“This was our first time using Rover. Jill and her family took our 7 month old Lab (Toffee) into their home for 6 days. Jill provided regular updates with photographs while we were away, allowing us to enjoy our holiday in the knowledge that Toffee was in very safe and loving hands. We couldn't rate Jill highly enough.”

About: I have been caring for dogs of all kinds since I was 14 years old. Neighbors, friends, and family regularly rely on my help when it comes to pet sitting, feeding, and taking dogs for long, active walks. In 2021, I gained experience working at a dog daycare for six months, where I learned how to manage groups of dogs and care for their diverse needs. I have experience with both energetic puppies and senior dogs. I treat every pet individually, prioritizing their safety and well-being. Dogs are my passion, and spending time with them brings me genuine joy. Unfortunately, I don't currently have any pets. I would like to have a dog in the future but I can't afford it right now. I am currently studing, which allows me to be very flexible with my schedule. I attend classes only on Fridays and Saturdays, so I am fully available to care for your pets from Sunday to Thursday. I am dedicated to my personal growth and treat pet sitting with great responsibility, ensuring I have plenty of time for walks, play, and proper care throughout the week. Safety and trust are my top priorities. When caring for pets, I ensure a secure and calm environment tailored to their needs. I am a person who constantly learns and develops new skills to provide the best possible care. Whether in my home or yours, I maintain a strict routine, keep a close eye on the animals at all times, and make sure they feel comfortable and loved while their owners are away. If I am carrying for owners dogs I usually send pictures every single day to show that their pupils are safe and happy.

About: Whether it’s early morning walks, cozy cuddle sessions, or just being a calm and consistent presence, I believe every pet deserves love, respect, and a safe environment. I pay close attention to their needs, love learning about animal behavior, and always treat them like part of the family. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a wagging tail or hearing a happy purr! Pet care is a natural and essential part of my daily routine. I start my mornings by feeding and spending quality time with my pet—whether that’s a walk, playtime, or just some quiet bonding. I build my schedule around their needs, including regular exercise, grooming, and vet check-ups. Even during busy weeks, I make sure to carve out time for interaction and enrichment, because I believe pets thrive on consistency, love, and attention. They’re not just animals—they’re family. I care for pets with the same love and attention I give my own. Whether in my home or the pet owner's, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment. I follow feeding routines, provide fresh water, ensure regular exercise and playtime, and offer plenty of affection. If I’m in the owner’s home, I respect their space and stick to the pet’s usual schedule to reduce stress. I also send regular updates and photos to keep owners reassured and connected while they’re away.

From the beginning I will want to get to know your pet so I will spend time bonding with them, playing, talking and keeping them company. I know that pets like consistency so I will stay close to their normal routine which I will ensure I fully understand by asking for clear instructions from you. This includes knowing feeding times, portion sizes and any dietary needs and health requirements, where and when they are walked and their comfort toys and sleeping habits. I will add details of your vet to my pet plan should a medical emergency arise. If your pet uses your garden I will check that the gate is closed and the fences are secure before letting them out and I will then supervise and clean up their mess. I will send you regular updates and photos and of course report anything of concern immediately. I appreciate that it's not only your pet that I am responsible for but also your home which I will do my best to keep clean and tidy and follow any house rules that you give me.
“Hannah is definitely 5 stars! I am so happy I found her on this site. I have a huge 60kg Cane Corso called Kodak, so he is very strong and powerful (sorry Hannah lol). Nonetheless, Hannah is not phased by his weight and size and I feel very confident in Hannah’s ability to look after my boy. Hannah is sensible and makes the right choices for Kodak - for example, I live quite rural and my dog walks are on farms, Hannah uses her judgement on whether to let my boy off the lead or not and makes the correct choice dependent on whether there are other dog walkers and dogs (Kodak does not like other dogs at times). Hannah is always on time (earlier to have a chat with me about Kodak) and on their half an hour walk today, Hannah gave him an extra 10 minutes! Very grateful for that, thank you Hannah! Kodak took to Hannah straight away, wanting strokes from her and pressing up against her. He likes Hannah which gives me great peace of mind. I am definitely using Hannah again! Thanks so much Hannah. Love Ashleigh and Kodak. X”

About: I’m an experienced in-your-home pet and house-sitter (day and night) - which I enjoy and love to do at the same time! Read on to find out more about me and see if I’m a good match for you :) I’ve been lucky to have pets to love and care for all my life and having a pet is something I really miss (I can't have a pet of my own due to where I live). After taking early retirement I'm just not ready to slow down and this means I have loads of time and love to give to your pets! I find the love and affection from animals so rewarding which is why in the absence of my own I decided to become a pet-sitter - starting out with sitting for friends and family and expanding from there. I've always had dogs - and many other pets along the way like cats, rabbits, hamsters, budgies and lots of tropical fish! Two of my most beloved dogs were rescues. I've had Corgis, German Shepherds, Labradors and mixed breeds. I now have a delightful - and cheeky - Mini Dachshund “grand-pup”! I’ve cared for many dog breeds (Springers, Cockers, Lurchers, Bichon Frise, Mini Poodles, Chihuahuas, Yorkshire Terriers, Collies, Podencos, Dachshunds and more!) and many with different needs - young, old, small, large, cross-breed, rescue, pedigree and those with medical conditions and special and / or senior needs. I’ve also looked after many cats (indoor and outdoor) and other pets. I’d love you to check out my photo gallery of my own precious pets and those that I’ve cared for. I have no work commitments but I do the occasional craft fair and enjoy visiting friends and family. I have lots of availability throughout the whole week. I offer pet sitting for the day, evenings and overnight. I’m an in-your-home pet-sitter, I will travel to you and look after your pet in your home - and also look after your home at the same time. I can ensure your dog gets lots of stimulation and movement within your home space and garden. I will never leave your dog alone in your home unless you specify that this is OK and normal for them. I know how hard it can be to trust someone with your beloved pet and know very well how special and very unique the needs of pets can be - I want to reassure you there is no silly request or need I won’t understand. With lots of house-sitting under my belt, I pride myself in how I treat other’s homes and precious things like their pets and home security. I am happy to spend time introducing myself and getting to know you and your pets and to travel to you. I am flexible to your needs and how you like communication to be - happy to follow all guidelines and requirements for your pets and home and to send you updates and photos as regularly as you’d like. About: My experience goes beyond simply walking and feeding. I've worked with dogs who have behavioral challenges and understand the importance of reading body language, building trust, and creating a calm, positive environment. Every dog is different, and I take the time to learn what makes each one feel safe, comfortable, and happy. Over the years, I've also cared for friends' and family's dogs during vacations and extended stays, giving them the same love, attention, and routine they receive at home. In addition, volunteering at my local Humane Society gave me hands-on experience working with dogs from many different backgrounds, temperaments, and energy levels, further strengthening my confidence and adaptability. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can completely trust. I know they're family, and I treat every dog in my care with the same patience, affection, and respect I'd want for my own. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, quiet companionship, or simply sticking to their routine, I'm committed to providing reliable, attentive care and making sure they feel loved while you're away. My goal isn't just to watch your dog—it's to make them feel at home and give you complete peace of mind. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I currently have a flexible schedule, allowing me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. This flexibility means I can accommodate walks, playtime, feedings, medication schedules, and lots of one-on-one companionship throughout the day. During the week, I don't have access to my own vehicle, so I primarily accept bookings that are within walking distance or accessible by public transportation. On weekends, I do have access to a car, which gives me greater flexibility for bookings that are farther away. I always communicate clearly with pet owners about availability and transportation to ensure we're a great fit before confirming a booking. No matter the day, when I'm caring for your pet, my priority is providing dependable, attentive care and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I treat every dog as if they were my own and am committed to giving them the same care and routine they're used to at home. When caring for your pet, my top priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I know that every dog has their own unique routine, preferences, and personality, so I take the time to learn exactly how you care for them at home and do my best to maintain that same routine while you're away. Keeping their schedule consistent helps reduce stress and allows them to feel right at home. I treat every dog as if they were my own, giving them plenty of love, attention, playtime, and companionship throughout their stay. Whether your pup enjoys long walks, relaxing on the couch, or playing with their favorite toys, I'll make sure they receive the care and attention they deserve. f approved by you, I also love spoiling pups with healthy treats and extra enrichment. For longer stays, I enjoy taking dogs on fun adventures that match their personality and energy level, such as visits to the dog park, the beach, scenic walking trails, or other pet-friendly outings. Of course, every outing is discussed with and approved by you beforehand, and your dog's safety and comfort always come first. My goal is for your dog to feel happy, cared for, and loved while you're away—and for you to have complete peace of mind knowing they're in caring, reliable hands.
