“Shane has been amazing with our Shar Pei, Luna. He made both her and us welcome from the start with our initial home visit and then her subsequent stay with him. It was her first time staying away from us and her home and all the time we were away Shane messaged and sent photos and videos of Luna regularly and we have to say she certainly looked very happy, comfortable and like she wasn’t missing us too much!!🤣 Shane was happy for us to message him too to see how she was as he knew we were worried as it was her first time away from home! She can be quite picky with her food but Shane said she was eating well which was so reassuring too. When we went to collect her we knew how much she loved Shane because she kept going to him for cuddles too before we left 😊 She has settled in well back at home and that tells us that she obviously felt at home with him and that not much had changed for her - she more or less has the run of our house and she did with Shane too. We cannot recommend him highly enough. He’s a lovely caring guy who obviously loves the dogs he cares for and treats them as his own 😊 Shane’s little boy was brilliant with Luna too. We’ll definitely be booking Luna to stay again though we think we’re going to have to book well in advance!🤣 Thanks again guys you’ve been fab. Luna sends a big sloppy kiss!!🤣 Bev & Jon 😊😊”

“This was an emergency booking. Charlotte suggested bringing Molly the day before for a sniff around and to meet us. Molly is an anxious dog and Charlotte gave her the time and space to explore. From the moment I took Molly into Charlotte’s home I felt reassured. She created a little area for Molly with her cushion, blanket and toys. There was also water available. Molly was happy to stay with her which was a relief. I got lots of updates and she clearly had a lovely time. Charlotte was so sensitive to Molly’s needs and didn’t put any pressure on her to do things she didn’t want to do. Over the two days Molly really grew in confidence. Molly has also had pancreatitis and Charlotte both understood and was prepared to give her painkillers if needed. I cannot thank Charlotte enough for the great care she showed Molly and would highly recommend her.”

About: I’ve had two cats for four years now and they are house cats , I love spending time with them. I have previously owned a staffy (dog) named daisy who I regularly took out for walks and fed. I myself go on walks daily so I would love to help someone out if their pets need walking :) I think it’s very important for pets to receive some good playtime and loving which I would love to provide for them when the owner is unable to do so. I will walk pets in evenings/weekends depending on the size and activity level of the pet. I am happy to look after cats at my home too and invest in toys for them. About: I’ve had dogs in my home my entire life and have always been actively involved in their daily care. Growing up with dogs taught me not just how to love them, but how to understand their needs, routines, and personalities. Whether your dog is high-energy and playful or prefers quiet cuddles, I’m patient, responsible, and genuinely love spending time with animals. I treat every dog like part of the family. I work full-time, but my hours are slightly flexible and depending on location I am able to leave at lunch for a drop-in, my weekends are also very flexible. When caring for pets, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent, comfortable, and stress-free as possible. I understand that pets feel safest when their schedule stays familiar, so I carefully follow feeding times and any specific care guidelines provided.
About: With over five years of experience in looking after all kinds of animals as well as growing up in a house full of animals I am now available to look after furry friends whilst back home from university. Whilst my experience is mainly in the realms of dogs, cats, horses, hamsters and guinea pigs I have also looked after rabbits, birds and even a tortoise! I have had plenty of work experience through my degree in veterinary practices allowing me to handle medications as needed and keep an eye on any more senior animals as well, with which I aim to give owners some peace of mind as I completely understand how daunting it can feel when a pet has health issues and to trust someone else to monitor these. With a car and full clean driving licence I would be more than happy to take your pets to safe local areas or walk them from your home. Which ever you would prefer and they would be more comfortable with!
About: I have taken care of friend’s dogs for years and had the joy of getting my own last year. I’ve also tried to be helpful to local organisations when I can. When I left home I got my own dog she was a rescue in need of help she was a bull mastiff and she was a bag of bones, she didn’t even know how to use the stairs, I trained her got the weight back on her and also taught her how to get along with my horses. She was the most caring loving dog I ever had if anything she helped me with my anxiety. Sadly she’s gone now but I would love to be able to help others with their pets so they are cared and loved while your away I’m currently not working full time at the moment to have loads of free time to be able to fit in a schedule that will work round you I have a fenced off garden, loads of walking routes around my area, I can help with training if needed. I do have a cat in the house but she just keeps herself to herself

About: I’ve grown up around a range of different animals and have my own Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and British Shorthair cat, so I understand caring for both playful puppies/ kittens and also older dogs/ cats needing gentle handling. “Shane has been amazing with our Shar Pei, Luna. He made both her and us welcome from the start with our initial home visit and then her subsequent stay with him. It was her first time staying away from us and her home and all the time we were away Shane messaged and sent photos and videos of Luna regularly and we have to say she certainly looked very happy, comfortable and like she wasn’t missing us too much!!🤣 Shane was happy for us to message him too to see how she was as he knew we were worried as it was her first time away from home! She can be quite picky with her food but Shane said she was eating well which was so reassuring too. When we went to collect her we knew how much she loved Shane because she kept going to him for cuddles too before we left 😊 She has settled in well back at home and that tells us that she obviously felt at home with him and that not much had changed for her - she more or less has the run of our house and she did with Shane too. We cannot recommend him highly enough. He’s a lovely caring guy who obviously loves the dogs he cares for and treats them as his own 😊 Shane’s little boy was brilliant with Luna too. “This was an emergency booking. Charlotte suggested bringing Molly the day before for a sniff around and to meet us. Molly is an anxious dog and Charlotte gave her the time and space to explore. From the moment I took Molly into Charlotte’s home I felt reassured. She created a little area for Molly with her cushion, blanket and toys. There was also water available. Molly was happy to stay with her which was a relief. I got lots of updates and she clearly had a lovely time. Charlotte was so sensitive to Molly’s needs and didn’t put any pressure on her to do things she didn’t want to do. Over the two days Molly really grew in confidence. Molly has also had pancreatitis and Charlotte both understood and was prepared to give her painkillers if needed. I cannot thank Charlotte enough for the great care she showed Molly and would highly recommend her.”
