Steve is my life partner. Together for 8 years. Why I think Steve is a good fit for Rover is because I have witnessed how he interacts with animals and it’s a pleasant experience. Unlike other partners I have s shared my life with, he goes the extra mile. He spends time with them. He holds them. He creates safety, inclusion and kindness to their everyday. Steve brought a Border Collie Aussie mix named Roxy to our relationship. I brought a Dachshund named Beau to the relationship. Beau is one stubborn dog and Steve is patient with him. Roxy is very high strung and sometimes we have to tiptoe around her so that she feels safe and comfortable. He assists me in taking care of both pets whether that means cleaning up after them, feeding them or showing them love every day. Steve takes care of their medical bills. Much like other Dachshunds Beau’s spine has been a challenge for us and Steve has offers he safe space for recovery. As pet owners we offer our dogs supportive supplements for peak performance. We cook and add in fresh protein, which Steve prepares and adds into their food. Steve is gentle and kind with animals as well as people and myself.
