A typical day

Each animal is special and unique. Depending on the animal, their health, age, personality, what they love, enjoy and are accustomed to, is how I decide on the activities we will / can do. I also make sure to get the pet owner(s) for permission for all activities. I love taking them on nature walks, and walks on the beach. Per the owner’s permission of course. Also any outdoor fun and play time with their favorite toys! There will definitely be a lot of cuddles, lots’ of belly rubs, attention, and love! You can never spoil them to much! =} Important: Please make sure to bring any of your pets special/ favorite toys, and blankets they have. It is comforting to them when they have their toys, blankets, etc, with familiar smells when they are staying somewhere unfamiliar. If they have a doggy bed they are used to, you can bring that as well (I do let them sleep in the bed with me if it is okay with the owner). ☺️ Feel free to bring their favorite treats also!

We have worked with Tara 3 times previously and everything thing was fine. This experience was completely different and we would never trust her to take care of our pets again. Tara was booked for drop-in visits Sat evening and Sunday morning for 1 hour to take care of our 2 cats and 2 dogs while we were out of town overnight for a wedding. She arrived on time Sat however she was only at our house for 24 minutes and our downstairs tenant had to let our dogs out because apparently Tara had been in an accident and was injured, which she did not disclose head of time, and didn't want to go up and down the stairs. She texted me after she left that she would not be able to arrive at the time she was booked the next morning (which we had secured weeks in advance) because she forgot about another obligation and would need to come 1.5-2.5 hours later.AT this time I had no choice but to agree since we were out of town but I would not have booked her services if she had let us know this when we made the request. When she finally arrived Sun morning 1.5 hours past the agreed upon time she almost immediately texted me saying that one of our cats swatted her leg and caused it to bleed and she was leaving. This cat has swatted her in the past and I know that is a problem however she offered no solution or suggestions or tried to figure out what could be done to get my dogs out and fed-she just simply left. She also did not close the entry door into our home completely so it was wide open when we returned home a few hours later. Thankfully no one escaped. This is completely irresponsible and unprofessional. Beware.

Tara did a great job with our 2 kitties while we were away for the weekend! She was very communicative and they were very happy when we returned.

Tara was awesome, right from the start she communicated well. She has a friendly personality and did her best to get to know us, she even took notes. We knew she was a good fit for us and our babies right off the bat.
