This Golden Retriever Has a Rare Beauty Mark We Can’t Get Enough Of

Just look at this handsome guy. He’s got all the regular stuff that makes a golden retriever awesome plus a rare somatic mutation that causes his beauty mark. That roguish half mask of black fur gives Enzo such charm, he’s racking up followers on Instagram without even trying.

Somatic mutations occur after the egg is fertilised, meaning the mutation isn’t passed on in the genes. That means Enzo is truly one of a kind (though many dogs share the condition).
