I grew up with a corgi and lived with a lab, and I have experience watching all types of dogs. I have been on Rover since 2016, and I have met so many great friends here!

Michael is the best!!
We had an amazing experience boarding our dog Larry with Michael. Larry struggles with separation anxiety, but Michael made him feel completely at home and cared for him with such patience and kindness. Knowing Larry was in such good hands allowed us to fully enjoy our family wedding weekend. He provided updates and photos of their walks and time chilling, which provided us with so much comfort during the weekend. We’re so grateful for the exceptional care Michael provided and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a thoughtful, reliable sitter! Thank you, Michael!
As always, Michael is great with our dog! She doesn’t hesitate when we arrive which tells me she likes him!
My dog had the best time and I got lots of picture updates! If you have a reactive dog who needs a peaceful place to stay while you are gone Michael is perfect. My dog does not warm up to strangers very fast but loved Michael would highly recommend his dog sitting!

Schedule
I work for the State Monday through Friday, but I love spending time with pets on the weekends. I'm usually available for meet and greets on weekdays after 5:30 pm. I don't currently have any pets, and I only book with one client per weekend.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard, and I have extensive experience watching dogs with socialization issues. If your pup is aggressive around other animals I can take walk routes that allow me to see if other dogs are nearby and avoid any unwanted confrontations.
A typical day
I generally go on four walks per day, early morning, noon, afternoon, and evening, plus playtime in between. If your dog loves being social we'll spend time at Truitt dog park, otherwise we'll be wandering all around midtown.
