  • Not a substitute for professional veterinary help.

Yes! Beef provides a high source of protein for your dog’s energy as well as fatty acids which help tone muscles and develop healthy skin, hair, and joints.  Beef contains Omega-6 giving your dog a shiny coat!

Dogs can eat steak as:

  • A shredded topping to their dried food.
  • Part of their meal as long as it’s cooked medium well and cut into bite-size pieces.  We recommend removing bones and excess fat as it’s difficult for dogs to digest. Bones can also break your dog’s teeth or puncture the intestine or throat.
  • A special treat if you have leftovers while you’re making stew for dinner. Avoid seasoned meat as many seasonings are unhealthy and even toxic to your dog.
