They were very welcoming when I dropped Otto and Henry off and I left feeling happy and confident that they would be well looked after. Their house is lovely with planty of space for the dogs and a great garden. Carmen snet me losts of videos and photos over the weekend showing Otto and Henry having a great time in the garden and on walks. I could tell when I picked them up theat they'd been well looked after and had got on well with the other dogs. “Having needed to get my greyhound Rummy in somewhere for the weekend whilst I was away, I could not have been more lucky that Kane was available. After having never boarded Rummy in someone else's home I was a bit anxious but after conversing with Kane and then taking Rummy and seeing where he was staying those worries evaporated. Rummy settled in straight away. Kane kept me updated a couple of times a day and asked what my preference would be for the number of updates which I thought was very kind. When picking Rummy up he was pleased to see me but I could tell he'd had a great time. I have a very content dog and will 100% be using Kane in the future.”

About: I've had dogs all my life which have all been an integral part of my family. I've had fur babies of different breeds including Labradors, Scottish terriers, Beagles, Chihuahuas and currently have a puppy who is a Pitt bull mix called Maeva who is my absolute world ! I honestly believe a dog is the most beautiful creature on the planet. I love their individual personalities and their strength to love unconditionally. They bring so much joy and I just love being around them. I have raised all of my dogs from puppies to end of life and trained them all to a high obedience standard whilst still letting them rule the roost and be spoilt rotten. About: I have a 14 year old cat Poppy who is diabetic so I have experience in administering medication via injection and orally. My daughter also has a labrador who I often take care of for her at weekends. I am licensed to board 5 dogs at a time, so your dog needs to be well socialised and toilet trained. All dogs are walked once/twice a day....weather and ability dependant. All dogs are let out into our large secured garden to play, or go to the toilet every hour or so. In the Summer months, the back door is left open, so they can come and go as they please. Their last toilet break is usually around midnight. Your fur baby will become part of our family whilst you are away. There are no favourites in this household, and no forbidden areas. Everyone is treated the same. If Polly goes for a walk, so does your dog. If Polly gets a treat, so does your dog. You can enjoy your time away, knowing that your fur baby will not just be taken care of….they will be loved. Please read my testimonials. Lynn is semi retired and works from home and Paul works nights, so is up and about from lunchtime onwards. There is always at least one of us at home. We have a large private and secure garden where dogs can run and play. Enrichment activities are part of the day and walkies are twice daily. We have a barrier that is placed at the bottom of the stairs and a barrier to contain any dogs whilst we answer the front door.

About: I’ve struggled myself to find the right home to look after my precious boys. I offer a home from home setting where your dog(s) will receive lots of cuddles and lots of playtime. We have two male cockapoos, one of which is of senior age. We have previously had Great Danes (gorgeous breed) and have grown up round a variety of breeds. We have two children age 10 and 13 who have grown up around animals and absolutely love dogs and if your dog wants to run around with smaller humans they’re all for it. I work from home part time so I’m available for cuddles on the sofa and they can play freely with open access to the enclosed garden. We will accommodate so that everything is familiar to what they are used to for example sleeping in the kitchen, sleeping in a bedroom, being on furniture and so forth. About: Myself and my husband are experienced dog owners, and have been around dogs our whole lives. We are happy to consider any dog breed and can handle large or small dogs. We had an Alaskan Malamute weighing 48kgs in her prime, sadly we lost her in August at 14 years old, so no trouble handling big and stubborn breeds! We do have a 14 year old cockerpoo called Alfie who is very tolerant and misses his companion - therefore dogs coming to us must be okay with other dogs. He is neutered. We have a loving family home with husband and wife team and grown up children who are always happy to play with dogs walk, entertain, exercise etc (children are 16, 19, 22 and are dog lovers like us!) We have a large enclosed garden for dogs to roam around in and are a cat free home. Boarding and doggy day care welcome, we often go to the seaside too, so if you pooch likes the beach they'd be welcome to come with us if they can travel in the car okay. Happy to answer any questions, or set up a meet and greet with your furbaby. I work part time 3 days a week and my husband works from home full time, so there is always someone around to keep you dog company and give them the love and care they need. Evenings and weekends we have 3 grown up children that are dog lovers like us, and are more than happy to help keep your dog entertained (children are 22, 19, 16 so not little kids). We have a large secure fenced garden for dogs to roam around in as they please. There is always someone at home. We have a 14 year old cockerpoo who misses his companion who we lost this year. He is a gentlemen. Happy to crate if needed, though we do not have a crate at the moment so this will need to be provided.

About: They say you can tell if somebody is a good person when animals feel safe in their presence... Well, not to blow my own trumpet, but... toot toot! Animals really do seem to love me :-) I think it's because they know that I love them back! I've previously had a dog of my own, and then inherited my mum's dog a few years ago, who I'd bought & trained for my mum in the first place. I trained him off-lead too before giving him to her, so I think he'd always seen me as his real mummy & maybe thought my mum was just his girlfriend, ha! I'm a firm believer in making sure dogs get plenty of outdoor time & exercise- having moved up to Peterborough from London, my dog was previously an apartment dog so was used to being walked at least 3 times a day, and we've continued that up here, even though we have a large garden. I just don't think it's fair to dogs to let them sit indoors all day, so I'm always out walking with my dog, Baby. Family & friends have also always relied on me to take care of their dogs when they've been away, and I regularly meet up with friends & their fur babies for lots of dog socialising & fun. I work from home Monday to Friday until 2pm, which is when I pick up my 13month old daughter from nursery, but the nature of my job means I'm around for lots of cuddles & play throughout the day (even when I'm on Zoom calls!), and regular walks in the morning, at lunch time and in the evenings. I have a fenced garden and a fur baby of my own to keep your fur baby company if needed. My daughter has been around dogs since she was born, so she is used to patting dogs gently & not doing anything to annoy them. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and in any room that I'm in - it's their home too! However, if your dog has a tendency to moult, I'm afraid they won't be allowed on the beds.

I love to walk in nature, so would be able to walk your dog in pretty places, with lots of stimulation :) I currently work from home, so always have time for animals in my care. I am also available at short notice and also at weekends. I have a fenced garden and secure house, so your pet will be safe with me. I dont have a dog crate, so you will need to provide this if required.

Ive looked after family and firends dogs when they have gone on holiday and I have looked after neighbours pets when they have been away. We have a lovely cavalier king charles spaniel. “Having needed to get my greyhound Rummy in somewhere for the weekend whilst I was away, I could not have been more lucky that Kane was available. After having never boarded Rummy in someone else's home I was a bit anxious but after conversing with Kane and then taking Rummy and seeing where he was staying those worries evaporated. Rummy settled in straight away. Kane kept me updated a couple of times a day and asked what my preference would be for the number of updates which I thought was very kind. When picking Rummy up he was pleased to see me but I could tell he'd had a great time. I have a very content dog and will 100% be using Kane in the future.”

About: I have just said farewell to my 15 year old Springer Spaniel and whilst I am not yet ready for a new companion I would love to look after your dog whilst you're on holiday. I recently retired and so available to take care of your dog all day, every day. I am used to walking 5+ miles a day and your pet will get at least 3 walks per say (if required/heat permits) and will be rarely left alone (if Sitting/boarding). I have a fenced garden at the bottom of a quiet cul de sac, and live nearby a large orchard for safe (on lead) walks. Crate and dog bed available and covers on furniture if cuddles are required.
