[Important Payment Note]: The platform counts a nightly stay as up to 24 hours, and I have set my rate based on 24 hours. However, if you'd like me to stay overnight only (8 PM to 8 AM), let me know so I can reduce the suggested fee, as it wouldn't be fair to charge you for 24 hours even when I'm staying fewer hours. [Availability]: I study physics at the university and work part-time, but I'm surprisingly good at time management. During lecture periods, it's best to contact me first, so we can make a time plan that fits both our schedules. But during the holidays and when there are no lectures, I'm usually quite flexible. I work online, so as long as I have my laptop, I can spend time with your cute cats and still finish my job and studies. That being said, even if you're unsure, just send me a quick message. We may still be able to work something out. :)

Safety, trust & environment

On our first meeting, I'll be taking notes on any safety precautions (windows, doors, home items, etc.) and what should and shouldn't happen around your cats. You'll get daily updates (2 to 3 times), as well as cute pictures and videos to make sure you know how your fur friends are doing. If anything happens or something comes up, you'll be the first to know. You can also provide me with an emergency contact if someone has to come. Before leaving your home, I'll make sure it's just as clean as when I first arrived, so don't worry about coming back to see the traces of your cats' fun all over the place. It will look nice. ;)

Information Sara M. would like to know about your pet

I'll be bringing my notebook to write down everything about: 1. Stress behaviours (how does your cat show it's uncomfortable and what can be done then). 2. Does the cat have any illnesses or take medication (if so, which?). 3. What's your cat's favourite toy or food? 4. Does your cat have a favourite show to watch or music to listen to? And a lot more... :)

A typical day

I usually start by petting the cats, brushing their glossy fur and talking to them as if they knew what I was saying. Cats may not understand words, but they can catch on to visual cues and feel how you sound. This can make them feel comforted and like someone is really there with them. I could sometimes play music or songs to see if the cat has a preference. Believe it or not, but some really love classical while others are into Leonard Cohen. It's a trial-and-error process. I then sit down near the cats while going about my day with my laptop and check on them every 15 to 20 minutes, spend some time with them, then go back. In the evening, when they have more energy, I bring out the toys, and we start playing, something I enjoy as much as they do. ^^

Cat care experience

Hallo cat owner who now just realised they can't always be at home for their cat! No need to panic. No matter how much you love your cute fur ball and want to be with it, you still need to have a life and meet friends, work or get a drink to get over your cat ignoring you unless it's hungry (I can understand). I don't remember a time in my life where my living space wasn't occupied with cats, kittens and sometimes a bird they caught and brougt home as bounty, even if I didn't ask for it. All these years with them, I observed them and tried to understand how creatures with such fickle personalities could woo anyone with just a wink or a wave of the tail. We as humans have a weakness for cuteness. So no matter what a cat does, all is forgiven as soon as it looks you in the eye with a sparkling gaze and tells you "Meow?". I, like you, did not escape their spell. Although I spent most of my life around them, or rather, because I spent most of my life around them, no matter how much furniture they destroy, how many vases they push off tables and how much food they take from my plate, I still want to be around them. That's why I'm here. I know what your cat wants: someone to spoil it, let it do what it wants and call it pretty (preferrably with as little damage to property as possible). And I know what you want: some time off from being your cat's butler. So, if you're ready for some quality time outside, let me know. ;)

Sara was very reliable and precise, caring to take notes for every instruction we gave her and to keep in touch to update us on how our cats were doing. She cared for our cats very much, playing with them often, and they were quite relaxed once we returned home. I would definitely recommend her as a cat sitter to anyone.

Was will man mehr? Ich kann Sara nur weiterempfehlen :)
