About: I have been around dogs since I was little. I have trained my own dogs and have looked after puppies to highly trained gun dogs! I’m currently on my gap year so have plenty of time to devote to treating your pet like my own! I’m available most weekend days and am fairly flexible in the week. About: We have a large fenced garden and a cosy home and your dogs will be treated as part of our family during their stay. I understand the importance of routine, especially when dogs are in a new environment, and will ensure they are cared for exactly as you request with plenty of photo updates throughout the stay. About: My experience of cats is extensive, with my parents having 4 of their own which I regularly look after. 3 of these we have had from kittens, with the 4th being a rescue. The rescue was incredibly nervous when we first took him in, as such I understand thoroughly how nervous cats can be. Walks are done in quiet woodland or countryside areas where the environment is calm and safe for dachshunds. We will work up to off-lead walks, and I will keep your babies on-lead until we are both comfortable with being off-lead. Once they are off lead, they naturally move in a pack, which means that they stick together. Molly's recall is great, so if I need them back close to me, they will all come together. Having grown up with animals and spent time volunteering in a veterinary clinic when I was younger, I am also comfortable recognising when a dog may be stressed, uncomfortable or unwell. My main approach is to make their stay feel as much like home as possible. I’ll follow your dog’s normal routine, feeding times, sleeping arrangements, medication and house rules — even the little quirks that might sound silly to anyone else! If they’re crate-trained, I’m happy to use their crate, and if they’re used to sleeping in bed with someone, they’re welcome to do that too. 🤍 Safety is really important to me. Dogs will always be kept on lead outside of secure areas, I’m cautious around unfamiliar dogs, and I’m particularly attentive to any existing health conditions or changes in behaviour, breathing, eating or general wellbeing. If anything concerns me, however small, I’ll contact you straight away rather than assuming it’s nothing. I’ll also keep you updated as much or as little as you’d like, with regular photos, messages and check-ins so you can relax knowing your dog is safe, settled and being very well looked after. 🐾

During the day, you dog will never be left for more than two hours. They layout of our house is slightly different, with the living area being on the first floor. I’ll follow their normal routine- whether that’s feeding, topping up water, letting them out for a toilet break, or just giving them some company and attention. I always aim to keep things calm and reassuring, especially if a pet is shy or nervous. Every visit is tailored to what your pet needs to feel safe and settled whilst your’re away. I also offer dog walking and home boarding. I’m happy to give your dog a good walk, some company and plenty of fuss, or have them stay with us in a home from home environment whilst your away. I have a fenced garden with two very friendly dogs, a chocolate Labrador and a cocker spaniel. I am confident handling dogs and recognising when they may need extra care or attention

“We have only left Boo with family in the past but due to us getting married in jersey, we needed to find someone to care for boo while we were away. I contacted Beatrice through Rover. We did two meet and greets as they also have a cocker spaniel (who looks like boo only bigger) on the day of dropping boo off, Boo dragged my husband up the garden path.. clearly happy and excited about visiting them again. Beatrice sent me daily updates and photos while we were away and this put me at ease that boo was happy safe and content. Boo clearly loves being with another dog and we learnt that she gets on well with cats too!
