“Kennismaking van te voren was fijn. Maria is een rustige vrouw met een goeden hart voor de honden en hun eigenaren. Iedere dag een aantal filmpjes en foto s Communicatie en kort lijntje was duidelijk en hartelijk. Kon aan Jack zien dat hij het erg fijn bij haar had. Ze heeft hem niet alleen gelaten, wat Jack heel erg nodig had, zeker omdat het ook zijn eerste keer was Hij heeft even aanpassing nodig gehad en daar heeft ze hem ook alle ruimte voor gegeven. We kregen een blije Jack terug en dat vertelde ons alles. Ze heeft voor een fijne thuis van huis gezorgd, met de vele wandelingen. It would be wonderful to work with you and take care of your pet! I’m working part-time so I'm flexible with my time. It is also possible for me to stay overnight to take care of the pet. You can always discuss the time and date with me and it will be made sure of to find a solution that fits both of our schedules. I have a cat but he prefers to go outdoors or visit my other family near us. I have a small garden where it is always possible to play and we have a big house with 5 bedrooms so space is not a problem! Also can crate your pet if it is needed from the owner.

Groetjes van Serge Momenteel werk ik alle dagen van de week op de maandag na vanuit huis. Ik zou dan bijvoorbeeld tussen 12:00 en 13:30 uur tijd hebben om met je hondje te gaan wandelen. Ik woon samen met mijn partner in een appartement in het centrum van Purmerend. Tot voor kort deelden we onze woning met onze 2 Schipperkes. Ze zijn eerder dit jaar overleden op een respectabele leeftijd van 16 jaar.... We zouden graag weer hondjes nemen, alleen dan op de wat langere termijn. En ondertussen zou ik graag je hondje bijvoorbeeld tussen de middag kunnen uitlaten. Daarnaast zou ik bij mij thuis een aantal dagen op een kleinere hond kunnen passen. Ik zeg kleiner, omdat ik een relatief kleine woning heb zonder tuin. Maar er zijn zat groenvoorzieningen in de buurt om met je hondje te kunnen wandelen.

I’m also very happy to look after cats. “We waren best gespannen om ons hondje Blizzard voor het eerst bij een onbekende achter te laten, maar vanaf het eerste contact met Shaima hadden we meteen een goed gevoel. Ze was ontzettend warm en liefdevol, en haar ervaring met honden straalde er vanaf. Dat stelde ons enorm gerust. Tijdens het verblijf hield Shaima ons dagelijks op de hoogte met lieve berichtjes, updates en leuke foto’s. Ze nam echt de tijd om ons mee te nemen in hoe het met Blizzard ging, wat we als heel prettig hebben ervaren. Ze stelde gerust vragen wanneer dat nodig was, wat haar zorgzaamheid en betrokkenheid alleen maar bevestigde. Wat we ook enorm waardeerden: Shaima merkte dat Blizzard soms wat vaker naar buiten moest omdat hij het niet altijd even goed kon ophouden. Ze heeft zich daar meteen op aangepast en is meerdere keren korte wandelmomentjes met hem gegaan. Zo lief, ze keek echt naar wat hij nodig had. En het allerbelangrijkste: Blizzard had het zó naar zijn zin, dat we bij het ophalen bijna het gevoel kregen dat hij liever nog even bij Shaima bleef. Op de foto’s en video’s zagen we ook hoe blij en ontspannen hij was, en hoe liefdevol zij met hem omging. Wij komen zéker terug bij Shaima. Het was voor ons (en voor Blizzard!) echt een ontzettend fijne en warme ervaring. We raden haar met alle vertrouwen aan!”
Over: I've been around dogs my whole life — my family's first was a Jack Russell Terrier, followed by two Bichons, and my sister has two Bichons of her own. Dogs have always been part of my world, so I'm completely at ease minding them and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. This May, my partner and I adopted Nori, our gorgeous Italian Greyhound. Raising him has sharpened my hands-on ownership skills. Everything from house-training to managing his big personality in a small body. He's playful, energetic, and always up for making a new friend, so if your dog enjoys company, he'll be a great buddy for the stay. Italian Greyhounds are famously "Velcro dogs," so I'm well used to giving a dog my full attention throughout the day. I work from home full-time, which means your pet won't be left alone for long stretches — if they need someone around consistently, I'd love to help Pet care fits naturally into my day since I work from home full-time. Mornings start with a walk, often down to Sarphatipark, followed by regular breaks throughout the day for toilet breaks, play, and outdoor time on my rooftop terrace. Evenings bring a longer walk or wind-down together. With my own Italian Greyhound, Nori, I've learned that frequent shorter outings work better than one long walk. Especially for high-energy or clingy breeds. Your dog won't be left alone for long stretches; consistent attention is just part of how my days already run. I follow each dog's normal routine - feeding, walks, meds, wherever we are. At home, they join Nori and me around the flat. Never left alone for long. I also live with my partner Abbie who's just a trustworthy and similar lover of dogs so there will always be 4 eyes on your pet :)

As a freelancer, I mostly work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility during the day. It also means I'm not rushing between appointments, so your dog or cat gets my full attention while I'm there. When pets stay with me, they have plenty of room to settle in. My apartment has a big, spacious living room and kitchen area, and I usually set up a cozy corner just for them so they always have a safe spot to retreat to, while still being free to roam and explore the rest of the apartment. I let them explore at their own pace and approach me when they're ready, rather than the other way around. I might try to make contact with a treat here and there, but I never force it if they're not comfortable yet. For walks, I'm lucky to live close to three parks, so there's always a good spot nearby to stretch their legs.

Ik heb een tijd op een ranch in Duitsland gewoond waar we twee Australian Shepherds en een Border Collie hadden. De Aussies heb ik grotendeels vanaf pup opgevoed en met onze Border Collie, die een lastig verleden had, ben ik ook meerdere keren naar de hondenschool geweest. Daardoor heb ik geleerd goed om te gaan met verschillende karakters en gedragingen. Daarnaast heb ik vaak opgepast op de Jack Russell van een vriendin tijdens vakanties en andere momenten. Ik hou van lange wandelingen, avontuur en actief bezig zijn met honden — vroeger nam ik ze zelfs regelmatig mee tijdens het paardrijden 😊 Ik ben geduldig, rustig en speels, maar durf ook duidelijk en consequent te zijn wanneer dat nodig is. Medicatie geven is geen probleem en ik sta open voor alle soorten honden. Ik geloof niet echt in “slechte rassen”, iedere hond is anders en verdient een eerlijke kans en liefdevolle begeleiding. Verder heb ik een auto, dus uitstapjes of ophalen is vaak mogelijk. En ja… als een hond graag bij je op bed kruipt voor extra knuffels, dan vind ik dat helemaal gezellig 🐾 Momenteel heb ik nog geen vaste baan, waardoor ik veel vrije tijd en flexibiliteit heb. I get along with dogs and wish I could have one myself but since I live alone it’s difficult for me to fully commit at this time - for the time being I would love to sit! Longer walks are also possible before or after work. On weekends we can go for adventures to the many parks of Amsterdam. I have a bakfiets, so if it’s ok with you, we can get around town with the wind in our fur! I have a clean and welcoming environment in my home, with room for playing and napping. I live on the third floor, and there are stairs inside my apartment too. I’m happy to carry smaller dogs up and down, but this might be something to consider. In general, when I am caring for a dog, it’s much like having a child to take care of. I do have an 8 year old (who is very sweet and gentle with dogs), so your dog has to be friendly and comfortable with children. I also need to know how your dog is with other dogs and people, so I can act accordingly. I never let dogs off leash before i know them very well, because I take my responsibility very seriously. And always pick up poop!

I currently have a 30 kg Goldendoodle, Willow, whom I’ve spent the past two years intensively training as my service dog. I always make sure any dog staying with us feels comfortable around her. Since I work from home, dogs are rarely left alone and get plenty of supervision and attention throughout the day. Dogs are treated like part of the family in our home, they’re welcome on the furniture (clean paws permitting!) and can sleep in my bedroom. I follow each owner’s routines and rules closely and will always take the time to help your dog feel safe, relaxed, and at home. And obviously will send pictures throughout the day of your pup; as a dog owner, that’s what I’d want as well!

We currently don’t have any pets of our own. I can do both during the week and weekends. Right now I work from home 4 days a week and I go to the office once a week. This is flexible though, so I can also stay home full-time if needed. I love giving lots of affection and spending quality time with the pets in my care. I do have an active social life, but when I have an animal with me, I try to stay home as much as possible so they feel accompanied and don’t feel alone. If it’s a dog, I really enjoy long walks, so I’d take them along with me. I prefer looking after pets at my own place, but in some cases I’m also open to pet sitting at the owner’s home. As for sleeping, I’m flexible, they can sleep in the bedroom with me or in the living room, whatever they’re more used to. As for pets, I don’t own any currently.

“Kennismaking van te voren was fijn. Maria is een rustige vrouw met een goeden hart voor de honden en hun eigenaren. Iedere dag een aantal filmpjes en foto s Communicatie en kort lijntje was duidelijk en hartelijk. Kon aan Jack zien dat hij het erg fijn bij haar had. Ze heeft hem niet alleen gelaten, wat Jack heel erg nodig had, zeker omdat het ook zijn eerste keer was Hij heeft even aanpassing nodig gehad en daar heeft ze hem ook alle ruimte voor gegeven. We kregen een blije Jack terug en dat vertelde ons alles. Ze heeft voor een fijne thuis van huis gezorgd, met de vele wandelingen. “We waren best gespannen om ons hondje Blizzard voor het eerst bij een onbekende achter te laten, maar vanaf het eerste contact met Shaima hadden we meteen een goed gevoel. Ze was ontzettend warm en liefdevol, en haar ervaring met honden straalde er vanaf. Dat stelde ons enorm gerust. Tijdens het verblijf hield Shaima ons dagelijks op de hoogte met lieve berichtjes, updates en leuke foto’s. Ze nam echt de tijd om ons mee te nemen in hoe het met Blizzard ging, wat we als heel prettig hebben ervaren. Ze stelde gerust vragen wanneer dat nodig was, wat haar zorgzaamheid en betrokkenheid alleen maar bevestigde. Wat we ook enorm waardeerden: Shaima merkte dat Blizzard soms wat vaker naar buiten moest omdat hij het niet altijd even goed kon ophouden. Ze heeft zich daar meteen op aangepast en is meerdere keren korte wandelmomentjes met hem gegaan. Zo lief, ze keek echt naar wat hij nodig had. En het allerbelangrijkste: Blizzard had het zó naar zijn zin, dat we bij het ophalen bijna het gevoel kregen dat hij liever nog even bij Shaima bleef. Op de foto’s en video’s zagen we ook hoe blij en ontspannen hij was, en hoe liefdevol zij met hem omging. Wij komen zéker terug bij Shaima. Het was voor ons (en voor Blizzard!) echt een ontzettend fijne en warme ervaring. We raden haar met alle vertrouwen aan!”
Over: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My family had three dogs over the years, and I looked after each one from puppy all the way to senior age, including all the extra care and patience that comes with an older dog. Most recently, I took care of a dog that needed daily medicine and treatment for a ripped paw pad, so I'm comfortable with health routines too, not just walks. I've also worked as a dog walker and sitter, and whether it's your dog or my own, I treat them all the same way: like family. As a freelancer, I mostly work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility during the day. That means I can fit in walks, feedings, or check-ins at times that actually work for your schedule, not just early mornings or evenings. It also means I'm not rushing between appointments, so your dog or cat gets my full attention while I'm there. When pets stay with me, they have plenty of room to settle in. My apartment has a big, spacious living room and kitchen area, and I usually set up a cozy corner just for them so they always have a safe spot to retreat to, while still being free to roam and explore the rest of the apartment. I let them explore at their own pace and approach me when they're ready, rather than the other way around. I might try to make contact with a treat here and there, but I never force it if they're not comfortable yet. For walks, I'm lucky to live close to three parks, so there's always a good spot nearby to stretch their legs.
“Amanda and her partner Marinna are fantastic. They took such great care of Charlie while we were away for 5 nights. They kept us updated with photos, and we could see that Charlie felt really comfortable with them. Charlie is reactive toward intact male dogs which can sometimes worry us when he is with new sitters. However, Amanda and Marinna assured us that they are familiar with reactivity, and they indeed seemed to manage just fine. Over: I have extensive experience in caring for dogs, having looked after small, medium, and large breeds, and I have a deep affection for them. My cats are also friendly with dogs, creating a harmonious environment. Additionally, I have significant experience grooming both cats and dogs. For the boarding and daycare, I'm doing writing work from home, so your pets will not be left alone for more than 2 or 3 hours at a time. Furry will be walked twice daily (30–60 minutes). I'm Han from China, currently studying and residing in Wageningen. I'm fluent in English and enjoy outdoor sports and baking. I live in a spacious house. I have a garden and lawn where we spend quality time playing with our sweets. In my home, I have two cats who are cherished members of my family.
Over: I’ve had dogs since I was young and have years of hands-on experience caring for them. I currently have a 30 kg Goldendoodle, Willow, whom I’ve spent the past two years intensively training as my service dog. Through this, I’ve gained lots of experience with obedience, consistency, positive reinforcement, routines, and understanding dog behavior. I’m also very comfortable with larger, energetic dogs and providing plenty of exercise, structure, and, of course, cuddles! 🐾 I work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule and am around throughout most of the day. Dogs in my care get plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and cuddles. I normally take Willow on three longer walks and two shorter walks each day, so your dog can easily join our routine. I’m also happy to adjust my schedule to your dog’s usual walking, feeding, and sleeping routine so they feel as comfortable and at home as possible. 🐾 Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always make sure any dog staying with us feels comfortable around her. Since I work from home, dogs are rarely left alone and get plenty of supervision and attention throughout the day. Dogs are treated like part of the family in our home, they’re welcome on the furniture (clean paws permitting!) and can sleep in my bedroom. I follow each owner’s routines and rules closely and will always take the time to help your dog feel safe, relaxed, and at home. And obviously will send pictures throughout the day of your pup; as a dog owner, that’s what I’d want as well!
