We had an Alaskan Malamute weighing 48kgs in her prime, sadly we lost her in August at 14 years old, so no trouble handling big and stubborn breeds! I work part time 3 days a week and my husband works from home full time, so there is always someone around to keep you dog company and give them the love and care they need. Evenings and weekends we have 3 grown up children that are dog lovers like us, and are more than happy to help keep your dog entertained (children are 22, 19, 16 so not little kids). We have a large secure fenced garden for dogs to roam around in as they please. There is always someone at home. We have a 14 year old cockerpoo who misses his companion who we lost this year. About: I am a student at Newcastle University and have a part time job. I have always loved animals and have had cats all my life, but my sister got a dog a few years ago (fox red lab called Ned - our pride and joy!) and I have loved looking after him when she goes away. About: I'M BACK! After taking 6 months off to breed and train my next generation of Rhodesian Ridgebacks, I am happy to say that I am available again! I own two dogs, one cat and two horses, some of whom you can see on my profile! I would definitely say that I am an animal person haha! Over the years, I have learnt dog training skills such as how to remedy a dog who pulls on the lead or jumps up. I am experienced in administering medication for both dogs and cats and can even bathe them for you if needed! I am more than happy to do drop-ins for cats to feed and top up their water when needed if you don’t need me to stay over night! If you have any other small pets, I'm more than happy and experienced in looking after them for you whilst you're away (I grew up with mice, rabbits and Giant African Snails)! If you have horses, there is no need to put them into livery either, as I can look after them too when you go away! A bit about myself: I work from home which fits in great with dog sitting, as all I have to do is remember to bring my laptop with me! Don't worry, your pets will get plenty of exercise, socialisation and of course lots of love and care with me! Working from home means I am able to be around your pets all day, as long as I remember to bring my laptop with me! About: I’ve had dogs since I was in primary school and currently own 1 gorgeous border collies after 2 sadly passed away. I’ve had two of my dogs from pups, with Ted now being 9. Bear sadly passed away last year at the age of 15. We also had a Dale, a rescue border collie who came to me badly neglected and abused. About: Hi! I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and being around them is just part of my everyday routine. At home we have two very friendly Eastern European Shepherds, so I’m very used to living with large breeds and helping with feeding, brushing, playtime, and keeping dogs calm and happy. My parents have lots of experience with dogs, and my dad is an IMDT‑qualified puppy instructor, so I’ve learned a lot from being involved in training sessions and understanding different dog personalities.
