My dog recently went over the rainbow bridge, and I miss exploring the neighborhood, park or beach with her! I am available for walks and dog sitting in my home. My husband loves having dogs around...they all know he is the treat man! We are here to keep your dog company and make sure she or he is happy. Dogs are encouraged to hang out on the furniture with us :) We have a secure yard for potty breaks and playtime, and our neighborhood is great for all sorts of dog walks. Last minute plans? We are happy to try to accommodate you!

All overnight pet care includes walks and play time and snuggles. On walks, the pace is up to the dog- I enjoy the walk as much as they do. It's all about the dog when I am with them, so they get lots of extra attention! When I see my client pups they are always excited to see me!

It's good to know if your dog loves to say hi to other dogs, or prefers people instead. Does your dog want to chase cats? Tends to get the zoomies? Or just wants to sniff every single bush and tree? Every dog knows some words, (or a lot!) so it helps to know what your pup responds to. Food/treat preferences and allergies are important info, the more details the better.
A typical day
Whether your dog loves the trail or open space, or is used to walking in an urban neighborhood, we will find something fun and interesting to do together. A fast walk or sniffs every 2 feet? It's the dog's choice. Naps in the sun or in the shade...they always find a favorite spot. Fetch, tug, hide n seek...or we can chill on the couch together. I look forward to getting to know your dog!

Pet care experience
I love to hang out with dogs and it's fun to see their personalities come out when they stay! Our house is very dog friendly, so your dog will be comfortable and happy, just like at home. We don't use crates unless the dog prefers it, but every time I've asked, the dog chooses the couch or bed! We have a special place in our hearts for senior dogs and don't mind giving extra special care. We love puppy energy too, and have a box of toys they all love.

Nancy and Robert were fantastic! We were looking someone who we could trust to board our dog while we were visiting LEGOLAND(about 10-15min away), and we are so lucky we found them. They are both quick to respond, responsible, friendly, and above all, our dog loved them and their cozy home with a secure back yard. She was able to go on a walk by the beach! They sent me pictures and updates throughout the stay. We would recommend them to anyone, and we would definitely ask them to watch our dog every time we visit Carlsbad!
Ruby loved her stay with Ms. Nancy! She got lots of love, cuddles, playtime and walks. Nancy followed all instructions and provided regular updates which were great knowing my pup was happy and taken care of.
Can't recommend Nancy enough! We needed to book her last minute for our dog Tommy and she was super accommodating, knew exactly how to integrate him with other dogs, and was super communicative. So glad we found her.
