Teacup Dogs: 10 of the Tiniest Dog Breeds You’ll Ever See

Dog Love

Looking for a dog that’s tinier than a teacup? Then one of these toy dog breeds might be just the pet to warm your lap. Small dogs can be wonderful companions for older folk, dog lovers in urban settings, and anyone who loves the idea of bringing the dog along with them. These ten breeds are some of the cutest, pocket-sized pets around.

Note: we don’t advocate for the extra-tiny teacup dog breeding that has become popular in recent years. Breeding for the smallest possible size of dog can lead to some serious health problems. Rather than search out a specially-named “teacup dog,” look for one of the following small breeds from a responsible breeder.
