When Meghan Specksgoor had to leave her dog overnight with her Dad, she had no idea what an awesome time the two would have. Dad sent frequent updates and photos of his adventures with Chance. Fast food, manicures, ice cream, a sleepover— what more fun could any grand-dog and grandad have?
Meghan posted the photos to Twitter and quickly discovered internet fame as the images were retweeted and liked thousands of times.
Chance and Grandpa’s Dream Date
“Chance is allowed to do whatever he wants with my dad – like an actual grandchild – and is given all sorts of treats the whole time he’s with him,” Meghan told Bored Panda.
Chance was rescued from the Richmond Animal League, where he was taken in with a shattered jaw. Chance is named for Chance the Rapper and his second chance at the good life. We think he’s found it!
