About: Animal lover who is a fur mum to a 7 month old border collie puppy and a hamster. I have been around animals all of my life and successfully trained my puppy commands and not to react to other dogs. As a family, we have lots of experience in caring from puppies to senior dogs. We have two kind, gentle children aged 4 and 6, so it’s important that any dog is friendly and comfortable around young kids. Katherine welcomed her with open arms and took such good care of her, taking her on daily walks, letting her sleep on the beds and couches, making sure she had her medication and giving her space and cuddles when needed. She sent me regular updates about Hayley so I had peace of mind that she was settling in and enjoying her time with her temporary new family. When it was time to fetch her she looked sad to leave! “This is the first time we have used a sitter for our four cats 3 of which are over 15 years old. Alison came for a meet and greet before the booking, and our cats took to Alison right away (which is unusual for a couple of them). We booked Alison to come 3 times while we were away we also had a cat cam to keep an eye on them as well, just in case Alison had not seen them. One of our cats was sick, we messaged Alison to go and check the cats and asked her to clean it up as with the heat it would not have waited until her next visit. Alison went in and clean it up for us - nothing has been too much for her she has a lovely personality and all of our cats really took to her. We defiantly will be using Alison again - would have given her 10 stars - would highly recommend Alison”

Before adopting Kika I spent many years pet sitting through BorrowMyDoggy and Trusted Housesitters - looking after dogs of various ages and sizes, cats, and even chickens. I grew up with cats so have experience looking after all ages from young kittens through to senior and blind. In the week I work mostly from home, so for house sitting I just need somewhere to work from my laptop. My work is quite flexible, so I have plenty of time for lots of fussing and a couple of walks during the day. Depending on your pets routine, I often start the day with a longer walk before breakfast, and then a number of toilet breaks throughout the day with a short walk at lunch time. I am sometimes also able to take dogs for boarding, but my own rescue dog would need to meet them and be comfortable with them first. For housesitting I will respect your usual routine for minimal disruption to your pet, feeding and giving any medication at times they are used to, and accommodate their usual walks, garden access, sleeping arrangement etc.

I had my own schnauzer from the time he was six months old until he passed away at age 12, giving me years of hands-on experience with a dog’s daily care, routines, and companionship. I'm not currently working so I'll have plenty of time to play with your dog! I am available for boarding everyday, including weekends. About: I have grown up with animals in my home my entire life and have always been passionate about working with them - I have achieved my level 3 Animal Management Diploma, where I have gained knowledge in various types of animal care and first aid - I am also studying Veterinary Nursing at university, further developing my skills in animal health, welfare and handling. - I currently work part time in dog kennels giving me hands on experience caring for a variety of dogs. - I have experience with different animals like cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, rats and reptiles - I can provide your animal with a routine, administer medications and handle nervous pets I currently work part time, 3 days a week in dog boarding kennels from 9am - 1pm. Outside these hours, I am free to care for your pets! I am available on weekdays after 1pm and on weekends, so I have plenty of time to provide your animals with exercise, attention and care. I aim to follow your pet's usual routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I always prioritise safety, whether we are out on walks or relaxing at home. I will ensure your pet has constant access to fresh water, is fed according to your instructions, and receives plenty of care, attention and affection.
About: I am a patient, caring and experienced sitter and dog walker. I will look after your dog/dogs as if they were my own. I can do some light training with them, including confidence building. I am able to administer medication and I will provide lots of walks, play and cuddles. I spent three and a half years working at a local animal rescue, looking after the stray dogs. After that, I worked at a local doggy daycare for two and a half years. I then worked at a local dog groomers and now just do boarding and walking. I have taken a doggy first aid course and have plenty of experience and am confident walking and caring for reactive and nervous dogs. I have also taken care of, and fostered, dogs with separation anxiety. DBS checked, Licenced (AW107) and insured. I am a full time dog boarder and dog walker so I am about most of the time. Dogs will get plenty of walks and playtime with me and my friendly Chihuahua. Dogs in my care will be treated like my own and allowed on sofas and in bed with me at night if need be! My garden is fully enclosed with six foot fences.

I'm confident and comfortable keeping hold of larger dogs who might pull or want to say hello to every dog they see, so if yours needs a firm, calm hand on the lead, that's no problem. At home I share my life with Dolly, my cockapoo, and Percy, my cat, so I understand multi pet households and know how to read a dog's body language. I've got a fenced garden and front gate for safe off lead time, and I send regular photo and message updates throughout the stay so you're never left wondering how things are going. When house sitting, I keep to your normal routine as closely as possible, dogs settle best when things stay familiar, and I'm confident and capable keeping hold of larger or stronger dogs on the lead if we're out and about and need to stay in control around distractions.

About: I have cared for two dogs for 18 years of my life - a Jack Russel named Ralph and a Collie cross Lab named Martha. When I was 16, obtained a Level 3 qualification in Animal Management at Shuttleworth College. Here, I acquired husbandry skills for a wide range of animals such as reptiles and exotics to goats and wallabies. I graduated from the University of Lincoln this year with a first class with honours degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. I cared for and trained several dogs through the university. I further worked full time at a Doggy Day Care for 4 months - walking all breeds and sizes!! Currently, I am studying MSc Clinical Animal Behaviour at Lincoln, with hopes of becoming an accredited clinical animal behaviourist. I am currently completing this Masters by attending lectures every Monday and Tuesday. I am looking to work between Wednesdays and Fridays as this best fits my study schedule. Within an owner’s home, I will follow all instructions provided, keeping their pets in a safe environment at all times and only using positive reinforcement techniques.

About: I have lots of hands on experience caring for dogs through having my own Border Collie. He is a big part of our family, so I understand how important it is for dogs to feel safe, comfortable and cared for when they are away from their owners. I’m used to daily walks, feeding routines, playtime, cuddles and keeping a close eye on a dog’s behaviour and needs. I’m patient, caring and responsible, and I know that every dog has their own personality and routine. I also have a cat at home, so I would always discuss this with owners beforehand to make sure their dog is comfortable around cats and that the arrangement is suitable for everyone. I’m available for dog boarding mainly at weekends, during school holidays and half-term breaks. I’m flexible and will always discuss availability with you before accepting a booking. I’m happy to provide a calm, loving home-from-home environment where your dog can feel comfortable, included and well cared for. I have a secure, enclosed garden and a loving family home where your dog can become part of the family during their stay. I live with my husband and two teenage boys, as well as our own dog and our cat. My husband works from home, so he may be around during your dog’s stay, but I will be solely responsible for their care and supervision. I understand that every dog is different and will take the time to understand their personality, routine and individual needs. I’ll follow their usual feeding instructions and provide plenty of supervision, affection and enrichment. Your dog’s safety, comfort and happiness will always be my priority, and I’ll make sure introductions are handled carefully and at a pace that suits each individual dog.
