We were stressed looking for a boarder starting that evening, and Pragyan was willing to hop on a call and answered all my questions. When we dropped Izzy off they both put her at ease and she happily followed them into the apartment building. At the end of each day we received a video update of the day’s activities with included walks, naps, trips to the dog park, and play time. We also received updates and pictures throughout the stay. While we were away we were confident that Izzy was being well taken care of and looked after as if she were a part of their family. My Experience: - 5+ years of looking after and walking dogs - Experience with dogs at home (we’ve had a Labrador, mini schnauzer, cairn terrier and labradoodle to look after in the family) and I currently have a mixed breed rescue (so got experience from puppy to senior). I work from home and I’m usually close to home most weekends. This means I can be flexible to the needs of your dog (as I know how it is and how different each dogs needs are) 🐾 I have an apartment with a large outdoor balcony. I take the dogs out every few hours to cater to their potty schedule and ensure they get the proper amount of exercise. I live close to many parks and it is a calm, dog friendly neighbourhood.

From the moment Harry arrived, Xue provided EXCEPTIONAL CARE, patience, and attention to every detail of his well-being. She established a calm, predictable routine that helped Harry feel secure and comfortable. She carefully monitored his eating and water intake to make sure he stayed hydrated and was eating appropriately. On the rare occasion he seemed uncomfortable or showed any signs of needing extra attention, she responded immediately and even ADMINISTIRED his prescribed MEDICATION exactly as instructed. Om: Min sambo Oliver och jag har haft vår egen lilla Bostonterrier i ett år och innan dess har vi främst passat mopsar och dvärgpudlar. Currently, I help taking care of my partner’s senior cat and a very stubborn Shiba Inu dog on almost daily basis. 🐩 I’m currently working from home and searching for a new job. Therefore I have rather flexible schedule and can fit pet sitting or walking into my daily routine. I always ask for a greet and meet before any sitting inquiry, so I can have a good idea of the environment and get to know the animal. Regarding sitting in my home, I would do a deep cleaning of the place first to ensure no dangerous item or plants are within reach of the animal.

Om: I have had animals in my house in the countryside since I was born, cats, dog (border collie), went to feed the chickens and horses at my grandparents, ponies at my neighbors. Since I left the nest I have had only cats but have been dog and cat sitting, especially in Stockholm for friends. I would be very happy to expand! I live with my husband, who works with dog training and has 6 years of close hands on experience handling and training dogs. He has worked with many different types of dogs, including dogs with more challenging behaviours, and has strong experience with body language, boundaries, calm handling, confidence building, and everyday training foundations. Together, we provide a safe, structured, and caring environment where dogs are treated as family members who are temporarily away from their people. We pay close attention to each dog’s personality, comfort level, stress signals, excitement level, confidence, and interactions with other dogs. For us, good dog care is not only about feeding, walking, and supervision. It is about helping each dog feel safe, understood, and respected. Some dogs are confident and social. Some are sensitive, shy, easily excited, clingy, or still learning basic manners. We adjust our care to the individual dog rather than treating every dog the same. We always follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding routines, walking habits, house rules, medication if needed, comfort levels, boundaries, and preferred handling style. We never force a dog into situations they are not ready for. For puppies and young dogs, we can also provide gentle training support during care, depending on the dog’s age, personality, and the owner’s wishes. This may include basic obedience and daily manners such as sit, down, wait, stay, recall, walking close, focus, calmness, polite greeting, not jumping up, reducing over-excitement, leaving or dropping things, and building safer habits around food, objects, and other dogs. We can also help puppies become more comfortable with everyday body handling, such as paws, ears, mouth, collar, harness, grooming touch, and other sensitive areas, always in a gentle and respectful way. Young dogs, especially around 4–8 months and under 2 years old, are often in a very important learning stage. With calm routines and consistent guidance, this period can be a great time to build confidence, better manners, and safer behaviour in daily life. For adult dogs with existing behaviour issues, we are happy to discuss what may be realistic case by case. Some behaviours can improve with structure and consistency, while long established habits may need more time and cannot be guaranteed to change. Our goal is simple: your dog should feel safe, understood, respected, and genuinely cared for, not just looked after. Pet care fits perfectly into our daily routine. Me and my husband are available throughout the day to give pets constant attention, companionship, playtime, and regular walks, so they are never left alone or feeling lonely. We live in an apartment and we provide a calm, clean, and safe home environment and always follow each pet’s routine and instructions carefully. Pets are never left unattended and we supervise interactions closely. We are attentive to behavior changes, feeding schedules, exercise needs, and emotional comfort, and we treat every pet with patience, respect, and genuine care, just like a family member.

Om: I’ve raised both a cat and a dog from a young age and have cared for 10+ dogs and 5+ cats through pet sitting. I understand each pet has unique needs and personalities, and I always adapt my care to them. My goal is to provide a calm, safe, and stress-free experience for both pets and owners. I also take a lot of time with them on weekends, usually taking my dog for long walks. I have an apartment with a spare room specifically for pets. Om: Under de senaste sex åren har jag varit hundvakt åt flertalet hundar, allt från shih tzu, golden retrievers, labradoodle och Berner sennen med flera. Jag har under denna tid matat och rastat (även försökt träna) hundarna. Kärleken för hundar har satt en stark prägel på mig och mina drömmar och vid tillfälle skulle jag vilja ha en egen hund. Jag går just nu mitt sista år på gymnasiet och har därför varierande tider och plugg. Däremot är jag tillgänglig under helger då jag inte har andra planer. Jag bor i en lägenhet utan tillgång till egen tomt. Däremot spenderar jag den tid jag har med hunden, på hunden och dens behov. Jag har två kaniner som vi flyttar på när en hund kommer för att undvika onödig stress för båda parterna.
