Ze heeft hem niet alleen gelaten, wat Jack heel erg nodig had, zeker omdat het ook zijn eerste keer was Hij heeft even aanpassing nodig gehad en daar heeft ze hem ook alle ruimte voor gegeven. Over: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My family had three dogs over the years, and I looked after each one from puppy all the way to senior age, including all the extra care and patience that comes with an older dog. Most recently, I took care of a dog that needed daily medicine and treatment for a ripped paw pad, so I'm comfortable with health routines too, not just walks. I've also worked as a dog walker and sitter, and whether it's your dog or my own, I treat them all the same way: like family. As a freelancer, I mostly work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility during the day. That means I can fit in walks, feedings, or check-ins at times that actually work for your schedule, not just early mornings or evenings. It also means I'm not rushing between appointments, so your dog or cat gets my full attention while I'm there. When pets stay with me, they have plenty of room to settle in. My apartment has a big, spacious living room and kitchen area, and I usually set up a cozy corner just for them so they always have a safe spot to retreat to, while still being free to roam and explore the rest of the apartment. I let them explore at their own pace and approach me when they're ready, rather than the other way around. I might try to make contact with a treat here and there, but I never force it if they're not comfortable yet. For walks, I'm lucky to live close to three parks, so there's always a good spot nearby to stretch their legs.

Sky heeft zich heerlijk vermaakt, ook sky was gewoon op vakantie. Hij was heel relaxed en Cristina en haar man waren heel lief voor sky, hij komt heel graag terug! Eigenlijk vindt hij alles prima. Ik pas graag op! Ik werk thuis en ben flexibel daardoor kan ik zeker 4x per dag naar buiten. En waarvan zeker een lange wandeling om op avontuur te gaan! Ik zorg voor een eigen plekje voor de hond waar hij of zij zich lekker kan terugtrekken! Ook heb ik een mooi hoekje voor brokken en water, en af en toe (als het mag) een snack!

She asked the dogs schedule regarding food, walks etc. During the day care Marta updated me with Teddy whereabouts and asked whether some behavior is irregular or not. Marta and Philip even rescheduled their evening since I need them till later than anticipated. Definitely recommend her!”
Over: Having grown up with cats, they have a special place in my heart ❤️ from playful kittens, to independent adults and into their senior years I've seen it all. Over: Hoi! Mijn naam is Maja, ik ben 24 jaar en woon in de binnenstad van Alkmaar. Ik werk full time voor de overheid en draai daarbij onregelmatige diensten. In mijn vrije tijd hou ik van lange wandelingen door de stad of de natuur. Ik vind dit heerlijk om alleen te doen, maar dit is natuurlijk nog leuker om te doen samen met een pluizige viervoeter. Ik ben een enorme dierenvriend en heb altijd veel huisdieren gehad. Vorig jaar is helaas mijn hondje overleden, waarmee ik de wandelingen ontzettend mis. Wel heb ik nog een super lieve poes, maar die houdt niet zo van aan een lijntje lopen :). Ik heb door mijn werk niet meer de tijd en ruimte om een nieuwe hond te adopteren, maar het lijkt me wel super leuk om nu en dan weer een fijne wandeling te maken met een lieve hond. Of jouw hond nu een energieke wandelaar is of liever rustig snuffelt, ik pas me graag aan zijn of haar tempo aan. Ik zorg er vooral voor dat jouw hond zich veilig, op zijn gemak en vooral geliefd voelt. Ik kijk ernaar uit om jou en je viervoeter te ontmoeten! Door mijn onregelmatige diensten verschilt elke week, maar gelukkig kan een wandeling altijd. Ik ben vaker sochtends of smiddags beschikbaar dan ‘s avonds, maar daarin ook heel flexibel! Ik woon in de binnenstad, waar het soms best hectisch kan zijn door de vele mensen. Daarom zoek ik juist graag de natuur op voor een wandeling. Ook hier ben ik altijd alert, scherp en is mijn aandacht altijd bij de hond. Geen enkele hond is hetzelfde, dus ik hoor ook graag of aandachtspunten zijn, zodat ik hier rekening mee kan houden om de hond weer blij en veilig thuis te kunnen brengen.
Over: I got my first dog in 2013, a Weimaraner. He taught me a lot of being a pet owner. I understand the importance of a good diet, a good amount of exercise, as well as dog language. I know the impact of having rest time before and after meals when exercise is involved. If they’re active dogs, I know running exercises are good but impact activities such as jumping could affect their hips. I know how to keep their teeth and ears clean, as well as the key to avoid excessive shedding is brushing their coats constantly. I am also able to potty train puppies and teach them basic commands like sitting, waiting, going to their bed or crate, or leaving stuff they shouldn’t grab or eat. Of course this is not done in one day and consistency is key for training a puppy. Senior dogs are not as active any more but they still require gentle walks, potty breaks, and of course, respecting their own space since they enjoy some peace and quite. I’ve been doing dogsitting for a bit more than a year full time but I currently have limited availability during the week so I’m mainly available on the weekends or some holidays. I don’t have pets of my own right now so your pet will receive my full attention. I don’t have a garden but over the weekends I have full availability for walks, potty breaks, and play sessions. I don’t mind pets walking around the house while I’m present. In my experience, a well exercised pet is not really a problem inside the house :) I can keep you updated by text with pictures or videos as often as possible.

Over: I began working with animals in 2016 through Paws and Claws, an independent daycare and dog walking service in the UK. My responsibilities included walking, feeding, and caring for dogs throughout the morning and afternoon. I was also responsible for pick-up and drop-off, which involved being trusted with access to clients’ homes. Alongside this, I carried out house calls to help socialise dogs or check in on those who didn’t require a full day of on-site daycare. At the daycare facility, I comfortably handled groups of up to ten dogs of varying breeds, sizes, and temperaments on walks in the local woodlands. As demand grew, I expanded my services to include house and pet sitting across several nearby villages and towns. Over the years, I have cared for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs, and I am also happy to tend to gardens or house plants when needed. After moving to Utrecht for my studies, I began offering my own dog walking and pet sitting services to pet owners that I met in the city or at surrounding walking spots. During my time in Utrecht, I also worked for a local hondenuitlaat service, which gave me experience with a lot of common (and some less common) Dutch breeds. A few years later, I am now living in Amsterdam, working full-time with dogs at a fantastic farm facility outside of the city, and finishing up my Master's degree. I work a few days a week at a dog daycare organisation on a rural farmland property outside of Amsterdam. On my working days, if I am looking after a dog, I like to bring them with me so that they can socialise with the pack. All transport is done using a fully converted, dog-friendly wagon with additional AC (and lots of cookies!). If a dog needs to be left alone or doesn't get along with other dogs, this can also be easily accommodated during the day in a safe, penned-off area at the facility. On my days off, I am entirely flexible and work from home while finishing my Master's thesis, making my routine highly compatible with dedicated pet care. I live with my girlfriend in a large, multi-room apartment in the Rivierenbuurt neighbourhood of Amsterdam. The location is convenient for dogs and humans alike, being just a short walk from several metro stations and with easy drop-off outside via street access. We are lucky to be located just a stone's throw away from Beatrixpark and Martin Luther Kingpark, with the Amstel and the Amsterdamse Bos close by, providing some wonderful green spaces right on our doorstep for daily walks. Our apartment has two balconies (one of which gets the sun all day long ☀️☀️☀️) and plenty of comfy space inside for dogs to relax. Over: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My family had three dogs over the years, and I looked after each one from puppy all the way to senior age, including all the extra care and patience that comes with an older dog. Most recently, I took care of a dog that needed daily medicine and treatment for a ripped paw pad, so I'm comfortable with health routines too, not just walks. I've also worked as a dog walker and sitter, and whether it's your dog or my own, I treat them all the same way: like family. As a freelancer, I mostly work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility during the day. That means I can fit in walks, feedings, or check-ins at times that actually work for your schedule, not just early mornings or evenings. It also means I'm not rushing between appointments, so your dog or cat gets my full attention while I'm there. When pets stay with me, they have plenty of room to settle in. My apartment has a big, spacious living room and kitchen area, and I usually set up a cozy corner just for them so they always have a safe spot to retreat to, while still being free to roam and explore the rest of the apartment. I let them explore at their own pace and approach me when they're ready, rather than the other way around. I might try to make contact with a treat here and there, but I never force it if they're not comfortable yet. For walks, I'm lucky to live close to three parks, so there's always a good spot nearby to stretch their legs.
