Most of my experience has been with cats, though I’ve also cared for dogs. Because I work remotely, I’m home most of the time, which allows me to give plenty of attention to the pets. My top priority is making sure they feel comfortable and safe, and I’m always patient and attentive to their individual needs. It depends of the pets of course, but with dogs I go in the morning for a walk, during lunch again and in the evening also (or more or less when needed). With cats I prefer to start the day with a coffee and some cuddles, I like to have some company when I'm working and ready for cuddles in the evening. Always with all respect for the pets and house. I always let the pets get used to have me around and let them come to me when they feel ready. For me it is important that the pets feel safe and comfortable.

They were some of my best friends for the next decade and a half. Tragically, they have since passed on of old age. Now I am good friends with the new dog, Dexter. Affectionately, I called her Grandma Bella because she had been around for perhaps as long as my grandparents. In summer, my favorite activities are blueberry picking, hanging with the neighbor's dogs, and then going swimming. I recently finished my master study at Utrecht University, and am currently searching for a full time role.
