Please note I am not available from 23rd Feb til start of April - going on my travels! I am Rachael, I am a community therapist working around Southampton. I have had my wonderful cat, Chickpea, for 8 years and have also looked after cats regularly during this time. I know every cat is unique and different, which is why I totally love them. Otherwise I love gardening and paddleboarding or swimming in the nearby rivers and sea.

Safety, trust & environment
I am very keen to learn about what is safe and comfortable for pets, and I always like knowing instructions, guidance, likes and dislikes, and to have back up plans in place if needed. I am a very invested pet owner myself and understand how hard it can be to leave your pets. I will keep you as in the loop as you like, and will send lots of pictures.
Ratings and reviews
Rachael looked after our cat Layla whilst we were away for just over two weeks and we couldn’t be happier with the job she did. We met beforehand and felt very reassured that we were leaving her in good hands. Received lovely pic and video updates throughout the trip and came home to a very happy cat. Highly recommended!
Rachael looked after our boys Georgie & Morgan we felt relaxed away and knew they were in good hands! We had video and pic updates everyday! We met Rachael before and she was friendly and chatty and our cats loved her straight away! We highly recommend Rachael and we will definitely rebook in the future!

I had the pleasure of having Rachael look after my boys over Easter, and I'm very pleased with the care they received. It was clear that she genuinely cared for my cats, taking the time to play with them and look after them. They were relaxed and happy when I returned, which reassured me a lot.
Rachael was fantastic with our cats! She looked after them and kept them wonderfully entertained over the Xmas period and they seemed to warm to her immediately on her first visit. She sent us some lovely pictures, she's clearly a very experienced cat carer and has looked after a great many cats in the past, we highly recommend her!

Schedule
I work flexibly around Southampton so I know the area well and can usually be quite accommodating for visit times. I really enjoy pet care and love animals, so it's always a bonus to my day to see and treat any pet.
