I recently graduated with my Master’s in Occupational Therapy and am currently studying for my board exam, which gives me a flexible schedule throughout the week. I use my study breaks to get outside for mental clarity, and that usually means long walks or runs with my own high-energy dog. Caring for dogs is already a big part of my daily routine. My dog and I spend a lot of time outdoors staying active, whether it’s long walks, neighborhood strolls, or getting some energy out with a run. Adding dog walking to my schedule feels like a natural fit because it allows me to do something I already love while helping other dogs get the exercise and attention they need during the day.

Safety, trust & environment
I’ve worked with a professional trainer to help my own dog overcome fears of loud sounds and unfamiliar environments. Through that experience, I learned techniques that support safe, structured, and enjoyable walks while still allowing dogs to explore and have fun. I understand every dog has different needs, so I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal walking routine, pace, and training goals. If your dog is working on training, I’m glad to reinforce leash manners and positive behaviors during our walks so they have consistent carryover. I also have experience with reactive or easily startled dogs and take a safety-first approach by choosing routes that help avoid triggers and stressful situations whenever possible. You can expect reliable care, clear communication, and post-walk updates, so you always know how your dog did and feel confident they’re in good hands. I’m also happy to arrange a meet-and-greet to make sure both you and your dog feel comfortable before booking.

Pet care experience
What sets me apart is my combination of 20+ years of dog ownership, training experience, and a safety-first approach. I currently have a high-energy dog of my own, so I understand how important exercise, structure, and reliable routines are for a dog’s well-being. I’ve also worked with a professional trainer to help my dog overcome fears of loud sounds and unfamiliar environments while transitioning from suburban to city living. Through that experience, I developed strong skills in leash handling, positive reinforcement, and reading canine body language, which helps me keep walks calm, safe, and enjoyable. My background in occupational therapy has also made me patient, observant, and detail-oriented—qualities that help me quickly understand a dog’s comfort level and energy. I know it can feel stressful trusting someone new with your dog, which is why I focus on safe, structured walks, clear communication, and dependable care. I’m always happy to arrange a meet-and-greet so both you and your dog feel comfortable before booking.
Reviews

Michelle was absolutely wonderful with my dog, Mogi! From the very beginning, her communication was excellent and she was incredibly punctual. What I appreciated the most was her genuine care for Mogi’s happiness. Michelle really took the time to understand Mogi’s specific preferences and routines. We even did a meet-and-greet beforehand, where she was very thorough in asking questions to ensure she could provide the best care possible. I also had several last-minute changes to my schedule, and Michelle was incredibly flexible and patient. She handled every adjustment with a great attitude and total willingness to help. It’s a huge relief to find someone so reliable and attentive. I will definitely be booking her services again! Highly recommended.
Michelle did an amazing job watching my pitbull mix, Gracie. She was patient, attentive, and clearly great with dogs. Gracie came back happy and even picked up a few new tricks while she was with Michelle, which I definitely wasn’t expecting. I also appreciated the updates while I was away. It was clear Gracie was being well taken care of. I’d highly recommend Michelle to anyone looking for a reliable sitter.
Michelle is the only person I trust with my dachshund, Martin. Anyone who has ever had a dachshund knows they can be a little stubborn, but she somehow had him walking calmly on a leash without pulling in less than five minutes. She’s a magician. She’s incredibly patient, attentive, and clearly understands dogs and their personalities. Martin absolutely adores her, and I always feel completely at ease when he’s in her care. If you’re looking for someone reliable, kind, and genuinely great with dogs, Michelle is the one you want watching your pet.
Michelle was great with my pup. She's on time, great communication, and gave me great insight into alternatives for my dog's teeth. I have a golden retiever and he has a lot of energy which she managed well. I can tell she has a knack for taking care of dogs and truly cares about their well-being. My dog loves her so much. Would definitely book her anytime!
