Ze heeft hem niet alleen gelaten, wat Jack heel erg nodig had, zeker omdat het ook zijn eerste keer was Hij heeft even aanpassing nodig gehad en daar heeft ze hem ook alle ruimte voor gegeven. We kregen een blije Jack terug en dat vertelde ons alles. Ze heeft voor een fijne thuis van huis gezorgd, met de vele wandelingen. De eigenaar moet het dier zelf goed vast houden maar nemen alle tijd om het zo een prettig mogelijke ervaring te maken.

Over: I've been around dogs my whole life — my family's first was a Jack Russell Terrier, followed by two Bichons, and my sister has two Bichons of her own. Dogs have always been part of my world, so I'm completely at ease minding them and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. This May, my partner and I adopted Nori, our gorgeous Italian Greyhound. Raising him has sharpened my hands-on ownership skills. Everything from house-training to managing his big personality in a small body. He's playful, energetic, and always up for making a new friend, so if your dog enjoys company, he'll be a great buddy for the stay. Italian Greyhounds are famously "Velcro dogs," so I'm well used to giving a dog my full attention throughout the day. I work from home full-time, which means your pet won't be left alone for long stretches — if they need someone around consistently, I'd love to help Pet care fits naturally into my day since I work from home full-time. Mornings start with a walk, often down to Sarphatipark, followed by regular breaks throughout the day for toilet breaks, play, and outdoor time on my rooftop terrace. Evenings bring a longer walk or wind-down together. With my own Italian Greyhound, Nori, I've learned that frequent shorter outings work better than one long walk. Especially for high-energy or clingy breeds. Your dog won't be left alone for long stretches; consistent attention is just part of how my days already run. I follow each dog's normal routine - feeding, walks, meds, wherever we are. At home, they join Nori and me around the flat. Never left alone for long. I also live with my partner Abbie who's just a trustworthy and similar lover of dogs so there will always be 4 eyes on your pet :)

Over: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My family had three dogs over the years, and I looked after each one from puppy all the way to senior age, including all the extra care and patience that comes with an older dog. Most recently, I took care of a dog that needed daily medicine and treatment for a ripped paw pad, so I'm comfortable with health routines too, not just walks. I've also worked as a dog walker and sitter, and whether it's your dog or my own, I treat them all the same way: like family. As a freelancer, I mostly work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility during the day. That means I can fit in walks, feedings, or check-ins at times that actually work for your schedule, not just early mornings or evenings. It also means I'm not rushing between appointments, so your dog or cat gets my full attention while I'm there. When pets stay with me, they have plenty of room to settle in. My apartment has a big, spacious living room and kitchen area, and I usually set up a cozy corner just for them so they always have a safe spot to retreat to, while still being free to roam and explore the rest of the apartment. I let them explore at their own pace and approach me when they're ready, rather than the other way around. I might try to make contact with a treat here and there, but I never force it if they're not comfortable yet. For walks, I'm lucky to live close to three parks, so there's always a good spot nearby to stretch their legs.

They kept us updated with photos, and we could see that Charlie felt really comfortable with them. Charlie is reactive toward intact male dogs which can sometimes worry us when he is with new sitters. “We waren best gespannen om ons hondje Blizzard voor het eerst bij een onbekende achter te laten, maar vanaf het eerste contact met Shaima hadden we meteen een goed gevoel. Ze was ontzettend warm en liefdevol, en haar ervaring met honden straalde er vanaf. Dat stelde ons enorm gerust. Tijdens het verblijf hield Shaima ons dagelijks op de hoogte met lieve berichtjes, updates en leuke foto’s. Ze nam echt de tijd om ons mee te nemen in hoe het met Blizzard ging, wat we als heel prettig hebben ervaren. Ze stelde gerust vragen wanneer dat nodig was, wat haar zorgzaamheid en betrokkenheid alleen maar bevestigde. Wat we ook enorm waardeerden: Shaima merkte dat Blizzard soms wat vaker naar buiten moest omdat hij het niet altijd even goed kon ophouden. Ze heeft zich daar meteen op aangepast en is meerdere keren korte wandelmomentjes met hem gegaan. Zo lief, ze keek echt naar wat hij nodig had. En het allerbelangrijkste: Blizzard had het zó naar zijn zin, dat we bij het ophalen bijna het gevoel kregen dat hij liever nog even bij Shaima bleef. Op de foto’s en video’s zagen we ook hoe blij en ontspannen hij was, en hoe liefdevol zij met hem omging. Wij komen zéker terug bij Shaima. Het was voor ons (en voor Blizzard!) echt een ontzettend fijne en warme ervaring. We raden haar met alle vertrouwen aan!”

Over: Als kind heb ik mijn eerste hond gekregen, op voorwaarde dat ik haar uit zou laten. Dat was geen probleem, ik kwam zo mooi onder de afwas uit! Als volwassene heb ik twee honden gehad, één is 11 jaar geworden en één 16. Nu ben ik hondloos, maar nog even gek op honden als toen ik 10 was. Ik werk veel vanuit huis, wandel tussen de middag graag een rondje en doe dat het liefst in goed gezelschap. Meerdere korte rondjes is ook een optie Ik woon in een redelijk groot huis met tuin vlak bij het park van Luna. Binnen mag de hond in principe lekker vrij lopen en liggen

Over: k heb ervaring met het verzorgen en uitlaten van honden van verschillende leeftijden en karakters. Ik vind het belangrijk om goed te kijken naar de behoeften van iedere hond, of het nu gaat om een energieke wandeling, spelen en aandacht, of juist een rustige aanpak. Door mijn geduldige en verantwoordelijke houding voelen honden zich snel op hun gemak bij mij. Ik zorg ervoor dat ze voldoende beweging, aandacht en verzorging krijgen, zodat ze zich veilig en gelukkig voelen terwijl hun baasje weg is. Ik werk vanuit huis, waardoor ik veel tijd heb om aandacht te geven aan de dieren die ik verzorg. Bij opvang thuis krijgen dieren veel aandacht, gezelschap en een rustige, veilige omgeving. Bij verzorging aan huis zorg ik voor voeding, vers water, speeltijd, knuffels, kattenbakreiniging en indien gewenst een wandeling. Ik behandel elk huisdier met dezelfde liefde en zorg als mijn eigen dieren.

Over: Sinds mijn geboorte ben ik al omringd door huisdieren, poezen, honden, konijnen, vogels, zelf paarden. Ik zou mij geen leven zonder huisdieren kunnen voorstellen. Ik laat graag de hond uit en knuffel met de poezen. Momenteel zit ik in de ziektewet en ben ik elke dag thuis met de poezen en mijn dochter (4 april 2025). Ik wandelde elke dag met onze grote Zwitser, helaas in december 2024 moeten laten gaan :( . nieuwe wandelmaatjes welkom! Ik zorg altijd voor een rustige ontmoeting met het dier. Over: Hi! 😊 Honden zijn voor mij echt familie en ik vind het belangrijk dat ze zich veilig, geliefd en op hun gemak voelen. Ik heb een tijd op een ranch in Duitsland gewoond waar we twee Australian Shepherds en een Border Collie hadden. De Aussies heb ik grotendeels vanaf pup opgevoed en met onze Border Collie, die een lastig verleden had, ben ik ook meerdere keren naar de hondenschool geweest. Daardoor heb ik geleerd goed om te gaan met verschillende karakters en gedragingen. Daarnaast heb ik vaak opgepast op de Jack Russell van een vriendin tijdens vakanties en andere momenten. Ik hou van lange wandelingen, avontuur en actief bezig zijn met honden — vroeger nam ik ze zelfs regelmatig mee tijdens het paardrijden 😊 Ik ben geduldig, rustig en speels, maar durf ook duidelijk en consequent te zijn wanneer dat nodig is. Medicatie geven is geen probleem en ik sta open voor alle soorten honden. Ik geloof niet echt in “slechte rassen”, iedere hond is anders en verdient een eerlijke kans en liefdevolle begeleiding. Verder heb ik een auto, dus uitstapjes of ophalen is vaak mogelijk. En ja… als een hond graag bij je op bed kruipt voor extra knuffels, dan vind ik dat helemaal gezellig 🐾 Momenteel heb ik nog geen vaste baan, waardoor ik veel vrije tijd en flexibiliteit heb. Daardoor kan ik huisdieren veel aandacht geven, wandelingen plannen en mijn dagelijkse routine aanpassen aan hun behoeften Ik zorg voor een rustige, veilige en vertrouwde omgeving voor ieder huisdier en heb een omheind tuintje. Over: I grew up around dogs my whole life, so I’m very experienced taking care of them. Since moving to Amsterdam, I’ve regularly pet sat for friends here, everything from quick drop-in visits to longer stays of up to 15 days. I live in a big apartment with my partner, who also loves pets, so we’d be two people looking after yours and it would rarely be alone. We’re close to Erasmuspark, great for walks and playtime, and our place has a big balcony too. I work from home most of the time and only go to the office once a week, so I’m around most days. Happy to take dogs on long walks, or just spend lots of time at home if it’s a cat! Sleeping in the bedroom with me is totally fine, or the living room if your pet prefers sleeping on its own. We currently don’t have any pets of our own. I can do both during the week and weekends. Right now I work from home 4 days a week and I go to the office once a week. This is flexible though, so I can also stay home full-time if needed. I love giving lots of affection and spending quality time with the pets in my care. I do have an active social life, but when I have an animal with me, I try to stay home as much as possible so they feel accompanied and don’t feel alone. If it’s a dog, I really enjoy long walks, so I’d take them along with me. I prefer looking after pets at my own place, but in some cases I’m also open to pet sitting at the owner’s home. As for sleeping, I’m flexible, they can sleep in the bedroom with me or in the living room, whatever they’re more used to. As for pets, I don’t own any currently.

Over: Ik heb als kind zelf altijd honden gehad en ze ook altijd uitgelaten en veel met ze geknuffeld en gespeeld. Zelf hebben wij een chihuahua gehad die hebben we helaas moeten laten inslapen. Maar de liefde voor honden is er nog steeds mijn kindjes zijn ook gek op dieren. Ik werk in de zorg als zzp’er maar werk nooit hele lange uren achter elkaar kom tussen door altijd naar huis. Daarom hoeft de hond nooit langer dan 4 uurtjes alleen te zijn. In general, when I am caring for a dog, it’s much like having a child to take care of. I do have an 8 year old (who is very sweet and gentle with dogs), so your dog has to be friendly and comfortable with children. I also need to know how your dog is with other dogs and people, so I can act accordingly. I never let dogs off leash before i know them very well, because I take my responsibility very seriously. And always pick up poop!

Over: I got my first dog in 2013, a Weimaraner. He taught me a lot of being a pet owner. I understand the importance of a good diet, a good amount of exercise, as well as dog language. I know the impact of having rest time before and after meals when exercise is involved. If they’re active dogs, I know running exercises are good but impact activities such as jumping could affect their hips. I know how to keep their teeth and ears clean, as well as the key to avoid excessive shedding is brushing their coats constantly. I am also able to potty train puppies and teach them basic commands like sitting, waiting, going to their bed or crate, or leaving stuff they shouldn’t grab or eat. Of course this is not done in one day and consistency is key for training a puppy. Senior dogs are not as active any more but they still require gentle walks, potty breaks, and of course, respecting their own space since they enjoy some peace and quite. I’ve been doing dogsitting for a bit more than a year full time but I currently have limited availability during the week so I’m mainly available on the weekends or some holidays. I don’t have pets of my own right now so your pet will receive my full attention. I don’t have a garden but over the weekends I have full availability for walks, potty breaks, and play sessions. I don’t mind pets walking around the house while I’m present. In my experience, a well exercised pet is not really a problem inside the house :) I can keep you updated by text with pictures or videos as often as possible.

Over: I began working with animals in 2016 through Paws and Claws, an independent daycare and dog walking service in the UK. My responsibilities included walking, feeding, and caring for dogs throughout the morning and afternoon. I was also responsible for pick-up and drop-off, which involved being trusted with access to clients’ homes. Alongside this, I carried out house calls to help socialise dogs or check in on those who didn’t require a full day of on-site daycare. At the daycare facility, I comfortably handled groups of up to ten dogs of varying breeds, sizes, and temperaments on walks in the local woodlands. As demand grew, I expanded my services to include house and pet sitting across several nearby villages and towns. If a dog needs to be left alone or doesn't get along with other dogs, this can also be easily accommodated during the day in a safe, penned-off area at the facility. On my days off, I am entirely flexible and work from home while finishing my Master's thesis, making my routine highly compatible with dedicated pet care. The location is convenient for dogs and humans alike, being just a short walk from several metro stations and with easy drop-off outside via street access. We are lucky to be located just a stone's throw away from Beatrixpark and Martin Luther Kingpark, with the Amstel and the Amsterdamse Bos close by, providing some wonderful green spaces right on our doorstep for daily walks. All my dog guests get an entire room to themselves to ensure they have their own quiet and safe space to rest—unless, of course, they prefer to cuddle up with us on the sofa or in bed... Because of my professional background managing packs, safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities, whether looking after a pet in my home or yours.

Naast 3dagen op de dierenarts praktijk werken (operaties assisteren, spoed, anesthesie, spreekuur tot baliewerkzaamheden, diabetes/gewichts en bloeddrukconsulente) Kom ik ook in mijn vrije tijd thuis in de vertrouwde omgeving van het dier om u te helpen (denk aan huisbezoeken met verzorging voeren verschonen, nagels knippen, medicijnen geven, anaalklieren legen) Ook doe ik met veel plezier honden uitlaten als ik vrij ben (individueel of groeps) en honden oppassen bij mij thuis als ik vrij ben en of vakantie heb (Dag en vakantie opvang) Hond oppas en opvang in warme huiselijke sfeer vanaf 30 euro pd. Officiele feest en schoolvakantie dagen komt er een toeslag bij van 5 euro per dag. Kleine hond 1-10kg 30 euro per dag Medium hond 10-20 kg 35 euro per dag 20-30kg 40 euro per dag Beschikbaar jaarrond ma wo za zo en nu tm 17 augustus vakantie alle dagen beschikbaar. Ook kerstvakantie 2 weken alle dagen beschikbaar. Hond ophalen 10 euro ex reiskosten Hond brengen 10 euro ex reiskosten Voordelen: geen kennels max 1 hondje per keer erbij lekker los in huis scharrelen spelen in de omheinde tuin, wandelingen, bijna nooit alleen, mogen op de bank en in de slaapkamer, word beschouwd net als onze hondenkinders als gezinslid en geen dier. Een warm huis waar uw dier zich relaxed voelt. Mocht u toch de overige dagen oppas nodig hebben dat ik werk kan ik overleggen de 3 dagen dat ik werk di do vrij mee naar kantoor en wandelen in de pauzes met collega’s en hun hondjes (mijn en andere hondjes zijn altijd mee). Juli tm 17 aug zelf helemaal vrij en oppashonden welkom om te logeren en spelen. Kerstvakantie ook 🎄 Hond dagopvang Hond dag en nachtopvang 🐕 Evt ophalen en brengen is mogenlijk tegen toeslag. Max 1 hond per keer neem ik aan. Of 2 uit 1 gezin Eisen sociaal zindelijk, alleen klein tot medium hondjes! Liefst teefjes of alleen gecastreerde reutjes 2x per jaar mogenlijk als mijne loops zijn. Altijd vrijblijvend een kennismaking vooraf. Let op ik ben geen dierenarts en geef geen consulten , help alleen met handelingen die u als eigenaar ook mag doen. De eigenaar moet het dier zelf goed vast houden maar nemen alle tijd om het zo een prettig mogelijke ervaring te maken.

Over: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My family had three dogs over the years, and I looked after each one from puppy all the way to senior age, including all the extra care and patience that comes with an older dog. Most recently, I took care of a dog that needed daily medicine and treatment for a ripped paw pad, so I'm comfortable with health routines too, not just walks. I've also worked as a dog walker and sitter, and whether it's your dog or my own, I treat them all the same way: like family. As a freelancer, I mostly work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility during the day. That means I can fit in walks, feedings, or check-ins at times that actually work for your schedule, not just early mornings or evenings. It also means I'm not rushing between appointments, so your dog or cat gets my full attention while I'm there. When pets stay with me, they have plenty of room to settle in. My apartment has a big, spacious living room and kitchen area, and I usually set up a cozy corner just for them so they always have a safe spot to retreat to, while still being free to roam and explore the rest of the apartment. I let them explore at their own pace and approach me when they're ready, rather than the other way around. I might try to make contact with a treat here and there, but I never force it if they're not comfortable yet. For walks, I'm lucky to live close to three parks, so there's always a good spot nearby to stretch their legs.

“Amanda and her partner Marinna are fantastic. They took such great care of Charlie while we were away for 5 nights. They kept us updated with photos, and we could see that Charlie felt really comfortable with them. Charlie is reactive toward intact male dogs which can sometimes worry us when he is with new sitters. However, Amanda and Marinna assured us that they are familiar with reactivity, and they indeed seemed to manage just fine. Knowing he was in good hands made our vacation even more enjoyable 🙂 Thank you!!”

“We waren best gespannen om ons hondje Blizzard voor het eerst bij een onbekende achter te laten, maar vanaf het eerste contact met Shaima hadden we meteen een goed gevoel. Ze was ontzettend warm en liefdevol, en haar ervaring met honden straalde er vanaf. Dat stelde ons enorm gerust. Tijdens het verblijf hield Shaima ons dagelijks op de hoogte met lieve berichtjes, updates en leuke foto’s. Ze nam echt de tijd om ons mee te nemen in hoe het met Blizzard ging, wat we als heel prettig hebben ervaren. Ze stelde gerust vragen wanneer dat nodig was, wat haar zorgzaamheid en betrokkenheid alleen maar bevestigde. Wat we ook enorm waardeerden: Shaima merkte dat Blizzard soms wat vaker naar buiten moest omdat hij het niet altijd even goed kon ophouden. Ze heeft zich daar meteen op aangepast en is meerdere keren korte wandelmomentjes met hem gegaan. Zo lief, ze keek echt naar wat hij nodig had. En het allerbelangrijkste: Blizzard had het zó naar zijn zin, dat we bij het ophalen bijna het gevoel kregen dat hij liever nog even bij Shaima bleef. Op de foto’s en video’s zagen we ook hoe blij en ontspannen hij was, en hoe liefdevol zij met hem omging. Wij komen zéker terug bij Shaima. Het was voor ons (en voor Blizzard!) echt een ontzettend fijne en warme ervaring. We raden haar met alle vertrouwen aan!”

“In one word: Amazing! Our little dog Nitro had a fantastic stay at Tripti’s during our X-mas holiday abroad. Tripti informed us daily with several video’s and photos so we could see how Nitro was doing. Nitro was cuttled lots and was spoiled with homemade food, lovely walks and snacks. Thank you Tripti for his wonderful stay. You really took away our worries of leaving him behind as Nitro doesn’t like to travel. Like Nitro, we also had a great holiday, thanks to you. Over: I’m a highly experienced dog owner with 9 years of hands-on care, having raised my dog from puppy to adulthood. I understand energetic, intelligent dogs well and provide consistent, attentive care. I work from home, so dogs are rarely left alone and get plenty of supervision and interaction throughout the day. We live in a house with a garden, offering space to play and relax safely. My household includes two children on a part-time basis, both familiar and comfortable with dogs, creating a calm and social environment for any visiting pet. I'm working from home and can take care of your pet based on it's needs. I'm walking my dog twice a day for roughly 1 - 1,5 hours but I'm very flexible when it comes to my work schedule and walking times. I have a fenced yard and live in a house. My dog Milo is very friendly and gets along with almost all dogs. There are nice parks nearby to provide long walks (Burgermeester park, Jagersveld, Twiske). I am comfortable to give medicine to your dog. I consider myself a very experienced dog owner.
