About: Hey, I’m Elly! I absolutely adore dogs. I had a beautiful Yorkie for 16 years, who sadly passed a few years ago, and still have such a soft spot for all dogs! As a family, we have lots of experience in caring from puppies to senior dogs. We have two kind, gentle children aged 4 and 6, so it’s important that any dog is friendly and comfortable around young kids. I look forward to caring for your fur babies! 🐾❤️ I work from home full time, so having a dog for company during the day would be lovely. I go for long walks over the meadows on my lunch break, and we have a big garden that’s perfect for playing ball. We’re a very outdoorsy family who spend weekends out on walks and little hikes — a dog would fit right in. We have a large fenced garden for your dog to explore, and we have lots of local walks and parks for your fur baby. All sitting will be done at our home.

About: Animal lover who is a fur mum to a 7 month old border collie puppy and a hamster. I have been around animals all of my life and successfully trained my puppy commands and not to react to other dogs. Katherine welcomed her with open arms and took such good care of her, taking her on daily walks, letting her sleep on the beds and couches, making sure she had her medication and giving her space and cuddles when needed. We’re a couple in our 20s who absolutely love dogs. 🐶 Although we don’t currently have a dog of our own, we’ve both grown up around dogs from a young age, so we’re very comfortable and confident caring for them. Between us, we’ve had experience with Jack Russells, Yorkshire Terriers and Spaniels, so we know that every dog has their own personality, quirks and needs. We both work full-time during the week, which is why we thought Rover would be the perfect way for us to spend time with some lovely furry friends when we can give them our full attention. We know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your dog with someone you trust, so we’ll always take the time to get to know you and your dog, understand their routine and make sure they feel happy and settled in our care. Whether they love long walks, lots of cuddles, playing in the garden or simply having someone around, we’re happy to work around what makes them happiest ❤️ We both work full-time Monday to Friday, so we’re mainly looking to welcome dogs from Friday evening through to Sunday. We’re available for drop-offs from 5pm on Fridays, giving us the whole weekend to spend plenty of time with your pup, whether that’s walks, playtime or just lots of company and cuddles. Dogs can stay with us Friday and Saturday night, with collection on Sunday. We’re flexible with Sunday pick-up times and are happy to work around you where we can. Our weekends are when we can give your dog our full attention and plenty of one-to-one time, which is exactly what we’re hoping to offer through Rover. A safe and comfortable home 🐾 We’re based in Godmanchester and live in a comfortable 2-bedroom terraced home with a secure, fully fenced garden. We will make sure we understand your pups likes and dislikes. We also love getting out for walks and have some lovely routes nearby, from fields and quiet paths to plenty of open green space. We’d also love to find dog-friendly places and activities to enjoy together over the weekend. Most importantly, we want your dog to feel safe, settled and at home while they’re with us.

About: I have dog sat in other people's houses previously, I have walked my own and other people's dogs, I have done puppy training and I am currently at a university diploma level of my animal degree but am working towards my bachelors, which includes dog training. I have had animals my whole life and know the signs to look for stress etc. I am a student and rover was recommended by an old friend I am currently a student so many people refuse to hire me but I am happy to watch animals while at home I will provide walking, and enrichment as well as water, I have some generic dog food but if you have specifics to feed the dog feel free to bring that with you.

About: I am a patient, caring and experienced sitter and dog walker. I will look after your dog/dogs as if they were my own. I can do some light training with them, including confidence building. I am able to administer medication and I will provide lots of walks, play and cuddles. I spent three and a half years working at a local animal rescue, looking after the stray dogs. After that, I worked at a local doggy daycare for two and a half years. I then worked at a local dog groomers and now just do boarding and walking. I have taken a doggy first aid course and have plenty of experience and am confident walking and caring for reactive and nervous dogs. I have also taken care of, and fostered, dogs with separation anxiety. DBS checked, Licenced (AW107) and insured. I am a full time dog boarder and dog walker so I am about most of the time. Dogs will get plenty of walks and playtime with me and my friendly Chihuahua. Dogs in my care will be treated like my own and allowed on sofas and in bed with me at night if need be! My garden is fully enclosed with six foot fences.
