It's very important to me that I know your pet well so I can take care of them in the way that best suits their needs! When they feel understood, it's easier for them to feel more comfortable with me and less stressed that their mom and dad are away. What are their likes and dislikes? This could be their toys, how they like to be pet, talked to, approached, favorite foods. Every pet has their own idiosyncrasies that we don't even think about anymore. My kitty likes to drink out of water glasses more than water fountains! Your dog or cat probably has some little quirks too! Even more important, their feeding and medicine schedules are vital. We will talk ahead of time and I'll make sure we get that info squared away!
A typical day
A fun day with your cat or dog looks like this: We start growing our friendship by playing their favorite way with their favorite toys. Kitties generally need more time to adjust to new people, and can respond very well to quiet time together followed by snacks and playtime with their favorite toy. Other ideas include Cat Tv and Bubbles. Dogs also have a very customized schedule! Depending on how they are feeling, we would go for a walk and then play in the yard! Then inside for a snack followed by naptime, and then maybe tug of war!

When it comes to animals, I love them all. I have extensive experience working with animals especially at a non profit no kill rescue that is unique giving everyone a chance no matter if they need high amounts of medical care. With that background, I'm comfortable caring for cats and dogs with medical needs, of all ages. I am most comfortable with small and medium dogs that are easy going and like going for walks!
