We were stressed looking for a boarder starting that evening, and Pragyan was willing to hop on a call and answered all my questions. When we dropped Izzy off they both put her at ease and she happily followed them into the apartment building. At the end of each day we received a video update of the day’s activities with included walks, naps, trips to the dog park, and play time. We also received updates and pictures throughout the stay. I helped start a registered non-profit providing therapy rabbit services to elderly patients in nursing homes, and through this I learned how to train therapy and agility rabbits. During that time I was taking care of between 8-14 rabbits at a time, including my own pet bunny Tango! I grew up with three cats and have had experience cat/dog/bunny/chicken sitting for different people since I was 16. I volunteered with a vet clinic in my hometown and helped take care of the cats that were kept there over the weekends. In university I got my cat Lorenzo, and I lived in a house with him and two elderly dogs. Coco usually gets super anxious when we leave but with him, it felt like she immediately bonded and found her new favourite person which has never happened before. Leo is diabetic and required insulin shots with scheduled feeding and care. We were more worried on that part but Siddharth provided us with very promt and regular updates on both, they were extremely relaxed and maybe didnt even miss us this time around. It's more difficult bonding with cats and if he can do such wonders with ours, i have no doubt he will have any problem with other pets too. I have never gotten such detailed updates, photos and videos from any sitter before so this deserves a special mention. He kept the house immaculate and looked after our babies like they were his own. Cannot thank him enough!”

Om: Jag älskar hundar och trivs bra med de naturliga pauserna som kommer med att ha en hund hemma på dagtid. Jag bor nära ett skogsområde med större grönområde för hunden att kunna leka på och det finns fina promenadstråk i närheten för längre promenader. För mig är det viktigt att hunden får uppmärksamhet och får känna sig trygg hemma hos mig. Jag har varit hundvakt tidigare åt både äldre hundar och valpar och anpassar mig efter hundens behov om den gillar att leka mer eller har lugnare karaktär. Har din hund speciella behov så meddela mig så jag vet vad den behöver för att må bra. Jag studerar oftast på distans så jag har möjlighet att ha hunden hemma under dagstid. Kvällstid under vardagar brukar jag kunna, förutom tisdagar då hämtning behöver ske 17.00 senast. I mitt hem kommer hunden både få tillgång till leksaker, uppmärksamhet och lek mellan lektioner samt promenader där vi båda får röra oss, anpassar mig självklart beroende på vilken hund det är och hur aktiv den gillar att vara.

Om: Hi fellow fur parents! My partner Karl and I live in an apartment in Danderyd and we have been on Rover since Aug 2024. Since we work from home most of the time, we started helping other pet parents with taking care their animals. Currently, my partner takes more dog walking tasks than me due to my current schedule. I personally have been taking care of cats since I was 12yo and I never stopped learning about pet care. From year 2015 I started volunteering at animal shelter and take part in homeless animal rescue - I have gained abundant experience in feline and canine clinical medication, pet nutrition, and daily care. My family (who lives close by) have a 3yo Shiba and a 15 yo British short hair cat, I cook home-made meals for my animals daily, brushes their teeth and administer their medication (inhaler for my cat). I am very experienced in administrating all types of medication (topical, inhaled, injection) and daily hygiene practices like teeth brushing, claws trimming and so on. I’m currently doing my PhD at KTH, and have a relatively flexible schedule. I can usually take last-minute order, but it is very well appreciated if you can book at least 2 days in advance. Both my partner and I can take orders, at least one of us work from home everyday. I have 2 glazed balconies at my apartment in Danderyd, and we are 1 minute from the forest and about 5 minute from a lake. I can take long walks with dogs and allow the dog to chill on my balcony.
Om: Min sambo och jag har haft vår egen lilla Bostonterrier i ett år och innan dess har vi främst passat mopsar och dvärgpudlar. Genom den erfarenheten har vi lärt oss att alla hundar är olika och att varje ras har sina egna behov, rutiner och personligheter. Vi känner oss trygga med att ta hand om både busiga valpar och äldre hundar som behöver ett lugnare tempo och lite extra omtanke. För oss är det viktigaste att varje hund känner sig trygg, sedd och får den omsorg den behöver. Vi vet att det är ett stort förtroende att lämna sin hund i någon annans händer. Därför tycker vi att det är viktigt att vi lär känna varandra innan passningen, så att vi får veta allt som är viktigt för just din hund – från rutiner och vanor till sådant som gör att både du och din hund kan känna er helt trygga :) Jag jobbar heltid från måndag till fredag, men passar gärna på kvällarna. Annars är jag tillgänglig hela dagar på helgerna! Vi bor i en lägenhet med skog och naturområde i närheten som är perfekt för promenader. Utöver det kan vår hund hålla bra sällskap :)
Om: I’m a full-time pet sitter at Rover. I've cared for cats since I was young at home and have been the best friend of every dog I hosted. As full-time sitter, there will be plenty of time to take care of/play with the dog/cat. I usually plan my free time on purpose during the weekends as well. Pets are like human kids, and they can be sensitive. I always check for danger. For example, I always keep my cat company while hanging on the balcony, although we have functional net protection.

Om: Having grown up internationally, I’m now living and working in Sweden as a Product Manager with my sambo (partner). I’ve always loved animals, but because I travel quite often, having a pet of my own isn’t the right fit for me at the moment. That’s one of the reasons I genuinely love pet sitting. I live with my husband, who works with dog training and has six years of hands on experience handling and training dogs. He has worked with many different personalities and behavioural challenges and has strong experience with canine body language, boundaries, calm handling, confidence building and everyday training foundations. Some are confident and social, while others may be sensitive, shy, easily excited, clingy, independent or still learning how to settle in a new environment. We do not expect every dog to behave in the same way. We pay close attention to each dog’s personality, comfort level, stress signals, confidence, energy level and communication, and adapt our care accordingly. We also arrange our schedule so that dogs staying with us are not left alone, there will always be at least one of us at home with them. We follow important information from owners regarding feeding, medication, health needs, sleep routines, familiar cues, sensitivities and anything else that helps the dog feel comfortable. At the same time, dogs staying with us are handled according to our own safety and care routines. This allows us to provide a calm, consistent environment for everyone in our home. ✅Behaviour knowledge as part of good care✨ Our experience with dog behaviour naturally influences the way we care for dogs. We notice things such as changes in body language, overstimulation, uncertainty, frustration, difficulty settling or when a dog simply needs more space. We encourage calm everyday manners and try not to unintentionally reinforce behaviours that may make daily life more stressful for the dog. However, daycare and boarding are first and foremost care services. Formal behaviour assessment, behaviour modification or structured training programmes are not automatically included in a standard care booking. Our training experience helps us provide thoughtful and knowledgeable care, but we keep professional training and everyday dog care as two separate roles. If your dog has existing behavioural concerns, for example reactivity, resource guarding, difficulty around other dogs, strong separation related behaviour or any other special handling needs please tell us openly before booking. Dogs are living with us in our home, even if only temporarily, and we want them to feel loved while they are here.
