Pet care experience

Always more than pets, FAMILY!

My name is Tony, better known as Philly. I am a professional dog trainer and also provide boarding. I have always had animals in the house growing up, however, dogs have always been the closest to my heart. I love going to the dog park, beach, even an empty field to play fetch. I have various enrichment activities that will keep your pup occupied while in my care, as well as, a number of cots for those relaxing moments. I have 2 personal pups; Stella, a 7yro Blue Pit and Bagheera, a 2yro Cane Corso. Both are trained and love to play. Any further questions, please simply ask!

Tony was the perfect dog sitter! He was so accommodating to pickup and drop off times changing, he was caring and patient with our dogs, and he even slept on the couch with them while they were having a hard time adapting to his house! He provided a home away from home for our dogs and treated them as his own. He provided videos and photo updates. Also he lives close to the park and was able to take them almost every day while they stayed with him! I could not have asked for a better caretaker - if you’re looking for a sitter for your upcoming trip, look no farther!

Schedule

I do this as a profession so I'm home often. Day starts at 6a for the pups. Potty breaks, breakfast, digestion, play, leash training and decompress/relax. Throughout their stay we go on various walks (group and individual), depending on the weather, we will hit the park for some leg stretching or a simple 2-5mi walk, which is more for my exercise 😅

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives in a house
Has a fenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 2 dogs
Children 6-12 years old
Dogs not allowed on bed
Dogs not allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 0-2 hours

Safety, trust & environment

I have an enclosed backyard with tug toys, flirt sticks, water bowls and various other treats and chew toys. I have a huge garage with industrial fans and industrial exhaust to regulate the room. Theres also a thermostat for added piece of mind.

Pets

A typical day

All of these things are contingent upon the owner's dog. If the dog is well trained, comfortable with other animals and will return upon command - a dog park is expected. Other dogs will get a nice long walk in the park or along a trail somewhere. Exercise and fun is the goal!

I love all pets. I simply need to know if sleeping or playing around other animals is an issue, if the dog is house broken, what makes him/her nervous and what kind of leash is generally used for walks.
