Over: Hi, I'm Carla! Animals have always had a very special place in my life. Being around them makes me genuinely happy, and becoming a pet sitter is a way for me to spend more time doing something that truly fulfils me. My inspiration One of the biggest reasons behind this step is Zara, my American Bulldog. She was sweet, gentle and incredibly sociable, although, like the great lady she was , she could also be a little temperamental and selective! Zara taught me so much about respecting an animal's individual personality, needs and boundaries. When she passed away in October 2025, she left a huge space in my life. I don't want to fill my home with as many dogs as possible. I prefer to offer a calm, loving family environment where every dog receives individual attention and care. A garden to play, relax and simply be a dog. I have a large garden where dogs can enjoy the outdoors, play, explore and have some freedom. The garden is completely enclosed and secure, with mostly grass, giving dogs plenty of space to relax, explore and enjoy some outdoor time. I also enjoy providing mental enrichment activities, adapted to each dog's personality and needs. After all, keeping their minds active can be just as important or more then physical exercise! My experience All my life i had contact with animals like dogs, cats, birds and even a very naughty parrot. Living with and caring for my own dogs has taught me a lot about routines, wellbeing and the importance of noticing even the smallest changes. I also have practical experience with dogs with allergies and sensitive skin, including skin-care routines and ongoing maintenance. Any specific care is always provided according to the owner's instructions and, where necessary, veterinary guidance. How I can help Loving home boarding for dogs, following a prior introduction Doggy day care Pet sitting and companionship Dog walks I enjoy taking dogs on calm walks through quite green surroundings, with canals and open spaces nearby. Every dog on my care will have 3 walks per day at least. There are also designated areas where dogs can safety enjoy some off- leash time. For safety reasons, i prefer to keep dogs on a leash during walks. The length of each walk depends on the will, energy and how much dog is having fun but in general, each walk lasts around 30 minutes, giving the dog a calm, relaxed moment. Home visits Feeding according to your pet's routine. Medication administration when clearly instructed. Can be daily skin care routine, pills or another type of medication. Playtime and mental enrichment Basic hygiene care. For over night stays, I have comfortable beds and crates available if necessary, depending on each dog's needs and what they are used to. Regular photo and video updates, ALWAYS For cats: Unfortunately, I can't host cats in my home because i have Bully, but I would be very happy to care for them in the comfort and familiarity of their own home. What matters most to me I know how difficult it can be to leave our pets in someone else's care. They are not "just animals", they are family. That's why I like to get to know every pet before caring for them. I want to understand their personality, routine, likes, dislikes and individual needs. My goal is simple: to make your pet feel safe, loved, respected and happy while you're away and to give you peace of mind knowing they are being cared for with genuine attention and affection. At the moment, I work part‑time only in the mornings, three days a week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday), with reduced hours. This means that every afternoon and the rest of the week I’m fully available for walks, daycare, pet_sitting and boarding, depending on what each family needs. Even on the mornings when I’m working, my schedule is flexible enough to offer early walks or evening visits. A day with me is personal, simple and real. In my daily routine with the doggies, I like to keep everything light, calm and full of affection. Every dog that arrives is welcomed as if they were already part of my little family. My Bully, always sweet and social, helps set the tone and makes newcomers feel safe right away. I start by checking how each dog is feeling: their mood, energy, any special needs, medication or skin care. Every dog has their own rhythm, and I follow that rhythm naturally. Throughout the day, I make sure we have at least three walks, always adapted to what each pup enjoys. Some love exploring every corner, others prefer short and peaceful walks and even when the ground is wet, the routine continues, because they need that time outside. If the weather allows it, the safe backyard becomes the favourite spot: playtime, running, sniffing around and relaxing in the sun. After every outdoor moment, I clean their paws so they stay comfortable and tidy. I like to balance physical play with mental stimulation, which I find very important. Search games, small challenges, individual attention… and of course, plenty of allowed laziness. Here, every pup rests whenever they want, without pressure. In my home, getting on the sofa is allowed and cuddles in bed too, but always discussed with the owners first, I don’t want to create habits that don’t fit each family. If I’m caring for a dog in their own home, I keep the same routine: walks, playtime, hygiene, attention and respect for the family’s space. I’m a true dog mum, and I treat every guest with the same affection I give my own dog. At the end of the day, seeing each dog calm, safe and happy is what moves me, it’s the feeling that I’m on the right path.😊

Over: Hello, guardians! I've always had animals since I was a child from large dogs to small mongrels. I've always loved animals, they are pure and we are lucky to have them around ☆ I've had 6 dogs with my family at the same time, not to mention all the others that came and went. I loved each and every one of them and they had a beautiful life! Now that I've moved here (I'm Brazilian and we're adapting and preparing to get another pet, but due to numerous trips, it's not the right time). So I think it's a great time to take care of animals in need when their owners can't be around! I'll try to get to know your pet and play with him in the way he likes, whether it's playing tag, fetching a ball or biting toys For those who aren't too restless, they will get affection and peace ♡ |'ll be very happy to take care of your pet, I'll give him all the affection I would give him if I could have an animal again. I work part-time as an artist, so I’m home most of the time and can give your pet plenty of attention. My husband also works from home, so there will be two people around to play with and walk your dog. We take quick potty breaks every three hours and go for one long walk in the late afternoon. And if you need only walks, I can come to your home for longer walks at whatever time works for you I don't have pets at home, and I only accept one pet at a time. Over: I have had a German Shepard for all of my childhood who I took care of daily, walking her everyday and taking care of her. In her older years her back legs became paralysed so she had to use a wheelchair, so I have a lot of experience with older dogs who are not in their full mobility. Now recently for the past year I have got a Labrador puppy, who is full of energy, and not easy to walk, so I have a lot of experience with younger dogs as well who are not fully trained yet. I also have lived in a household with two cats, so I have experience of taking care of them and even walking a cat on a leash. I do not have a preference for kinds of dogs or cats, I approve of them all. I’m a student, so my schedule varies from week to week, but I have a lot of flexibility and availability. My classes usually only take up part of the day, and I also have days with no classes at all. This allows me to easily plan pet care around my schedule and make plenty of time for your pet. I’m also fully available on weekends! I always make sure that pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Before taking a pet for a walk, I make sure I fully understand their individual needs, routines, and anything I should avoid, and I keep this in mind throughout the walk. I live in an apartment without a balcony, but I’m happy to take pets outside for regular walks and make sure they get plenty of fresh air and exercise.

I am a calm, patient, and responsible person, and I genuinely enjoy making pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Because every animal has a different personality and routine, I always adapt my care depending on their needs and energy level.

A typical day with me includes regular walks, playtime, feeding based on the owner’s instructions, lots of attention, and a calm environment where pets can relax comfortably. Walks are usually between 30 minutes and 1 hour depending on the dog. Pets are never left alone for very long periods, and I always make sure they are supervised carefully indoors and outdoors. I am comfortable onwith shy or anxious dogs and try to help them feel secure with patience and gentle attention. I can also follow specific routines, feeding schedules, and basic training instructions from owners. I always keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can feel relaxed while away from their pets.

Safety is very important to me. I keep a clean and pet-safe environment at home and stay calm and responsible in unexpected situations or emergencies. For safety reasons, I prefer vaccinated pets.

Because I am a university student with a flexible schedule, pets are rarely left alone for long periods. In most cases, they would stay with me throughout the day. If I have a morning class, usually between 9:00 and 11:30, pets may be alone for a short time, but never more than around 2 hours. I always make sure they are comfortable, safe, and settled before leaving.

I understand that pets are family members, and I will always care for them with love, patience, and responsibility as if they were my own 🐾 I’m currently a student and only have classes three days a week, usually just one class per day. My schedule is quite flexible, and when I do go out, I’m rarely away from home for more than 3–4 hours at a time. I live in a comfortable and quiet apartment with enough space for pets to relax and feel at home. I keep the environment clean and safe, and there are no other pets in my home. I always follow the owner’s routine and instructions and make sure their pet gets plenty of attention and feels comfortable.

Ik kan mij dus goed aanpassen aan het ritme van je hond en wat hij of zij nodig heeft. Ik kan bij jou langskomen om je hond te voeren, knuffelen en uitlaten omdat ik centraal woon. Honden zijn bij mij ook welkom en mogen lekker op de bank/bed als dat van jou ook mag natuurlijk!

Over: Im in love with animals and would wanna always try my best to keep them safe, happy and loved as they deserve it. I do not have that much experience in serious pet sitting but I have always been around pets and have taken care of them and played with them quite a lot. Usually i have good experience with them and pets love me:)<3 My previous roommate and I used to have a cat and pet sit together sometimes, dogs as well. However in my new apartment, i just have one room (25m2) and is perhaps not the best living situation for especially bigger dogs. Otherwise small quiet pets is doable still at my place. You can find the photos in my gallery. I have a small balcony which is nice and our front door is a closed off open area. But inside the house would be mainly in my bedroom✨ But i am more than happy to take care of them in their own home and spoil them or whatever is needed. I can be quite flexible with my time. I need more pets and animals around me as i miss it:')) Ik spreek ook goed Nederlands :) I have a part time job which is mainly during evenings until midnight ish, sometimes i go to my art studio to work there which I differs the time schedule, but it is a big space and sometimes I can bring pets with me as well:) as long as they re known to be more on the quiet side hahaa. For the rest I sometimes have classes that I attend to or am with friends, but I eventually always come back home within 3 hours max, I live also quite close to Rotterdam centraal which is nice. I have a partner that stays over sometimes and then we both take care of the pet as well which we love:)))<3 Now I only have one bedroom space with a pet proof balcony for myself, I have a kitchen next to my room and a bathroom upstairs. Enough space for a pet to wander around but also not so big for a bigger dog for example. I also have a closed off front door terrace which is also nice:)) and a little park literally next to my house yey. I am quite flexible being at a pet owners house which I understand sometimes that might be easier for a pet. When it is good weather I can walk or bike to that place if its around my area, otherwise I go with transport (I would charge the transport a bit as well since those are expensive :')) I respect the houserules ofcourse and will let the pet owner know about any updates and news:)))<3

Over: I monitor cat health very closely including poop and pee appearance and daily litter box frequency. I check their mood, playfulness, sleep patterns and drinking water freshness. I also track if a cat is grooming themselves, vomiting or getting into any trouble around the house. I always make time for interactive playtime, hand feeding fresh cat grass and petting. What sets me apart is how I build contact with different personalities. I take things very slowly with shy or complicated cats giving them time to feel safe. For outgoing cats who love socialization and non stop petting I establish a quick bond and offer plenty of affection. I offer practical care and everyday grooming skills. I can safely administer liquid medicine using a pipette or give tablets directly into the mouth. I can apply deworming or flea drops onto the neck area, trim cat nails and gently brush their fur. If needed I can wash dirty paws and bottom area to maintain perfect hygiene. I am also experienced in cleaning eyes and ears from discharge and administering eye or ear drops. I am fully prepared to transport your cat to the vet clinic and stay by their side during long medical treatments (like drips or surgeries etc). I strictly follow your household rules so your pet feels zero disruption to their daily routine.

Over: 10 years ago I became best friends with a girl who had four cats and they absolutely stole my heart. My family were dog people so I had never had cats but those four kittens stole my heart and ever since then I only grew to love them more. Whenever my friend used to travel I would come every day to clean their litter box, feed and play with them for a bit. I would go for hours every day because they were the cutest! She had one rescue, a Maine coon and two Persians. One of the Persians was my best friend, the rescue was a menace and the other two kept to themselves, I loved them as they were and I promise to do the same with your fur babies. Since I’m a student who doesn’t own an apartment I can’t adopt a cat myself but I’ll assure you I’ll treat your cat(s) as my own. I can promise they will know nothing but love from me, even if they hiss and hide.

I had many pets when I was back home, but unfortunately I haven't had any pets since I moved here 3 years ago. I'm an animal lover and I'd love to take care of your pet. I grew up in Kenya, where my parents’ have always had dogs, and since I was around 10, I’ve taken care of dogs and puppies of different breeds, from Golden Retrievers to Malteses. I have experience with feeding, walking, giving oral medication, grooming, basic training, and raising puppies.

 I now live in Rotterdam (Delfshaven area) and don’t have any dogs of my own here yet, but I love them, which is one reason I joined this platform!

 One thing that makes me a bit different from many sitters is that I usually only take care of one pet at a time and don’t have pets of my own. So if your dog is uncomfortable/anxious around other dogs or just prefers having all the attention, that's no problem. Of course, I’m happy to look after social dogs too!

 I work full-time in climate policy research, but I mainly work from home and only go to the office a maximum of once a week. My schedule is also very flexible, so I can take dogs out throughout the day, usually around four times: morning, lunchtime, late afternoon, and before bed. I live in an apartment but have figured out lots of different green walking routes nearby.

 I don’t leave dogs home alone. If I ever need to step outside, my partner, who also loves dogs, will be there to take care of them.

My partner goes to work most days but has an irregular schedule so if I need to step out e.g., to do groceries, he would be home to take over the pet care for that time. I live in a fairly spacious apartment and have a park across the road where I would take the dogs in my care for walks. There are also multiple other green walking routes in my neighbourhood. I‘m very respecful of owners routines for their pet and would follow instructions closely.

My classes usually only take up part of the day, and I also have days with no classes at all. This allows me to easily plan pet care around my schedule and make plenty of time for your pet. I’m also fully available on weekends! I always make sure that pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Before taking a pet for a walk, I make sure I fully understand their individual needs, routines, and anything I should avoid, and I keep this in mind throughout the walk. I live in an apartment without a balcony, but I’m happy to take pets outside for regular walks and make sure they get plenty of fresh air and exercise.

Since I was 10 years old, I’ve been surrounded by dogs of all sizes and breeds, learning how to understand their behavior, needs, and unique personalities. Being around them makes me genuinely happy, and becoming a pet sitter is a way for me to spend more time doing something that truly fulfils me. My inspiration One of the biggest reasons behind this step is Zara, my American Bulldog. She was sweet, gentle and incredibly sociable, although, like the great lady she was , she could also be a little temperamental and selective! Zara taught me so much about respecting an animal's individual personality, needs and boundaries. When she passed away in October 2025, she left a huge space in my life. Her loss also made me realise how much being around animals means to me. It gave me an even stronger desire to spend my time caring for, learning from and simply being close to other animals. In many ways, becoming a pet sitter is my way of following that feeling. Our family and home I live with my husband and my teenage son and my American bully size pocket, named Bully, a very special member of the family. I believe it's important to be completely transparent: i have a dog living in my home. For this reason, every dog staying with me will be carefully introduced and assessed beforehand to make sure every dog feels safe and comfortable. I don't want to fill my home with as many dogs as possible. I prefer to offer a calm, loving family environment where every dog receives individual attention and care. A garden to play, relax and simply be a dog. I have a large garden where dogs can enjoy the outdoors, play, explore and have some freedom. The garden is completely enclosed and secure, with mostly grass, giving dogs plenty of space to relax, explore and enjoy some outdoor time. I also enjoy providing mental enrichment activities, adapted to each dog's personality and needs. After all, keeping their minds active can be just as important or more then physical exercise! And of course, sometimes the best activity is doing absolutely nothing just simply relaxing on the grass and enjoying a little sun, when the Dutch weather allows it! My experience All my life i had contact with animals like dogs, cats, birds and even a very naughty parrot. Living with and caring for my own dogs has taught me a lot about routines, wellbeing and the importance of noticing even the smallest changes. I also have practical experience with dogs with allergies and sensitive skin, including skin-care routines and ongoing maintenance. Any specific care is always provided according to the owner's instructions and, where necessary, veterinary guidance. How I can help Loving home boarding for dogs, following a prior introduction Doggy day care Pet sitting and companionship Dog walks I enjoy taking dogs on calm walks through quite green surroundings, with canals and open spaces nearby. Every dog on my care will have 3 walks per day at least. There are also designated areas where dogs can safety enjoy some off- leash time. For safety reasons, i prefer to keep dogs on a leash during walks. The length of each walk depends on the will, energy and how much dog is having fun but in general, each walk lasts around 30 minutes, giving the dog a calm, relaxed moment. Home visits Feeding according to your pet's routine. Medication administration when clearly instructed. Can be daily skin care routine, pills or another type of medication. Playtime and mental enrichment Basic hygiene care. For over night stays, I have comfortable beds and crates available if necessary, depending on each dog's needs and what they are used to. Regular photo and video updates, ALWAYS For cats: Unfortunately, I can't host cats in my home because i have Bully, but I would be very happy to care for them in the comfort and familiarity of their own home. What matters most to me I know how difficult it can be to leave our pets in someone else's care. They are not "just animals", they are family. That's why I like to get to know every pet before caring for them. I want to understand their personality, routine, likes, dislikes and individual needs. My goal is simple: to make your pet feel safe, loved, respected and happy while you're away and to give you peace of mind knowing they are being cared for with genuine attention and affection. At the moment, I work part‑time only in the mornings, three days a week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday), with reduced hours. This means that every afternoon and the rest of the week I’m fully available for walks, daycare, pet_sitting and boarding, depending on what each family needs. Even on the mornings when I’m working, my schedule is flexible enough to offer early walks or evening visits. I always try to organise my routine so every pet gets the attention and care they deserve. My goal is to leave my part‑time job soon, because I truly feel happiest when I’m surrounded by dogs. A day with me is personal, simple and real. In my daily routine with the doggies, I like to keep everything light, calm and full of affection. Every dog that arrives is welcomed as if they were already part of my little family. My Bully, always sweet and social, helps set the tone and makes newcomers feel safe right away. I start by checking how each dog is feeling: their mood, energy, any special needs, medication or skin care. Every dog has their own rhythm, and I follow that rhythm naturally. Throughout the day, I make sure we have at least three walks, always adapted to what each pup enjoys. Some love exploring every corner, others prefer short and peaceful walks and even when the ground is wet, the routine continues, because they need that time outside. If the weather allows it, the safe backyard becomes the favourite spot: playtime, running, sniffing around and relaxing in the sun. After every outdoor moment, I clean their paws so they stay comfortable and tidy. I like to balance physical play with mental stimulation, which I find very important. Search games, small challenges, individual attention… and of course, plenty of allowed laziness. Here, every pup rests whenever they want, without pressure. In my home, getting on the sofa is allowed and cuddles in bed too, but always discussed with the owners first, I don’t want to create habits that don’t fit each family. If I’m caring for a dog in their own home, I keep the same routine: walks, playtime, hygiene, attention and respect for the family’s space. I’m a true dog mum, and I treat every guest with the same affection I give my own dog. At the end of the day, seeing each dog calm, safe and happy is what moves me, it’s the feeling that I’m on the right path.😊

Over: Ik ben opgegroeid met de Ierse setter van mijn opa & oma, ik bracht veel tijd met haar door, iedere dag wandelen en spelen met haar. Hier is mijn liefde voor honden begonnen. Ondertussen heb ik een eigen hond samen met mijn partner Sil, Frida een border collie. Samen trekken we er graag op uit, de natuur in om te wandelen. Als uw huisdier bij ons thuis verblijft dan delen ik en mijn partner de zorg over uw dier. Sil heeft veel ervaring met veel verschillende honden, heeft bij een hondenschool en dagopvang gewerkt. Of uw huisdier jong of oud is, of op een andere manier speciale aandacht nodig heeft, dat is geen enkel probleem. Momenteel studeer ik, daarnaast heb ik genoeg tijd om voor uw huisdier te zorgen, en anders springt mijn partner bij als het nodig is. We wandelen meerdere keren per dag met onze hond Frida dus als het te combineren valt is helemaal mooi meegenomen. En om voor katten in hun eigen woonomgeving te verzorgen is altijd mogelijk. We wonen op de eerste etage in een mooie groene buurt, de balkonzijde van de woning is heel rustig en zonnig. We zijn flexibel en kijken naar wat uw huisdier nodig heeft, en wat goed is voor hem/haar.

I have long-term experience with dogs. I grew up in Kenya, where my parents’ have always had dogs, and since I was around 10, I’ve taken care of dogs and puppies of different breeds, from Golden Retrievers to Malteses. I have experience with feeding, walking, giving oral medication, grooming, basic training, and raising puppies.

 I now live in Rotterdam (Delfshaven area) and don’t have any dogs of my own here yet, but I love them, which is one reason I joined this platform!

 One thing that makes me a bit different from many sitters is that I usually only take care of one pet at a time and don’t have pets of my own. So if your dog is uncomfortable/anxious around other dogs or just prefers having all the attention, that's no problem. Of course, I’m happy to look after social dogs too!

 I work full-time in climate policy research, but I mainly work from home and only go to the office a maximum of once a week. My schedule is also very flexible, so I can take dogs out throughout the day, usually around four times: morning, lunchtime, late afternoon, and before bed. I live in an apartment but have figured out lots of different green walking routes nearby.

 I don’t leave dogs home alone. If I ever need to step outside, my partner, who also loves dogs, will be there to take care of them.

 I know every dog is different and that you’ve probably created a routine that works best for them. Please tell me! I always do my best to stick to it to make them feel as comfortable as possible.

I go to the office only once a week, mainly on Tuesdays but this is flexible and I can go whichever day works for my schedule. This schedule allows me to be home to do pet care. My work schedule is also flexible throughout the day because the organisation I work for is very laid back, so I am able to regularly take dogs out for walks/to go potty throughout the day. My partner goes to work most days but has an irregular schedule so if I need to step out e.g., to do groceries, he would be home to take over the pet care for that time. I live in a fairly spacious apartment and have a park across the road where I would take the dogs in my care for walks. There are also multiple other green walking routes in my neighbourhood. I‘m very respecful of owners routines for their pet and would follow instructions closely.

Over: When I moved into the Netherlands, I moved in with a roommate who had two dogs. A golden retriever and a lhasa apso. They were both really well-behaved and I had the pleasure of taking care of them when my roommate went on business trips. These trips lasted about a week and during that time I would walk them three times a day, feed them, give them water, and play with them. Despite the big dog being around the same size as me, I think I handled him pretty good so I think it’s an extra that I can handle big dogs. I still take care of them despite not living there when I’m needed and I have become a person they can trust. I am entering my second year of university studying graphic design, so I work a lot with my hands often at home I have plenty of free time to take care of an animal for a couple of hours a day. I do not have a garden in my house, however I do have the biggest room. It depends on the animal how good that will be for them, however, I do prefer taking care of a pet in the pet owners home. Care in my house can be accepted if it’s an emergency for a couple of hours or a day.
