Since I work remotely as a freelancer, I am very flexible regarding my schedule and location. I absolutely adore pets but my current traveling lifestyle is not great for having pets of my own. Pet-sitting has allowed me to meet and look after the most adorable pets while exploring new places together and I am looking forward to becoming fast friends with your fur babies:)

Making sure your pets are happy and healthy is always my number 1 priority! Since most pets love their routines, I am more than happy to follow your usual schedule and to continue any training you might be doing or anything you might be working on. I am always happy to accommodate any requests that are specific to your pet, since they are all unique with their own little quirks, personalities and specific needs. Seeing them relaxed and content after a long walk or a fun training or play session is always the best reward!:)

A typical day
I am happy to look after your pet in which ever way that you prefer. I am happy to take your dog on a long walk or hike, play with them or work on some commands. If you have a senior pup who just wants to sniff the neighborhood for a while, that sounds great as well. When looking after your cats, I'm happy to completely go at their speed and see what they are feeling up to, from keeping their distance to lots of playtime and cuddles. Just let me know how I can best help you look after your pet:)

Pet care experience
I'm from a small village near Stuttgart and grew up taking care of our family pets, a Sheltie (Scully), a rescue cat (Hazel) and two bunnies. I have spent the past two years continuously pet-sitting amazing dogs and cats all over Europe while working remotely. Caring for and working with so many different pets has been an incredible experience and has made me very adaptable to their different personalities and needs, including medical needs, reactivity etc. Should you be working on any commands or behavioral issues with your dogs, I am more than happy to continue your training while looking after them. I am also comfortable looking after pets with special medical needs as well as senior pets and giving them lots of love and attention.

We absolutely loved meeting Rebekka and immediately knew she was the right choice! She showed so much love and care for our little cat Yodi and we even spent half a day with her before we left and our son took to her as if she was family- a real testament to Rebekkas gentle and kind nature. She was completely self sufficient, despite offering to take her to the supermarket she arrived with all her chosen food for the coming week and she wasn’t phased at all by the somewhat random bus schedule where we live! All in all, we’d love to spend more time with Rebekka and wholeheartedly recommend her as a sitter
Rebekka was wonderful to work with. So friendly and sweet. Our two shelties loved her so much, even when we returned home they wanted to keep cuddling with her! We returned to a nice clean home and very happy dogs. I would of course recommend Rebekka and would love to have her back anytime!
Rebekka was a brilliant - easy communication, friendly and reliable. Our two cats were very well looked after and we returned to a very clean and tidy home. Rebekka sent us regular photos and updates about how the cats were doing and always reconfirmed times and dates of arrival and departure to ensure there was no mix up. We would absolutely have Rebekka to stay again and would recommend her to any others who are considering her for a pet sit.
I am so grateful to Rebekka for all she did for Milly and Kiwi; she was the perfect cat-sitter and flat-sitter. She really couldn't have been better and I think that if cats miss people, they will definitely miss Rebekka. She sent me some lovely photos of them both on a very regular basis which showed how content they both were in her company. She was a very calm, quiet human companion for them. She looked after their dietary needs and was concerned about their health (the occasional vomit or grass-eating habit of Milly), was extremely reliable and left the flat absolutely spotless. Communication with her was very easy and she was extremely independent - a totally seasoned traveller with no language or cultural barriers. Rebekka, I wish you well on your travels now which sound so exciting! Enjoy being in the best company. Thank you for everything and safe travels.
