About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and have personally owned four cocker spaniels, giving me hands-on experience with energetic, affectionate breeds. I’m confident with walking, feeding, bathing and providing lots of care and reassurance, and I always treat pets like family. Pet care fits well into my weekly routine alongside my uni studies. About: I've grown up around animals from lambs and chickens to dogs and cats. I've also done dog walking for friends and family. Cared for dogs in animal shelters and adoption fairs. I've learnt husbandry care through my current degree in animal science and am constantly in close contact helping dogs into their harnesses and finding treats they enjoy at work in a pet store. I currently work part time and attend uni on Mondays + Tuesdays. Therefore Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays I'm unavailable for the first half of the day but happy to care for your pets in the afternoons as well as mornings during the rest of the week. As my calander follows term times I will be much more available during school holidays. So please don't put of reaching out just to check as I personally know how stressful it can be finding someone during holidays to look after your pet. I want to make you as the owner feel confident and secure and so will require information no matter the service I'll be providing in order to make sure we're all comfortable. Any rules, health issues or precautions that I may need to know I'll ask for and follow securely as no owner wants to worry about their pet or the person looking after them. I'm also more than happy to take photos and update you whenever they're in my care.

Hattie took the dogs for a lovely walk and fed them their lunch. She sent me cute photos and confirmed that they had both peed and pooped. The dogs were in fine fettle when I got home later. Thanks Hattie!

Thank you to Amy (and her kids) for walking our dog Paco while he stayed at my parents in Aylsham. He can be a handful sometimes and difficult with other dogs, but I felt he was in safe hands. Amy sent photos and maps of the routes they had walked. Thank you!

About: Fully Qualified in pet sitting and dog walking. Full DBS has been completed. I have had previous experience working in a Boarding Kennels. I have had several Dogs myself of many different breeds. I also used to train Greyhounds and Whippets within the Racing environment. I set up the business to continue my love of working with animals. But mainly to provide a service that allows Clients to ensure their pets are well looked after when other commitments call. I know how close to us our pets are so clear communication with my Clients on how their pet is doing would be key. I set up Bark 4 the Lead at the beginning of 2024. This is my full time Job so the pets that are boarded here have my full attention throughout the day and night. I offer dog walking which I complete in the morning for a couple of my Clients. I live in a very quiet area down a service track. The property is fenced in with no other pets in the household. I recommend clients to visit with their pets prior to booking so they feel comfortable and reassured.

About: I grew up in a dog-loving home with an Irish Red Setter rescue and a Doberman we raised from a puppy, so I'm no stranger to big dogs with big personalities. Over the years, I've cared for pups of all sizes, breeds, and ages—from energetic puppies to sweet senior dogs. Whether your dog loves long walks, belly rubs, or just someone to keep them company, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, loved, and totally spoiled while you're away. A recent move means I am now taking on new clients in and around Norwich. Please see my reviews and reach out for a chat if I can help to care for your pup! I’m working from home, with plenty of gaps in between for toilet breaks and walks in the park - I like to get away from my desk when I can and would love for your dog to join me. I’ve been house sitting for a number of years, both through Rover (please check my reviews) and word of mouth from my existing clients. I will care for your home as if it is my own. I am happy to discuss carrying out tasks unrelated to your pup, too.

I am very overprotective with my 2 pups and was very anxious to let someone else see to them. Trafford however was amazing! He took my girls out on 3 walks today, he let me know when he finished each walk and double checked with me about things that he didn’t want to assume was okay! Very polite and updated me on my girls throughout the day. Highly recommend and will be using again!

About: I've grown up with dogs + fish. Now I've had 2 beautiful cats for the last 3 years. My partner, who will also help, has grown up with cats/dogs/chickens and more! Between the 2 of us we have 2 dogs and 3 cats currently. I work from home full time in the golden triangle so can easily pop out to check in on pups or kittens😺. My partner works from her salon Tuesday - Friday in fakenham so she can also provide services there if need be. We have a big car so taking big dogs out for a great walk is easy to do! My garden is fenced but only 3ft. Therefore they can use it for toilets etc with me supervising but I'd aim to take your dogs out for nice walks (if they are able to).

About: Hi, I’m Abigail! 🐾 After six years as a police officer, I decided to give up the uniform and follow my passion for dogs, the outdoors, and providing a safe, trustworthy service for pet owners. I provide a calm, secure, and welcoming home where your dog will feel completely at ease. Your dog/s will have constant care, attention, and plenty of affection throughout their stay. I’m home full-time, so your dog’s routine, safety, and happiness are always my priority. I have a large, fully secure garden with 7ft fencing and a locked gate, giving dogs plenty of space to play, explore, and enjoy themselves safely. I share my home with my friendly Irish Setter, Rory, who is gentle, playful, and great with other dogs. He loves company and helps create a relaxed, social environment for visiting dogs. I have extensive experience caring for dogs of all ages — from young puppies to senior dogs — and I’m confident supporting different needs, routines, and personalities. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or prefers a quieter, slower pace, I will adapt to them. I come from a professional background where trust, responsibility, and safety were essential, and I bring that same level of care and attention into looking after every dog. 🐾 What you can expect: * A home-from-home environment * Dogs are never left alone * Secure garden for safe outdoor time * Walks tailored to your dog (on or off lead) * Regular updates, photos, and communication * Flexible and attentive care to suit your dog’s routine I’m very mindful that every dog is different, so I will always follow your instructions closely — from feeding and walking to sleep routines and preferences. I’m happy to care for dogs who may be a little anxious or need extra reassurance — just let me know what helps them feel comfortable. We look forward to welcoming your dog into our home and giving you complete peace of mind ✨ Our calendar is kept up to date daily, and we’re always quick to respond to messages. We’re home seven days a week, so your dog will never be left alone. 🏡 A safe, secure, and relaxed environment My home is spacious and set up to give dogs a calm, safe place to settle in and feel comfortable. The garden is fully secure with 7ft fencing and a locked gate, so dogs can enjoy outdoor time safely. I live on a quiet, secluded street away from main roads, creating a peaceful environment that’s ideal for dogs of all temperaments. The garden is a great size for all breeds, with plenty of room to play, explore, and enjoy a good run around. Large patio doors open directly onto the garden, allowing dogs to move freely between inside and outside when appropriate. They can also be closed to create a calm, cosy space for rest and nap times. Inside, the home is open-plan with plenty of room to relax, along with soft furnishings and lots of toys to keep dogs happy and entertained. For added safety, all human food is kept well out of reach, so you can feel confident your dog is in a secure and carefully managed environment.

About: I’ve looked after and owned my own dogs for the past 18 years, I train working dogs to a high standard and both my labs are super friendly and efficient working dogs, I have a retired police dog and I am part of a police puppy walking scheme where I train puppies until reach a suitable age to undergo full police training, I truly believe dogs are better than people, if you show them the right amount of love and affection in training there is nothing that can not be accomplished with them, there is no stronger bond that a dog and owner and I appreciate how much a dog can mean to a person so I will care for your dog as if was my own. I work shift patterns at present and if the shift is longer than 6 hours my dogs go and stay at my parents who own a large country house with big garden to play in I have a large garden which is fully fenced in with only one access point at the front the fence is over 6 foot in height and the front gates are chained shut to prevent any escape artists

About: I’m a South African that loves animals. I’m a mum of 5 and j have had all kind of pets in the past 21 years, including ferrets, birds, Guinea pigs, rats, rabbits, dogs snd cats. I know how stressful it can be leaving an animal when you want to go on holiday or away for a time and finding someone that will treat your animals just like you would. So I would go out of my way to provide that service. I work from home. I live in a 8 bedroom townhouse opposite the beach, so lots of beach walks every day. Massive area downstairs where animals will be comfortable. My pets are like humans. They get so much love and attention that they’re more than just a pet, they’re part of our family. I love all animals and will do whatever I can to make them feel relaxed snd at home

About: I have been looking after animals my whole life. I grew up surrounded by cats and dogs of different sizes and ages. I used to rescue stray animals so I have been in contact with lots of animals over the years. I currently have 3 dogs (2 large dogs and 1 small dog) and 3 cats which I love very much. I also have experience looking after birds (mainly chickens) and rabbits. An interesting fact about me: A few years ago, I got accepted into the VET school. But I dropped out shortly after to pursue another dream of mine. I started considering pet sitting during the pandemic. Because I now work 100% remotely, I felt I could do something else with my spare time. Since I love being around animals, I thought pet sitting might be something I could do as I have experience looking after animals, and I love spending time with them. I'm currently working from home, so I have the flexibility to organise my day the way I want. I have full flexibility over the weekend because I am off work, but I can manage pet sitting tasks during the week as well. I can only care for a pet at the owner's house. I would normally agree with the owner on a schedule. The last pet sittings I have done have been at the owner's house. They would usually let me know the dog's needs, how many times a day it needs feeding, walking etc. I was also able to provide medication. I was happy to look after the house, take out the bins and collect the post while the owners were gone. We also agreed I would update them with a daily picture of the dog and let them know how the day went. Owners have different requests so I always make sure I understand their needs before I get booked in and actually move into the house. So I try to adjust based on every pet sitting request I get.

About: I have been responsible for animals my whole life, being around different breeds since I was little. I am close to some wonderful beaches, forests and the Norfolk Broads. I am currently a youth worker but I have flexibility in my schedule and I am often available to look after pets. If required for the dog to be in my home, I have a very friendly dog Freddie and a cat who often stays out of the way but any dog coming to my home would need to be used to cats and not chase them. I take my dog for a walk once a day since he is getting old, but can take other dogs out separately for longer or additional walks if needed. Freddie loves to chase other dogs around and play on the field near our house. I have a medium sized enclosed garden with plenty of space for the dogs to play. During the summer I will be around most of the time so dogs will not be left alone. My schedule is flexible so I can adjust it to meet each dogs needs. Dog sitting in your own home is never a problem, I understand it’s often best for the dog to be in their own surroundings and not somewhere new. Arranging a meet and greet before the booking is good idea to make sure everyone is happy with the situation. I have experience with nervous dogs and rescue animals. Having patience and a caring attitude helps me make the animals feel comfortable with me and create a trusting relationship. My pets do not need to come with me as I look after them alongside my family. Dog walking bookings are always a good way to get to know dogs. Freddie is neutered and loves other dogs, however if you would rather your dog be walked alone this is fine. I am happy to walk your dog around your home area or I am happy to transport them to the beach/woods etc. I work Monday-Friday flexible hours and sometimes at home so my schedule can fit around requirements for looking after pets so they have the best care. My garden is completely secure and I am happy for dogs to play anywhere in the house. My dog Freddie loves having dogs to come and play with him.
