Volunteer Molly Clark cooked up a wonderful scheme to encourage adoption at the Kitsap Humane Society near Seattle. She’d take shelter dogs on fun outings, and turn it into amazing social media buzz. Once a week, Clark takes an adoptable dog to the local Starbucks for a ‘puppuccino’ and photo op. (Starbucks gives dogs these whipped cream treats for free!) She then posts the adorable pictures to Instagram. The result? Pure joy—and more dogs finding forever homes. Win-win.

Dogs who enjoy car trips are chosen especially for the weekly outings. The trips are a great escape from the stress and monotony of shelter life.
