We have a fully enclosed garden and also have some lovely places to walk. While you’re away, we offer your dog a holiday of their own, a real home from home. We’ll send regular photos to assure you that they are safe and happy, so that you can enjoy your time away.Apart from overnight boarding we also offer doggy day care. I’m retired so at home to take care of your dog’s every needs. We’re able to adjust our activities to accommodate your pet without too much trouble. We live in a bungalow so no stairs to contend with. Fully enclosed rear garden. It’s a real home from home for your precious pet.

“Shane has been amazing with our Shar Pei, Luna. He made both her and us welcome from the start with our initial home visit and then her subsequent stay with him. It was her first time staying away from us and her home and all the time we were away Shane messaged and sent photos and videos of Luna regularly and we have to say she certainly looked very happy, comfortable and like she wasn’t missing us too much!!🤣 Shane was happy for us to message him too to see how she was as he knew we were worried as it was her first time away from home! She can be quite picky with her food but Shane said she was eating well which was so reassuring too. When we went to collect her we knew how much she loved Shane because she kept going to him for cuddles too before we left 😊 She has settled in well back at home and that tells us that she obviously felt at home with him and that not much had changed for her - she more or less has the run of our house and she did with Shane too. We cannot recommend him highly enough. He’s a lovely caring guy who obviously loves the dogs he cares for and treats them as his own 😊 Shane’s little boy was brilliant with Luna too. Growing up with dogs taught me not just how to love them, but how to understand their needs, routines, and personalities. I work full-time, but my hours are slightly flexible and depending on location I am able to leave at lunch for a drop-in, my weekends are also very flexible. I understand that pets feel safest when their schedule stays familiar, so I carefully follow feeding times and any specific care guidelines provided.
About: With over five years of experience in looking after all kinds of animals as well as growing up in a house full of animals I am now available to look after furry friends whilst back home from university. Whilst my experience is mainly in the realms of dogs, cats, horses, hamsters and guinea pigs I have also looked after rabbits, birds and even a tortoise! About: I’ve had dogs in my life since I can remember, my parents were always into bigger dogs and I’ve grown up around all sorts of animals, I’ve had horses, chickens, dogs, cats, rats and smaller animals. I’ve also looked after birds of prey and farm animals. Nothing will put me off and No breed of dog will put me off! When I left home I got my own dog she was a rescue in need of help she was a bull mastiff and she was a bag of bones, she didn’t even know how to use the stairs, I trained her got the weight back on her and also taught her how to get along with my horses. She was the most caring loving dog I ever had if anything she helped me with my anxiety. Sadly she’s gone now but I would love to be able to help others with their pets so they are cared and loved while your away I’m currently not working full time at the moment to have loads of free time to be able to fit in a schedule that will work round you I have a fenced off garden, loads of walking routes around my area, I can help with training if needed. I do have a cat in the house but she just keeps herself to herself
About: I’ve taken care of dogs, and cats, since the young age of 6. I am trustworthy, gentle and reliable and will love your pet like they’re my own. I have taken care of family and friends dogs as well as my own and love more than anything to make every fluffy friend feel loved and safe. I currently work weekdays at a local cattery, with a large 4 hour break in between from 12-4 which I would love to fill with dog walks and drop-ins! I am free most weekends for house stays for the more nervous pups who feel safest in their own environments. About: Since I was 7 years old my mum was a dog breeder and so I have always been surrounded by dogs. This included years of dog walking, grooming, taking care of puppies as well as our senior dogs. When I was 17 I got a job at a dog kennel where I gave dogs their medications, walked them daily, cleaned and gave them all the fuss and love I could! I now have two dogs, a poodle and a cocker spaniel who I love with all of my heart! I am currently working self employed as a massage therapist, lash tech and cleaner. I understand some degree of animal behaviour but wish to further this in the future. I honestly do believe, dogs make the world a better place! I am currently 3 days a week in king Lynn as a veterinary nurse. I am happy to work around shifts and find days/hours that suit both people. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t be able to care for any pets at my residence. Hopefully would be able to in the future when I have my own place.

“Shane has been amazing with our Shar Pei, Luna. He made both her and us welcome from the start with our initial home visit and then her subsequent stay with him. It was her first time staying away from us and her home and all the time we were away Shane messaged and sent photos and videos of Luna regularly and we have to say she certainly looked very happy, comfortable and like she wasn’t missing us too much!!🤣 Shane was happy for us to message him too to see how she was as he knew we were worried as it was her first time away from home! She can be quite picky with her food but Shane said she was eating well which was so reassuring too. When we went to collect her we knew how much she loved Shane because she kept going to him for cuddles too before we left 😊 She has settled in well back at home and that tells us that she obviously felt at home with him and that not much had changed for her - she more or less has the run of our house and she did with Shane too. We cannot recommend him highly enough. He’s a lovely caring guy who obviously loves the dogs he cares for and treats them as his own 😊 Shane’s little boy was brilliant with Luna too. We’ll definitely be booking Luna to stay again though we think we’re going to have to book well in advance!🤣 Thanks again guys you’ve been fab. Luna sends a big sloppy kiss!!🤣 Bev & Jon 😊😊”

“This was an emergency booking. Charlotte suggested bringing Molly the day before for a sniff around and to meet us. Molly is an anxious dog and Charlotte gave her the time and space to explore. From the moment I took Molly into Charlotte’s home I felt reassured. She created a little area for Molly with her cushion, blanket and toys. There was also water available. Molly was happy to stay with her which was a relief. I got lots of updates and she clearly had a lovely time. Charlotte was so sensitive to Molly’s needs and didn’t put any pressure on her to do things she didn’t want to do. Over the two days Molly really grew in confidence. Molly has also had pancreatitis and Charlotte both understood and was prepared to give her painkillers if needed. I cannot thank Charlotte enough for the great care she showed Molly and would highly recommend her.”
