Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. I work part-time remotely from home on my own flexible schedule, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, potty breaks, playtime, feeding, medication (if needed), and personalized care throughout the day. I’m a true homebody who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals, so pets are rarely left alone for long. My flexible lifestyle allows me to adapt to each pet’s routine, ensuring they receive consistent care, love, exercise, and a calm, safe environment where they feel comfortable, secure, and treated like family.

Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my highest priorities. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I treat every animal with the same love, patience, and respect that I give my own. In my home, pets enjoy a clean, calm, and supervised environment where they receive plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and companionship throughout the day. My five friendly, well-socialized pets can provide positive interaction for social animals, while pets who prefer quiet time can enjoy a separate yard or their own space. If your pet is crate-trained or you prefer they be crated during meals, bedtime, or when appropriate, I’m happy to follow their normal routine. I believe consistency helps pets feel secure and reduces stress. When caring for pets in your home, I respect your home and follow your pet’s established schedule as closely as possible. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, medications, walks, potty breaks, bedtime routines, and favorite activities to help your pet feel comfortable in their familiar surroundings. I’ll also make sure doors, gates, and fences remain secure, clean up after your pet, monitor for any changes in behavior or health, and keep you updated while you’re away. Every pet is unique, so I take the time to understand their personality, energy level, medical needs, and comfort level around other animals. Whether your companion loves to play, enjoys quiet naps, or requires extra patience due to age or special needs, I’ll provide personalized care that helps them feel safe, relaxed, and loved. My goal is to earn your trust by providing dependable care and giving you complete peace of mind, knowing your pet is in experienced, compassionate hands.

Please let me know about your pet’s personality, daily routine, feeding schedule, medications, allergies, medical conditions, fears, anxieties, favorite toys, commands they know, exercise needs, and any behaviors I should be aware of, such as resource guarding, separation anxiety, escape tendencies, leash reactivity, or whether they get along with other dogs, cats, children, or strangers. Please also let me know if your pet is crate-trained, has any potty training needs, is allowed on furniture, or has any habits you’d like me to reinforce or discourage. The more I know about your pet, the better I can tailor their care, keep them safe, maintain their routine, and ensure they have a happy, comfortable, and stress-free stay.
A typical day
Every day is filled with fun, exercise, enrichment, and plenty of love! I tailor each day’s activities to your dog’s age, personality, energy level, and preferences so they have an enjoyable and stress-free experience. A typical day includes potty breaks, fresh water, scheduled meals, supervised outdoor play, and lots of one-on-one attention. Dogs who love to stay active can enjoy games of fetch, Frisbee, tug-of-war, chasing balls, exploring the yard, and interactive toys that keep their minds engaged. Social dogs can safely play with my friendly resident dogs under close supervision, while those who prefer their own space can enjoy individual playtime and personalized attention. Throughout the day, there are plenty of opportunities for belly rubs, ear scratches, cuddles, naps, and relaxing in the shade. For puppies, I reinforce good manners and positive behaviors through praise and encouragement. Senior dogs receive a slower pace with gentle walks, extra comfort, and plenty of affection. If your dog has favorite toys, games, routines, or commands, I’ll happily include them in their day to help them feel right at home. My goal is for every dog to go home happy, relaxed, well-exercised, and excited to come back for their next visit!

For over five decades, I’ve had the joy and privilege of caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. What began as a childhood love for animals has grown into a lifelong passion and profession. From raising litters of puppies to gently bottle-feeding orphaned kittens, and from grooming horses to tending to backyard chickens, I’ve experienced nearly every aspect of pet care. My journey includes extensive hands-on experience with dogs, cats, turtles, fish, horses, cattle, and chickens. Whether it’s managing the complex needs of a senior dog, administering medication to a diabetic cat, or ensuring a horse’s hooves are properly cleaned and checked, I bring a deep well of knowledge, calm confidence, and loving patience to every animal I care for. Throughout my career, I’ve worked on farms, in veterinary settings, and as a full-time pet sitter. I’ve handled emergency situations, special needs animals, and high-energy breeds. I know the importance of not just feeding and walking pets, but understanding their behavior, emotional needs, and unique personalities. I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family.
