Over: Ik heb zelf 12 jaar lang een hond gehad die ik met veel liefde heb mogen verzorgen en een super gelukkig hondje was. Vanaf mijn 6e tot 18 jaar was onze hond bij ons. Kort geleden hebben we afscheid moeten nemen van onze lieve hond. We hebben veel ervaring met honden en verzorgen ze met alle liefde. Momenteel heb ik vakantie en ben ik beschikbaar om in de vakantieperiodes op honden te passen. Ik ben de hele dag (niet elke dag) beschikbaar. Ik heb een grote tuin waar de honden lekker kunnen rennen en spelen. Het is een fijne en rustige omgeving. Binnen hebben ze ook alle ruimte om te kunnen spelen. We hebben helaas geen hondje meer, maar wel nog een hamster waar de honden natuurlijk niet bij kunnen komen.

Over: I was born in a small town in Hungary, and I lived with lots of animals as a child. I would rather spend my free time with them than with people. I love them very much, especially dogs, cats, and horses. I wanted to be a veterinarian for a long time, but I wasn't a good enough student. I currently have a guinea pig; her old companion recently died (he was 7), so I'm looking for a companion for her. I work from home, and every day I go out to the park next to us to walk and get some fresh air, so it's not a problem to take your pet for a walk or two during the day. My work hours are flexible, so I can go and feed the cats. The size of the dogs is not important; I get along well with them, and they immediately feel my love and trust me. We have plenty of space in the house, with a comfortable sofa and soft blankets. I will be happy to take care of your dog and walk it. There are very nice parks in this area. I will also take care of cats, and I will be happy to be a sitter for a full day. If you go on vacation, you can safely trust me with your pets. Over: k heb ervaring met het verzorgen en uitlaten van honden van verschillende leeftijden en karakters. Ik vind het belangrijk om goed te kijken naar de behoeften van iedere hond, of het nu gaat om een energieke wandeling, spelen en aandacht, of juist een rustige aanpak. Door mijn geduldige en verantwoordelijke houding voelen honden zich snel op hun gemak bij mij. Ik zorg ervoor dat ze voldoende beweging, aandacht en verzorging krijgen, zodat ze zich veilig en gelukkig voelen terwijl hun baasje weg is. Ik werk vanuit huis, waardoor ik veel tijd heb om aandacht te geven aan de dieren die ik verzorg. Ik laat graag de hond uit en knuffel met de poezen. Momenteel zit ik in de ziektewet en ben ik elke dag thuis met de poezen en mijn dochter (4 april 2025). Ik wandelde elke dag met onze grote Zwitser, helaas in december 2024 moeten laten gaan :( . nieuwe wandelmaatjes welkom! Ik zorg altijd voor een rustige ontmoeting met het dier. Onze poezen hebben een eigen klimmuur dus die kunnen waarnodig de rust opzoeken. Onze poezen kunnen 100% met honden. P

Over: Hi! 😊 Honden zijn voor mij echt familie en ik vind het belangrijk dat ze zich veilig, geliefd en op hun gemak voelen. Ik heb een tijd op een ranch in Duitsland gewoond waar we twee Australian Shepherds en een Border Collie hadden. De Aussies heb ik grotendeels vanaf pup opgevoed en met onze Border Collie, die een lastig verleden had, ben ik ook meerdere keren naar de hondenschool geweest. Daardoor heb ik geleerd goed om te gaan met verschillende karakters en gedragingen. Daarnaast heb ik vaak opgepast op de Jack Russell van een vriendin tijdens vakanties en andere momenten. Ik hou van lange wandelingen, avontuur en actief bezig zijn met honden — vroeger nam ik ze zelfs regelmatig mee tijdens het paardrijden 😊 Ik ben geduldig, rustig en speels, maar durf ook duidelijk en consequent te zijn wanneer dat nodig is. Medicatie geven is geen probleem en ik sta open voor alle soorten honden. Ik geloof niet echt in “slechte rassen”, iedere hond is anders en verdient een eerlijke kans en liefdevolle begeleiding. Verder heb ik een auto, dus uitstapjes of ophalen is vaak mogelijk. En ja… als een hond graag bij je op bed kruipt voor extra knuffels, dan vind ik dat helemaal gezellig 🐾 Momenteel heb ik nog geen vaste baan, waardoor ik veel vrije tijd en flexibiliteit heb. Daardoor kan ik huisdieren veel aandacht geven, wandelingen plannen en mijn dagelijkse routine aanpassen aan hun behoeften Ik zorg voor een rustige, veilige en vertrouwde omgeving voor ieder huisdier en heb een omheind tuintje. Er is volop tijd voor aandacht, spelen, rust en knuffels. Ik stem de verzorging altijd af op de wensen van het baasje, zodat jouw hond de zorg krijgt die hij of zij verdient.

I truly enjoy spending time with dogs—whether that’s going for active walks and playtime or simply relaxing together for a cuddle on the couch. I am the sole caregiver and will always be the one responsible for your dog’s care and supervision. I understand how important it is to feel that your pet is in safe, reliable hands. I do have an 8-year-old child who is present after school hours. He is very gentle, respectful, and absolutely loves dogs. He enjoys playing and cuddling with them, but your dog will never be left alone with him—I am always present and supervising interactions to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety. I work full time, but I am self-employed, so can bring dogs with me to work. From there we can go for a longer walk around lunchtime, or shorter toilet breaks as necessary. Longer walks are also possible before or after work. On weekends we can go for adventures to the many parks of Amsterdam. I have a bakfiets, so if it’s ok with you, we can get around town with the wind in our fur! I have a clean and welcoming environment in my home, with room for playing and napping. I live on the third floor, and there are stairs inside my apartment too. I’m happy to carry smaller dogs up and down, but this might be something to consider. In general, when I am caring for a dog, it’s much like having a child to take care of. I do have an 8 year old (who is very sweet and gentle with dogs), so your dog has to be friendly and comfortable with children. I also need to know how your dog is with other dogs and people, so I can act accordingly. I never let dogs off leash before i know them very well, because I take my responsibility very seriously. And always pick up poop!

Over: Biggest fan of animals 😍 we always had pets when I was growing up and before I moved to Amsterdam, but hasn't worked out for me to have a pet since living here due to travels. Happy to take care of your dog or cat for some days , and ideally make it a longer term relationship ☺️ I mostly work from home these days and live near a park, so we will have amazing walks!

She agreed to watch my dog less than 12 hours in advance, and then agreed to meet me at the train station instead of me dropping off the dog at her place, which shows how kind and thoughtful and helpful she is!!! The weekend that my dog spent at her place was amazing too. I got updates 5+ times per week, with pictures of my dog, my dog was walked for multiple hours a day, she was allowed everywhere in the house; and Lada was veryyyy attentive to her needs and always checked in with me on what she could do extra. She even invited me for tea after the dog stay. I genuinely couldn’t recommend her more, i’d trust her to watch my dog anytime!”

“Our Mabel is not only a 4 months old puppy, but an Aussie puppy, which makes it A LOT to take in: a LOT of energy, chewing, potty incidents, so we were very worried with leaving her with someone else for the first time. Paulien took excellent care of her for the 3 days we were out of town - she was very patient, attentive, understanding of everything that came with the job. She was constantly in touch with us, sending us plenty of videos and pictures, asking questions if necessary - the communication was fun and top notch, and I could feel that Paulien was having fun with Mabel despite all the challenges (or even enjoying them! ?) and that Mabel had fun as well.
