“Via het internet heb ik de organisatie Rover gevonden. Wij zijn op vakantie in Callantsoog en kregen het bericht dat er een goede vriend was overleden. Wij wilden naar de crematie maar konden onze hond Dex niet in de Caravan achterlaten vanwege de hoge temperaturen. Via Rover zijn wij met Maria in contact gekomen en haar uitgekozen om een dag en nacht op Dex te passen. Maria is een superlieve vrouw en dierenvriend, het klikte tussen ons en Dex en wij konden hem met een zeer rustig gevoel bij haar achterlaten. Wij werden zeer goed geïnformeerd met korte filmpjes over het wel en wee van Dex en Maria. Maria hartelijk bedankt en wij wensen jou alle goeds, jij bent een echte Dierenvriendin‼️”

Over: Ik heb als kind zelf altijd honden gehad en ze ook altijd uitgelaten en veel met ze geknuffeld en gespeeld. Zelf hebben wij een chihuahua gehad die hebben we helaas moeten laten inslapen. Daardoor heb ik geleerd goed om te gaan met verschillende karakters en gedragingen. Daarnaast heb ik vaak opgepast op de Jack Russell van een vriendin tijdens vakanties en andere momenten. Ik hou van lange wandelingen, avontuur en actief bezig zijn met honden — vroeger nam ik ze zelfs regelmatig mee tijdens het paardrijden 😊 Ik ben geduldig, rustig en speels, maar durf ook duidelijk en consequent te zijn wanneer dat nodig is. Medicatie geven is geen probleem en ik sta open voor alle soorten honden. Ik geloof niet echt in “slechte rassen”, iedere hond is anders en verdient een eerlijke kans en liefdevolle begeleiding. Verder heb ik een auto, dus uitstapjes of ophalen is vaak mogelijk. En ja… als een hond graag bij je op bed kruipt voor extra knuffels, dan vind ik dat helemaal gezellig 🐾 Momenteel heb ik nog geen vaste baan, waardoor ik veel vrije tijd en flexibiliteit heb. Daardoor kan ik huisdieren veel aandacht geven, wandelingen plannen en mijn dagelijkse routine aanpassen aan hun behoeften Ik zorg voor een rustige, veilige en vertrouwde omgeving voor ieder huisdier en heb een omheind tuintje. Ik geef veel aandacht, houd rekening met hun karakter en behoeften en zorg voor duidelijke structuur, veilige wandelingen en goede verzorging

Over: Sinds dat ik klein ben heb ik dieren om me heen, honden, katten, konijnen, cavia’s, kippen, eenden. Noem het maar op. Mijn favoriet blijft wel een hond ;) Ik loop graag in de natuur met mijn hond (Diablo) en hij loopt graag met vriendjes. En als het om een lange wandeling gaat vraag ik natuurlijk ietsjes meer.

“Via het internet heb ik de organisatie Rover gevonden. Wij zijn op vakantie in Callantsoog en kregen het bericht dat er een goede vriend was overleden. Wij wilden naar de crematie maar konden onze hond Dex niet in de Caravan achterlaten vanwege de hoge temperaturen. Via Rover zijn wij met Maria in contact gekomen en haar uitgekozen om een dag en nacht op Dex te passen. Maria is een superlieve vrouw en dierenvriend, het klikte tussen ons en Dex en wij konden hem met een zeer rustig gevoel bij haar achterlaten. “Our 8 year-old female German Shepherd, Onyx, stayed with Mathilda for more than a week whilst we traveled abroad. It was the 1st time Onyx did not travel with us and stayed with someone else. Being a shepherd, this breed of dog is extremely close to its family and we did not know which reaction to expect on her part. Mathilda is such an experienced and dog loving person that within the first 24 hours there was a strong connection built between Onyx and Mathilda. We received numerous pictures of Onyx socializing with other dogs and being treated to extensive multiple hours walks in nature. Mathilda lives in a privileged neighborhood that has large green nature close by which dogs love on the leash or in complete freedom. When we came to pick Onyx up, she did not rush out to the car whilst loading her stuff but patiently stayed and waited with Mathilda: that alone tells it all… We are extremely thankful to Mathilda for the outstanding care she has provided to Onyx including making her even more friendly with other dogs, including ignoring not so social dogs we get back a better trained dog after her stay. Should there be future instances to require assistance with Onyx, Mathilda will be our 1st point of call and we warmly recommend her to anyone needing help with their dog.”
