“Our dog Archie has very special needs. He is 12 years old and nearly blind and also has diabetes which means giving him two insulin injections a day at certain times. We were going away for two weeks over Christmas and we didn’t know where he could go. We found Shirley-Ann though Rover. We had a meet and greet and we immediately knew he was going to be well looked after. We took him again before the holiday so Shirley-Ann could do the injection. All though the holiday we had daily updates, pictures and videos on what he was doing. Shirley-Ann and her husband John even took him with them when they went out Christmas Day. For 15 years I ran a smallholding with goats, pigs, sheep and various types of poultry and also farm sat on a regular basis at a 100 head goat farm. Experienced in milking and kidding. About: I have always taken care of animals for the most part of my life; growing up with a cat and two dogs. I absolutely love animals and this has been noticed by family and friends who have hired me to look after their furry family members whilst they have been away for shorter and longer periods of time. The longest being a two-week holiday where I was to stay at their house to look after 4 cats and to make sure one of the cats took a daily medication. This was highly successful, creating a close bond with the cats and she then hired me on the regular for several holidays and trips to come. The whole process of feeding, walking, and playing is an absolutely delight to me and I would love to keep your pet/s company! Saturday, and Sunday I am completely free day and night. On Monday I am free from 6 pm onwards. Friday evenings I can also do 7 pm onwards depending on location. I would always start by arranging to meet you and your pet/s first, I believe it is important to be properly introduced to your furry family member and to understand their routine and any special requirements which I need to be made aware of. I believe this is a great opportunity to gather any information I may need and also any emergency numbers to be saved on my phone. I will take the time to get to know your pet, I will be patient and allow them to get to know me too! Keeping an eye on the surroundings is paramount, making sure the environment is clear from obstructions and I will be sure to be vigilant and to keep you updated at all times.

Mature dog experience and experience with simple medication. I currently have no dog right now so can provide single dog care for a dog that does not wish to compete for company! About: Ive walked dogs since I was very small. My mother did this as a younger woman before me, so the skill was always around us! I've had my own reactive rescue that absolutely hated other dogs, and have lived with very large reactive dogs and ones with severe anxiety issues. At this point theres very little that can phase me! I have a small work from home part time job, so Im avalible very often, only needing a short while around 3pm each day to get my daughter from school! About: I’ve had dogs in my life since I can remember, my parents were always into bigger dogs and I’ve grown up around all sorts of animals, I’ve had horses, chickens, dogs, cats, rats and smaller animals. I’ve also looked after birds of prey and farm animals. Nothing will put me off and No breed of dog will put me off! When I left home I got my own dog she was a rescue in need of help she was a bull mastiff and she was a bag of bones, she didn’t even know how to use the stairs, I trained her got the weight back on her and also taught her how to get along with my horses. She was the most caring loving dog I ever had if anything she helped me with my anxiety. Sadly she’s gone now but I would love to be able to help others with their pets so they are cared and loved while your away I’m currently not working full time at the moment to have loads of free time to be able to fit in a schedule that will work round you I have a fenced off garden, loads of walking routes around my area, I can help with training if needed. About: Growing up around animals I have gained experience in loving for horses, dogs, cats, reptiles and many more! I used to own two lovely girl rats (Luna and CC) and now I have a 1 year old puppy named Finn! I am keen to transfer my animal loving nature towards your furry (or otherwise) children! In my early years I owned a lovely pony called Rio, which involved early mornings and late nights of TLC. I own my own vehicle as well as a range of dog seat belt sizes, so if your dog enjoys time at the beach or would just enjoy some new scenery I can accommodate that too! No ask is too much! I work part time Wednesday to Saturday 9-5:30 so anything before or after those hours works great! Monday, Tuesday and Sunday I am fully flexible for you! Due to me and partner having small animals in my home for your pets safety and theirs I am only able to pet sit over night in your home, or if your animal is okay being on their own, and you just need me to pop by for potty breaks, walks or feeding/medication, I can do that too!
