The Bugle Horn is a beautiful, historic country pub, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Located near Hartwell House and Gardens, it’s the perfect spot for a relaxing drink or meal with your dog after exploring the Buckinghamshire countryside. In the heart of the Chiltern Hills, there’s a huge number of beautiful dog walks surrounding The Polecat Inn, including the nearby Misbourne Valley and Hampden Estate. Dogs are welcome in the garden and bar area, with water bowls provided to help them cool off.

At The Spindle and Thread you and your pup can be guaranteed a warm welcome. Whether you decide to warm up by the fireplace or cool down in the beer garden, dogs have access to the whole pub. The Spindle and Thread team always have water bowls and treats on hand. There’s also plenty to see and do in the area, including walks through Hughenden Park and West Wycombe Park.
This pub stood out for being extremely dog-friendly, allowing dogs to sit anywhere, including both indoor and outdoor areas. The pub offers a dedicated doggy brunch menu with mix-and-match options to create personalised dog dinners, such as chicken, peas, and carrots.
