About: I grew up in a household with dogs all my life, including boxers, a labradoodle, and a boston terrier! Family and friends would often rely on me for walking, sitting and bathing their pups. In college, I would spend my free weekends volunteering to walk and care for dogs at the local animal shelter. I now have a best friend of my own, a shepherd mix puppy named Davie! I would be honored to care for your pup, and provide any additional services you may need like walking or a bath! I currently work full time during the week, but can be available in the evenings for a check-in or on the weekends for check-ins or sitting. I have a large park right outside my front door that includes a walking trail and an enclosed dog park for your pup to play! My baby pup Davie does very well with other dogs and would love to play with yours!

About: Since being a little girl, my family always had 4 dogs in the home and one cat. When i moved out of the house i always owned two dogs at once, but with having my two kids when i was fairly young it got a bit challenging. Now that they are older i would love to watch your fur babies since my dogs are living with my kid’s dad! I am currently working full time at Starbucks but when i am away my mother comes over and takes care of my kids. My daughter is currently in preschool so my mother is usually over at my house anywhere around 11:30 till 5. She’s very good with helping me keep on top of stuff. I don’t leave for work until 8 so that will give me plenty of time to let doggos go potty before then. My apartment has a gated area for animals right next door to me, it takes two seconds to walk your fur baby over to let them go run out their energy and go potty. I also would love to take the doggies on walks with my kids!

She even was so kind to watch him and take care of him after we learned he tore his ACL and had to be restricted in movement and she made sure he was taken care of! About: Growing up, I was always interested in learning about different dog breeds and had aspirations of becoming a veterinarian. Though I did not become a veterinarian, I do have a solid background and understanding of animal healthcare and wellbeing thanks to my undergraduate studies (B.S. Zoology, some Animal Science) and ongoing interest in pet health and dog training. While still in high school, I worked briefly in a pet boarding facility where I prepared morning and evening meals, administered medications, and supervised outdoor play for large groups of dogs. From this experience supervising large groups of dogs, I became more familiar with canine body language and behavioral cues. My sheepadoodle, Ivy, came home to me at about 10 weeks old; so I did potty train and leash train her with positive reinforcement using her favorite treats. I also had the opportunity to foster a litter of 5 puppies in college and potty trained them as well. In addition to my experience with puppies, I have cared for a few senior pups including my brother’s aging border collie and pitbull mix and my late Great Boxer (Great Dane/boxer), Grover. In my experience caring for senior pups, I became familiar with the medical issues that come along with increasing age such as arthritis, incontinence, deafness/blindness, and even cancer to name a few. My own pups have also had sensitive skin, digestive issues, and recurrent ear infections. Managing these health issues at times required daily cleanings, ointment applications, and attention to ensure that wounds or infections healed without interference. I work part-time in a hospital lab, with a fixed schedule. I work 4 days in a row, then I am off for 10 days. When I am not working in the lab, I am at home caring for my two young children (ages 3 and almost 2) and 5 year-old sheepadoodle. We enjoy spending time outside in the backyard or going for walks around the neighborhood. Any dog that steps paw inside my home is treated like family. If your precious pup requires *special* treatment, I try my best to adhere to any instructions provided. I have a large crate, along with dog blankets, if your pup is into that sort of thing. It is spacious enough for any standard medium to large sized dog. I do have a decently sized backyard with 6 ft privacy fencing all around, and larger smooth rocks surrounding the grass. If your pup is not great with tiny humans, loud noises, or just the general chaos of a young family, please consider a sitter with a calmer environment that better meets their needs.
