if agreed with the owner but this will involve driving to nearby fields. As previously mentioned we live in a bungalow so no stairs. We are based in a quiet cul-de-sac so if your dog is reactive to traffic, should not be a problm here. I have space for a medium size crate if required.

About: I grew up with dogs. My parents managed a very successful boarding establishment which I worked in regularly and we always had dogs of our own: Rhodesian ridgebacks, rescue greyhounds, dachshunds to name a few. I've regularly looked after other people's dogs and have never had any complaints. My husband and I have a beautiful little jack russell whom we adore. My husband works from home, so is home all day to ensure that your dogs have company and I'll take responsibility for feeding and any medication required. While I work approximately 38 weeks a year, my husband works from home full time and is available to keep your pet company throughout the day. My mother, who worked with dogs for 55 years prior to retiring, also visits us regularly and is happy to help out with any dogs staying. We love heading out walks; dog walking is already part of our daily routine, with longer walks and adventures being a favourite weekend hobby. Check that they can't jump the tall fence in the garden, or are likely to dig underneath it. Lots of play time interacting with us and our jack russell, Maple. Feeding time(s) as per owners' requests. Medication administered as required. Plenty of opportunities to do the toilet (both in the garden and on walks)

About: I have just said farewell to my 15 year old Springer Spaniel and whilst I am not yet ready for a new companion I would love to look after your dog whilst you're on holiday. I recently retired and so available to take care of your dog all day, every day. I am used to walking 5+ miles a day and your pet will get at least 3 walks per day (if required/heat permits) and will be rarely left alone (if Sitting/boarding/day care). I have a fenced garden at the bottom of a quiet cul de sac, and live nearby a large orchard for safe (on lead) walks. Crate and dog bed available and covers on furniture if cuddles are required. About: I have been an animal lover my entire life and I am hoping to work with animals as a full time job in the future. I am currently in university studying Veterinary Physiotherapy and I recently completed my level 3 Animal Management qualification at college. Due to my university schedule, I am only available during the holidays (Christmas, Easter and summer). I have previous work experience at the RSPCA looking after a range of dog breeds, including larger breeds like Huskies and Cane Corsos as well as small breeds like Chihuahuas and Terriers. During this experience, I have helped to walk dogs, clean out kennels, feed and play with dogs. I have also gained experience working with cats, rabbits, birds and other small animals at the RSPCA. I currently have a dog, who is a springer spaniel x poodle called Doodle, and a cat, called Pancake. I spend much of my free time taking Doodle on walks and playing and cuddling with her and Pancake whenever they want to. I have also on many occasions looked after pets of friends and family, including labradors, spaniels, jack russells, beagles, cats and rabbits. I am currently in university so I am only able to do pet sitting during the holidays. About: I’ve lived with and looked after many pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits and other small animals. I regularly look after my friends dogs, cats and other small pets. I have a passion for dogs and although I don’t currently have my own I regularly walk dogs daily with friends and/or family. I’ve helped train puppies and also spent time caring for elder dogs. “Having needed to get my greyhound Rummy in somewhere for the weekend whilst I was away, I could not have been more lucky that Kane was available. After having never boarded Rummy in someone else's home I was a bit anxious but after conversing with Kane and then taking Rummy and seeing where he was staying those worries evaporated. Rummy settled in straight away. Kane kept me updated a couple of times a day and asked what my preference would be for the number of updates which I thought was very kind. When picking Rummy up he was pleased to see me but I could tell he'd had a great time. I have a very content dog and will 100% be using Kane in the future.”
