I’ve cared for dogs and animals for over 20 years and have experience with puppies, senior dogs, high-energy breeds, and shy or anxious pets. Along with personal pet care experience, I’ve also volunteered with the VOKRA (Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association) as a foster navigator and socializer, helping animals become comfortable, confident, and well-adjusted around people. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, supervise, and care for their pets as if they were my own. I’m patient, attentive, active, and genuinely passionate about animals, and I always prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness while in my care.

Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I’m attentive, patient, and experienced with reading animal behavior and making pets feel safe and secure in new environments. Through my volunteer experience with VOKRA as a foster navigator and socializer, I’ve worked with animals that require extra patience, supervision, and trust-building. I’m very aware of roads, other dogs, other animals, and environmental factors during walks and outings, and I always prioritize safe, controlled, and positive experiences for every pet in my care. I follow owner instructions carefully, maintain a clean and calm environment, and treat every pet like family.

I have seen Niko growing a lovely bond with his dog Oz, when he welcomed him home through a rehoming. They enjoy each other's company and spend quality time together. They go hiking, to the beach, to the park! Oz gets groomed often, is kept cool in the heat, and they happily rest in the shade together in the hot hours of summer afternoons.
Nico's mix of enthusiasm and confidence makes him ideal to work with Maggie.

I know Niko as a fellow regular at Connaught Park. In the time I have spent seeing him at the park, he has always been responsible, attentive to his own dog, and respectful of the other dogs and owners in the space. He has a calm, positive demeanor and is clearly dedicated to his pet’s well-being. I would have no hesitation in recommending him as a reliable and caring person for dog walking services.
Niko is a true animal lover. From volunteering at a local cat rescue to caring for his own pets, his life is dedicated to animals. He is wonderful with my dog and always ensures he comes back home tired and happy. His own dog is very sweet and well behaved.

Schedule
Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine since I already spend a lot of time around animals and regularly go on walks and outdoor activities. I’m active, reliable, and flexible with scheduling, and I make sure pets get plenty of exercise, attention, playtime, and care throughout the day. I’m also experienced with maintaining routines, feeding schedules, and making pets feel comfortable and relaxed while their owners are away.
