Pet care experience

💗Caring for Pets like Family💗

I've been an animal lover my whole life and treat every pet as if they were my own. I had the time of my life with my sweet girl, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge last year. She filled my life with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories, and caring for her was one of the greatest privileges of my life. As a special education teacher, I'm patient, dependable, and attentive to each pet's unique personality and needs. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, or relaxing with company, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. I'll follow their routine closely and keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can have peace of mind knowing they're in caring hands. 🐾❤️

I've seen firsthand how much Nicole loves dogs — especially mine. She lights up around her, keeps her happy and spoiled, and treats her like family. Nicole's reliable, caring, and the kind of person who actually pays attention to what makes a dog comfortable. Highly, highly recommend.

Schedule

Pet care fits very well into my routine, especially since I’m currently off for the summer. This gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, and quality time with pets. During the school year, I have a structured schedule as a special education teacher, which still allows me to be available in the mornings, afternoons, evenings, and on weekends. I’m organized and reliable, and I make sure each pet gets consistent care, attention, and time without feeling rushed.

Safety, trust & environment

I care for every pet like they’re my own and always focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In a client’s home, I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine so they feel secure in their familiar environment. I pay close attention to details like feeding instructions, walks, medications, and any special needs. Safety is always my top priority, I make sure doors are secure, pets are properly leashed outside, and they’re never left unattended during visits. I also treat your home with respect and care, leaving everything clean and just as I found it. My goal is to build trust through reliability, communication, and genuine love for animals so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away. 🐾

A typical day

I love making sure pets are happy, comfortable, and mentally stimulated while I’m with them. For dogs, that can include walks tailored to their energy level, playtime with their favorite toys, sniffing and exploring time outside, or just relaxing company if they prefer a calmer pace. For cats, I enjoy interactive play with toys, laser pointers, or wand toys, as well as giving them space for cuddles or quiet companionship on their terms. I also make sure every pet gets plenty of attention, affection, and positive interaction so they feel cared for and not alone while their owners are away. 🐾

Before caring for a pet, I like to know anything that helps keep them safe, comfortable, and happy. This includes their daily routine, feeding schedule, leash or walking habits, and any medical needs or medications. I also appreciate knowing their personality, whether they’re shy, energetic, anxious, or reactive, so I can approach them in a way that helps them feel at ease. It’s helpful to know how they do with other animals and people, any triggers to avoid, and their favorite toys, activities, or comfort items. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make sure each pet feels secure and cared for while their owner is away.
