I integrate my visitor pets into everything I do. I will primarily walk your pet but I do have a small fenced yard (20x7). The yard has payers and some a small flower bed/dirt area. It is connected to my work area and I can watch your pet in the yard should fresh air breaks be needed. I would not leave your animal in the yard alone as I think that not okay. If I am inside, they will be inside. I have experience crating pets should that be preferred. However, I’m fine with pet’s being able to roam my home.

Information Sally D. would like to know about your pet
I would request any medication, routines and instructions ahead of time as well as food, and daily activities. I have had dogs up to 100 pounds, but would want them to be able to walk on a leash. I think that a pre meeting would be great so that we can determine if it’s a good fit for both you and I. My partner and I live together and we both interact with your pets.
A typical day
A typical day would be morning hugs, then food and heading outside for morning relief and fun walk. I usually then get my coffee and chill on the couch so your pet would get to chill with me too and play. I would start some work which is usually writing or researching. A mid morning break to either get fresh air or a snack and then back to work. I would take lunch breaks with your per and we could go for a short walk. In the afternoon I take a break where we could play or walk again. Evenings will be dinner and of course a pre bed walk because we all need that.

Joyful Pet Sitting
Pet care experience
I will treat your pet as my own with care, welcoming hugs, and one on one attention. I’m not in the position to have a pet right now but find much joy from being with animals. I’ve had both small and large dogs. I have experience providing dogs with medications as both of my previous dogs needed multiple medications in their older years. I’ve lived with my partner’s cat for a few years and enjoy cats. However, I have less experience with higher needs cat care. I’m open to cat care though. I once watched 10 cats and a goose during grad school. I would go into the house several times a day to change litter and play with the cats and goose.
Reviews

Sally and her family took the absolute best care of our Marley. He only stayed for a day but I could tell he didn't want to leave. Sally was very sweet and really accommodating. Marley enjoyed several walks and cuddle times on the couch. We look forward to booking with Sally again!

Sally took wonderful care of Kiwi, and I HIGHLY recommend her services. She updated us with pictures and comments about Kiwi’s progress from day one — & throughout his time in her care. And, because of the pictures she sent, in addition to her commentary on his behaviors, we could see that Kiwi was not only safe, but happy and transitioning well. He ate pretty well, sat with Sally & Mark often, slept on their bed, and loved his many walks through their neighborhood. Thank you Sally (& Mark) for treating our pup like your own!!! It allowed us to go away and feel confident our pup was not only safe, & in good hands, but happy!

Sally is awesome! We left our sassy corgi with Sally for a long weekend and you could tell he had awesome time. She sent consistent updates with pictures (which we loved!) and you could just tell he was really well taken care of. They went on a ton of walks, Ollie got lots of love, and you could tell he felt really comfortable. We’ll definitely be reaching out to Sally again for future visits!

Sally and her husband (and son) took such amazing care of our senior dog while we were on vacation. They went above and beyond, catering to his needs and taking him to and from his grooming appointment. He can be anxious in new environments but seemed to adjust very well to them. They seemed to genuinely love him like their own! We would without a doubt use them in the future!
