Om: To be completely honest i haven’t had a cat at all or taken cared of a cat before. All i can tell you is that i absolutely adored cats and if only my family were not allergic to fur i definitely would have a cat. I can assure you that even if i dont have experience of taking care of a cat i still know the basics of how to take care of them.

I helped start a registered non-profit providing therapy rabbit services to elderly patients in nursing homes, and through this I learned how to train therapy and agility rabbits. During that time I was taking care of between 8-14 rabbits at a time, including my own pet bunny Tango! I grew up with three cats and have had experience cat/dog/bunny/chicken sitting for different people since I was 16. I volunteered with a vet clinic in my hometown and helped take care of the cats that were kept there over the weekends. In university I got my cat Lorenzo, and I lived in a house with him and two elderly dogs. When I adopted Lorenzo he had some health issues, so I'm comfortable giving medicine to cats or taking care of special needs cats. Om: Det som skiljer mig från andra djurvakter är framför allt min genuina kärlek till djur och min långa erfarenhet av att ta hand om dem. Jag är uppvuxen med djur och har haft dem omkring mig under hela mitt liv. Jag har även tagit hand om andras djur, bland annat min systers katt nyligen. Min pojkvän har en husky som jag ofta hjälper till att ta hand om, så jag är van vid både katter och hundar – även aktiva hundar som behöver mycket motion och stimulans. Jag har inget eget djur just nu, men djur har alltid haft en väldigt speciell plats i mitt hjärta. Jag är lugn, kärleksfull, ansvarsfull och uppmärksam på varje djurs personlighet och behov. För mig är det viktigt att djuret känner sig tryggt, får mycket omtanke och blir omhändertaget som om det vore mitt eget.

“Siddharth was absolutely amazing as our house sitter for our 2 cats. I cannot recommend him enough since he felt nothing less than a cat whisperer which is really saying something😊. Coco usually gets super anxious when we leave but with him, it felt like she immediately bonded and found her new favourite person which has never happened before. Leo is diabetic and required insulin shots with scheduled feeding and care. We were more worried on that part but Siddharth provided us with very promt and regular updates on both, they were extremely relaxed and maybe didnt even miss us this time around. It's more difficult bonding with cats and if he can do such wonders with ours, i have no doubt he will have any problem with other pets too. I have never gotten such detailed updates, photos and videos from any sitter before so this deserves a special mention. He kept the house immaculate and looked after our babies like they were his own. Cannot thank him enough!”

För mig är det viktigt att djuret känner sig tryggt, får den omsorg och uppmärksamhet det behöver och att dess vanliga rutiner följs så gott det går. Om: Hi fellow fur parents! My partner Karl and I live in an apartment in Danderyd and we have been on Rover since Aug 2024. Since we work from home most of the time, we started helping other pet parents with taking care their animals. Currently, my partner takes more dog walking tasks than me due to my current schedule. I personally have been taking care of cats since I was 12yo and I never stopped learning about pet care. From year 2015 I started volunteering at animal shelter and take part in homeless animal rescue - I have gained abundant experience in feline and canine clinical medication, pet nutrition, and daily care. My family (who lives close by) have a 3yo Shiba and a 15 yo British short hair cat, I cook home-made meals for my animals daily, brushes their teeth and administer their medication (inhaler for my cat). I am very experienced in administrating all types of medication (topical, inhaled, injection) and daily hygiene practices like teeth brushing, claws trimming and so on. I’m currently doing my PhD at KTH, and have a relatively flexible schedule. I can usually take last-minute order, but it is very well appreciated if you can book at least 2 days in advance. Both my partner and I can take orders, at least one of us work from home everyday. I have 2 glazed balconies at my apartment in Danderyd, and we are 1 minute from the forest and about 5 minute from a lake. I can take long walks with dogs and allow the dog to chill on my balcony.

Om: I had to leave my dog behind when moving from Toronto to Sweden, unfortunately. I would love to transfer my love for all kinds of dogs to yours! I have some great walking paths nearby, right by the lake, and there are many different areas to go. I am able to keep dogs overnight and on weekends. I work from home and we have a large yard with a fence in Stocksund. I can take long walks during the work day because my work is very flexible I have lots of experience with dogs and am both Loving and firm. I love to practise tricks and commands and teach them as well.

Om: I grew up with pets in my family, so caring for animals has always been part of my life. Over the years, I’ve also looked after friends’ pets by feeding, walking and giving them company while their owner were away. I know from experience how much pets mean to their families, and I treat every animal with the same patience and attention I’d want for my own. Whether it’s a quick check-in or an extended one, I’m reliable, communicative, and genuinely happy spending rime with animals. I’m currently a student at the end of my master program so I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your pet and, why not, build a bond with him/her. Om: I have been taken care of dogs and cats for my friends, for almost two years, and I got good care of Tuva in my airbnb host in Romme alpin and I still send toys to her every year. She is a schnauzer little version. Sooooooo cute! I used to sleep with her in my bed during my ski there. I’m currently in job seeking so I have plenty of time to take care of the beloved dogs if needed, the week days work fine for me. Personally I don’t have pets at home so I cannot provide your dogs with a sibling play company in that sense, but I very much love dogs and if your dogs love human-dog interaction, that could be me.

Jag kan lätt ge enkla, verbala tillsägelser vid behov och kan kommunicera med din hund för ett bra och tryggt samarbete med mig som förare för stunden. Det är mest beröm som kommer från mig under promenader, men jag anpassar mig vid situationen för allas säkerhet. Katt: Även utan mycket erfarenhet vet jag att man gör en katt bekväm. De får utforska på egen hand, bli mutade med få godisar eller mat för att se att jag inte är ett hot, bli klappade på egna termer, och skulle få väldigt mycket kärlek från mig om de vill ha det. Jag har inga problem med att rensa kattlådor och ser till att katten har det rent och fint.

Some are confident and social, while others may be sensitive, shy, easily excited, clingy, independent or still learning how to settle in a new environment. We do not expect every dog to behave in the same way. We pay close attention to each dog’s personality, comfort level, stress signals, confidence, energy level and communication, and adapt our care accordingly. We also arrange our schedule so that dogs staying with us are not left alone, there will always be at least one of us at home with them. We follow important information from owners regarding feeding, medication, health needs, sleep routines, familiar cues, sensitivities and anything else that helps the dog feel comfortable. At the same time, dogs staying with us are handled according to our own safety and care routines. This allows us to provide a calm, consistent environment for everyone in our home. ✅Behaviour knowledge as part of good care✨ Our experience with dog behaviour naturally influences the way we care for dogs. We notice things such as changes in body language, overstimulation, uncertainty, frustration, difficulty settling or when a dog simply needs more space. We encourage calm everyday manners and try not to unintentionally reinforce behaviours that may make daily life more stressful for the dog. However, daycare and boarding are first and foremost care services. Formal behaviour assessment, behaviour modification or structured training programmes are not automatically included in a standard care booking. Our training experience helps us provide thoughtful and knowledgeable care, but we keep professional training and everyday dog care as two separate roles. If your dog has existing behavioural concerns, for example reactivity, resource guarding, difficulty around other dogs, strong separation related behaviour or any other special handling needs please tell us openly before booking. This will helps us understand your dog better and to keep everyone safe and comfortable. 🎀More than simply being looked after🎀 For us, good dog care is not just about completing a checklist of feeding and walks. Dogs are living with us in our home, even if only temporarily, and we want them to feel loved while they are here. Om: Growing up I’ve taken care of two dogs for a short period of time, for a month I was fully responsible for my sister’s beagle. For now I don’t have an opportunity to get a pet, but I love spending time with dogs so much, I would love to combine that with helping out other people :) Since december I’ve been helping out with a pomeranian, she’s staying with me quite often for a few weeks at a time. I’m working part-time online, usually in the evenings. Otherwise I’m studying a bit, which is time-flexible. That makes it easier to work around dog’s schedule, also plenty of time to spend with the dog I live in a 28m^2 apartment, can have a dog over for multiple days. Will take them out for walks as much as we agree on
