Services
Stephanie can care for
Availability
My schedule is semi-flexible as I work in tech from home and am happy to do that from yours! I normally offer drop in and walking services in the morning and evening, but can sometimes fit in mid-day visits depending on my schedule. Weekdays or weekends are available for booking currently and I’d love to work with you. For in-home sitting, I usually accept 1 extended stay or 2 shorter stays per month, so I do encourage that you book in advance before my schedule fills up!

Safety, trust & environment
I prefer to care for your pet in your home so that they’re comfortable and able to stick to their routines. I am happy to chill with your dog on the couch, throw balls and frisbees, and everything in between
Information Stephanie A. would like to know about your pet
I will require a meet and greet for all house sitting requests, so we can ensure this is a good fit for both me and the dog. I usually ask: - that your profile and requests are accurate for the number of animals I’ll be caring for. This also keeps you covered for Rover’s insurance features! - special care needs - quirks of the house - vet info - feeding schedule - are treats okay? - does your pet have any triggers to be aware of? - does the pet need full time presence or can I run errands etc (so I know what to expect while with your pet)
A typical day
I have a holistic approach to dog enrichment. With my own dog, we start the day with a breakfast puzzle to get the brain going AND slow down his meal. I try to get energy out in the morning so I can work without too many interruptions during the day (but I always take time for the dog’s needs around work). If time allows, I love a leisurely sniff-fari (a sniffing focused walk) that could be anywhere from .3 to 1 mile depending on the dog’s mood. We’ll play fetch or with some tug toys in the afternoon or obedience treat games. The key for me is both physical and mental exercise for a dog of ANY age.

Working & walking with your pets!🐾
Pet care experience
I can’t wait to meet your pets! Whether you need Drop-in, walking, or in home pet sitting services, I can offer the right fit for your needs. Since I work from home, so I’m able to be flexible and present for your dog/cat. I love walking in any weather and am a retired softball player, so I can throw a ball as much as your dog might need. My most recent dog is a senior mutt with complex medical needs, which means I’m comfortable following med schedules and special diets.

Reviews

Stephanie did a great job as usual. She is a wonderful communicator and keeps you updated with how you pet is doing.

Stephanie was very communicative. She respected my living space and took excellent care of my best friend. She took excellent pictures that made me happy and provided me with many memories. Thank you

Stephanie is great! Our cat is very timid and she warmed up quickly and came out for daily pets. Stephanie provided lots of photos and updates. She also took great care of our home. 10/!10! Would definitely recommend and will use again!

You're the best, thank you!
