Verfügbarkeit
Now that I’ve officially switched careers, walking, training, and studying for further canine behaviour qualifications is my day to day, so for the most part I’m able to be flexible in timings and days.

Informationen, die Steve B. gerne über dein Haustier wissen möchte
Let me know if they have any behaviours that I should be aware of e.g. wary of strangers or other dogs, or things they are uncomfortable with (e.g. stroking their head is a no-no), as well as any medical conditions or injuries that could affect how I interact with them
Ein typischer Tag
I love to spend the time doing whatever the dog wants to do / is used to doing. For some this means a long walk, others a game of tug or fetch, puzzles and rehearsing their training, or it could mean a quick wee before they go back to nap on the sofa. Every dog is different and we can do any combo of physical or mental exercise!

Compassionate and qualified
Erfahrung in der Haustierbetreuung
Hi, I’m Steve! I’m a qualified dog trainer (The Proud Dog) and walker. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I’m lucky enough to share my home with my own sensitive (and sometimes reactive) dog, who has taught me so much about patience, understanding, and the importance of kind, ethical training. My Qualifications Level 3 & Level 4 qualifications in Canine Behaviour PACT and ABTC certified dog trainer Science-based, welfare-first, ethical approach to all my work with dogs My Approach Every dog is an individual, and I take the time to get to know them and what makes them feel comfortable and safe. I’m happy to walk nervous or reactive dogs who may need a little extra patience and understanding (I’m used to it!). Whether your dog is confident and playful or shy and reserved, I’ll ensure their walk or visit is positive, safe, and enjoyable, so you don’t have to worry.

Steve was great, good communication and flexible. Will definitely book again.

Steve has continued to take Nova for lovely walks while my leg is injured, sometimes with his lovely dog Sam. Nova is always very pleased to see him!

Steve took Nova for a lovely walk which she enjoyed thoroughly. I felt very confident that he would look after her perfectly and he took some lovely pictures 🥰😁

Perfect . Could not be happier to have found Steve who was super competent and I my dogs loved him . After the walk Steve gave me a detailed report which was so good . He has a really good understanding of dog behaviour above what I had expected . My Dobie is super bouncy but I saw a calming effect Steve had on her . Many thanks
