“I have been looking for someone to care for our large dog over the festive period. After speaking to Abby, she suggested an overnight stay. I thought this was a brilliant idea as not only does it make Abby get to know your dog but also gives you the reassurance to know that your dog will be happy.. Abby has been brilliant and our dog loved his stay, the house is situated in a lovely location with a good size garden for any size dog to be able to run around in. She has been attentive and thoughtful throughout and I am definitely booking Abby to have Duke for the time while we are away over New Year, having the confidence and reassurance that he’ll be well looked after. I would highly recommend Abby to anyone and will certainly be telling my friends how lovely she is.”

I’m 23 and have grown up with my own family Labradors and smaller dogs, so I’m comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes, personalities and needs. About: I have take care of cats for many years, as the animals are very independent and determined i prefer to let them rome the house freely and have a constant food / water supply. I also have a cat only room as i do usually have dogs in my home. Rest assured the kittens and cats do not have to come into contact with the dogs and have a climbing, adventurous room to themselves!

Some are extremely high-maintenance, some are incredibly friendly, others are very shy, and three of them have epilepsy and require close monitoring. From being a trainee Vet Nurse, dealing with check ups and consultations, working in a well known Kennels to thriving in an animal University and finishing with an Animal Care Diploma. About: Hi there ! Since my childhood I've had and looked after many animals all shapes and sizes. I consider myself a confident and caring individual who will look after your pet and their needs. I will try my best to be flexible, and am happy to discuss any particular requirements or preferences. I do have a friendly dog aged 2 of my own, so for any stays at my home address I would require a short meet and greet to make sure they get along first. About: I've had dogs in my life since I was born and over the last 20 years have rescued many. From pups to gorgeous oldies, the oldest we rescued was 17. All different sizes and breeds. Dogs are just a magnet to me when I see them, I love them all! I hadn't had a dog since 2023 as I just didn't think I could go through the heartbreak of losing another, after my last lab - they really are part of the family x However, in March, an elderly neighbour had to go into assisted living and couldn't take his beloved dog, so we took on Pixie! Pixie made me realise how much I have been missing out and we love her - such a gentle soul. Pixie is 11 and absolutely guttingly has cancer (and I feel dementia), so she sleeps most of the time, but is in no pain and loves to be with us. The reason for me deciding to become a dogsitter is because Pixie seems to love the company of other dogs and I thought it might be nice for her (and of course me!). Pixie would not want a dog who jumped all over her - but I think it would be lovely for us both! I work from home and have an office in the garden - so we can keep each other company! As well as the fenced garden, we also have 3 acres. We decided to downsize and live in a small but lovely lodge - cosy!! Your baby will be well looked after and I can follow any rules you have, medications needed, etc. They are quite welcome to share the sofa and bed with us (if that is what they are used to), as long as we can fit on too!! It is hard to leave your dog, I know - I've been upset to leave mine that needed it, at the groomers even! I would really want you to come and check us out first and get to know me & Pixie!

I did not set this up at any time, I don't expect Susan did either as she knew it was a one off arrangement.”

The garden is fully secure with 7ft fencing and a locked gate, so dogs can enjoy outdoor time safely. I live on a quiet, secluded street away from main roads, creating a peaceful environment that’s ideal for dogs of all temperaments. The garden is a great size for all breeds, with plenty of room to play, explore, and enjoy a good run around. Large patio doors open directly onto the garden, allowing dogs to move freely between inside and outside when appropriate. They can also be closed to create a calm, cosy space for rest and nap times. Inside, the home is open-plan with plenty of room to relax, along with soft furnishings and lots of toys to keep dogs happy and entertained. For added safety, all human food is kept well out of reach, so you can feel confident your dog is in a secure and carefully managed environment.
About: I grew up in a dog-loving home with an Irish Red Setter rescue and a Doberman we raised from a puppy, so I'm no stranger to big dogs with big personalities. About: I’ve been around dogs and different animals my entire life, from my own pets to working on farms🐶. I’m 23 and have grown up with my own family Labradors and smaller dogs, so I’m comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes, personalities and needs. I’m the person my family and friends rely on to look after their pets when they’re away. I have a Labrador and a small Jack Russell, both of whom are very friendly and love having other dogs around, so I’d just make sure they’re a good match beforehand. We have a fully enclosed back garden with access throughout the day, giving dogs plenty of space to roam, play and get some fresh air. There are also cosy areas around the house for relaxing, with stair gates used where needed to keep everyone safe. Most importantly, I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, affection and care while they’re with me. 🐾
