Trusted Dog Dad in North Van
I have been caring for pets since childhood and have lifelong experience with both dogs and cats. I’m particularly comfortable with dogs who require extra care, patience, or reassurance. My dog Coco is a rescue from Taiwan who arrived extremely fearful of people and new environments. Through consistent care and positive bonding, she has become a loving, loyal, and well adjusted companion. This experience has given me a strong understanding of canine behavior, especially for rescue or sensitive dogs. Coco thrives around other dogs and truly enjoys their company. She is friendly, playful, and always eager to make a new canine friend. Your dog will have a built in playmate and a calm, understanding environment while in my care.

Sean took such great care of Ellie! I received lots of updates and pictures and a very tired pup after all her walks, play time and snuggles. I would highly recommend Sean as a reliable sitter.
Sean and Coco were so amazing for Digger, who is a bit of an anxious boy at times. We had a meet and greet first which made us all very comfortable that everyone would get along. Sean took such great care of our pointer, Boone, while we were on holidays. Boone is a high energy dog and needs a lot of exercise so we need to be selective in boarding him with people to ensure they are able to keep up with him. Sean made sure to take him for plenty of hikes so came back to us tired and happy. Sean's dog Coco was lovely and I think Boone will miss her until the next time we board with him!
Sean took such good care of our little Frenchie Oscar. He is very attentive, caring and sent lots of updates on how our dog was doing. Would definitely use Sean again! 5 Stars!
Sean was fantastic. He took excellent care of our dog, Lily, and sent us frequent updates and photos. Lily came home a happy and healthy dog. Would highly recommend.
Sean walks my 2 dogs, both rescues, both with quirks. He has a gentle demeanour, is very reliable, honest, dependable, and accepts their quirks and joys. He attaches easily to dogs, and they are VERY excited to see him.

Schedule
I work from home, which allows me to structure my day around my dog Coco’s needs. We take regular walk and cuddle breaks throughout the day, and your dog would be included in that same routine and receive the same level of care and attention.

Safety, trust & environment
Currently living in a suite in Burnaby, it’s part of a beautiful, spacious property with plenty of room for dogs to stretch their legs and play safely. I make sure pets feel comfortable and cared for, giving them a calm indoor space to relax and lots of outdoor time for fun, with a very large spacious yard fully gated for exercise, and fresh air. I tailor their care based on each dog’s personality and routine, whether that means energetic playtime and walks to burn off energy, or quiet cuddle breaks and gentle strolls for more easygoing pups. I keep their feeding, potty, and rest schedules consistent with what they’re used to at home, and I always give plenty of love, attention, and positive reinforcement to make sure they feel safe and happy while you’re away.
Pets
A typical day
Most days start with a peaceful stroll through the trails of Baden Powel upper Delbrook area, where Coco loves to sniff around and explore all the new scents. We wander along the tree lined paths, enjoying the quiet and spotting ducks on the lake or squirrels in the trees. I like to mix things up with a combination of relaxed sniff walks and a bit of brisk walking to keep her energy balanced. We often pause at open grassy spots for a little playtime or just to soak in the calm surroundings. On hotter days, we stick to shaded forested areas to keep cool, and when the weather’s crisp, Coco enjoys the crunchy leaves under her paws. I always make sure walks are tailored to the dog’s pace and personality, calm and relaxed for shy pups, or more energetic and playful for the spirited ones. My goal is for every dog I walk to feel safe, happy, and content just like Coco does by the time we head home for a cozy nap.
