Hi! I’m Melissa 🐾 If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like their own, you’ve come to the right place! I have several years of hands-on experience working with dogs and in pet-care environments, and caring for animals is something I genuinely love. I’ve worked in dog daycare and pet-care settings where I’ve been responsible for the daily care of 20–40 dogs at a time. I’m experienced with dogs of different personalities and energy levels and understand how important it is to keep them safe, comfortable, happy, and engaged throughout the day. I also have experience with bathing, shampooing, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, and nail clipping, so I’m very comfortable with hands-on care and making sure pups stay clean and well cared for. For dog walks and daytime pet sitting, my goal is to give your pup plenty of attention, companionship, exercise, and love while you’re busy or away. I’ll take the time to learn your dog’s routine, personality, and preferences so they can feel comfortable and relaxed in my care. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’ll always prioritize your pet’s safety and well-being and keep you updated so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. ❤️ Whether your pup needs a fun walk, some playtime, a midday visit, or a full day of companionship, I’d love to meet them!

I currently offer pet care in my clients’ homes and dog walking, so I focus on making sure your pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for in their own familiar environment. 🐾 For drop-in visits and house sitting, I follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding, fresh water, litter box care, medication, playtime, walks, and lots of attention and cuddles (depending on your pet’s personality, of course! 🐱). I’m happy to follow detailed instructions and accommodate each pet’s individual needs and quirks. For dog walks, I make sure your pup gets a safe, enjoyable walk that matches their energy level and routine. Whether they’re looking for a quick potty break, a good sniff around the neighbourhood, or a longer adventure, I’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise and attention. I live in a one-bedroom apartment with my own cat, so I’m not currently offering boarding or pet sitting in my home. I’m more than happy to come to your home instead, where your pet can stay in their own comfortable, familiar space while you’re away. 🏡🐶🐱

Melissa is an amazing pet caregiver, she has been walking our dog, and taking him on hikes since he was 6 months old. She is extremely reliable and trustworthy. My 2 year old golden retriever absolutely loves her. I confidently recommend her to anyone and everyone.

Melissa was wonderful with all of our pets! She took great care of our cat, was reliable and attentive with our senior dog’s medication, and made sure Hugo got plenty of exercise and attention on his walks. She even incorporated some training into his walks, which we really appreciated. Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my routine! 🐾 I’m a student, but I have a flexible schedule with plenty of time off, and I primarily work from home, which gives me lots of flexibility throughout the week. This makes it easy for me to fit in walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, and plenty of quality time with pets. Because I work from home, I’m often able to be around during the day rather than leaving pets alone for long periods of time. I can also be flexible around different routines, whether your dog needs a midday walk, your cat needs a visit and some company, or your pet simply needs someone around while you’re away. I genuinely love spending my free time with animals, so pet care is something I’m happy to build into my everyday routine. My goal is to make sure your pets get plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and cuddles while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. 🐶🐱💕
