For dogs, that might mean: • Walks full of sniffing and exploring at their pace • Playtime with favorite toys (tug, fetch, or squeaky fun!) • Training games or simple tricks for mental stimulation • Cuddles, belly rubs, or relaxing together after play • If they’re social and it’s a good fit, playtime with my own friendly puppy For cats, fun can look a little different but just as rewarding: • Feather wands, laser pointers, or puzzle toys • Quiet brushing sessions (if they enjoy it) • Window watching with cozy perches • Interactive play to keep them mentally sharp and entertained • Respectful one-on-one time or independent space, depending on their vibe Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers calm companionship, I adapt to what they love.
